Anyone remember when the first started playing some of dem vidya games? I definitely do. Back when I was 4 and 5 I had the NES and SNES. I spent like all my time there before Kindergarten. There's were the days. The last classic systems I have are the SNES and Gamecube, if that counts as classic yet. Now I'm kinda into the same games I used to love, but more on the pokemon and sonic side rather than Mario. I still appreciate certain Mario games though, like the Karts and Luigi's Mansion and such.

My first console was the N64 and I remember that the first games I played on it were formula one games and a Mickey mouse game as well. I remember that I actually never really spent too much time playing video games, it wasn't really until I started playing on the PS2 that I started gaming a lot, was playing Jak and Daxter on the PS2 and I remember I spent quite a bit of time playing it. But my first console was the N64 and I really enjoyed the first game I had on it, it was Mickey Mouse Speedway USA. I really liked it and it was the beginning of my gaming days.

I can't really remember all that much to be honest. But one of my earliest memories is trying to play Duck Hunt on NES. So either that or Super Mario Bros. was the first game I've ever played. However, I quickly moved up to Nintendo 64 from there. And I have plenty of fond memories about that . But really I've been gaming ever since I can remember. Not always as intensely as now but definitely a lot no matter my age. Today it's one of my most defining hobbies and definitely something that has had a huge impact on my life. And I wouldn't have it any other was :)!

Back in 2004, when I was 4 years old, my dad let me play the Half-Life games on his computer. It was great stuff. I shall always remember the first time running through the Black Mesa facility in Half-Life 1, how my Dad was directing me throughout the entire game, teaching me good strategies

The first video game that I played was Super Mario Advanced 4: Super Mario 3. I remember Toad being the worst guard.

I also played a lot of stuff like Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Sonic Advance 2. It wasn't for a while before I started delving into games like Pokemon: FireRed and LeafGreen. I remember the first game I ever beat was Kirby and The Amazing Mirror!.

Oh, I remember. Pokemon Red Version.

Good times, good times...

It was not just the first videogame I ever played, but also the first one I ever had. Got it on one of my birthdays back in elementary school. My family and I took vacation in the USA during summer holidays, so to give me something to do and a nice birthday present, they gave the game and a Game Boy Color. And I still have both. All the time I spent playing that game...

Oh man do I remember my first gaming days....

So I wasn't alive back in the NES or SNES eras,I was born when the N64 was still the big console. I did grow up with my dads old NES though and that was my first console. I played Tecmo Super Bowl, Pirates!, Super Mario Bros 2 and 3, it was a great way to get introduced to games. Then we got a gamecube which is still my favorite console to this day. I loved Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, and a lot of sports games.

And my DS which I will include because it was my first handheld, I played Pokemon Pearl, Mario Kart DS, Ace Attorney, LOZ: Phantom Hourglass/ Spirit Tracks

I remember it as it's all started at 1995 with warcraft, but in reallty, it began earlier with Dune II in 1993 or 1994, but it was Warcraft which determined my love with RTS, and especially Blizzard games.

My uncle owned a lot of computers at that time - so at his place I always played at the new year eve (we always celibrated at his place) with him and my father and grandfather in Warcraft II, 2x2, 1x1x1x1 and other different ways.

I had played some NES and SNES games when I was young, but the first console I ever owned was a slightly used N64 with Jet Force Gemini (which I have still not beaten to this day) Pokemon Stadium and the first game I ever played on the system: Super Mario 64. While it was fun though, the moment I attribute to officially starting me down the gaming path I follow today would be when I got a Gameboy Color for Christmas one year. Despite the fact that I only had Donkey Kong Country for it at first, I played the hell out of that green colored brick, I even worked up the nerve to start taking it to school when I say other people playing their's during recess.

Yes, back when I was like 6 my siblings used to have an N64 and I loved to play games on it such as Golden Eye 007 or Super mario cart; however, it wasn't until I got a gamecube and played Starfox Adventures when I really started loving to play videogames.

The first console I had was a Gameboy Advanced, and the first game I remember playing is Pokémon Sapphire. :D I still love Pokémon so much! :squee: I also enjoy the Harvest Moon games and things like Scribblenauts and Drawn to Life, as well as Mario games.

My First Gaming Days? Good Question, If I recalled Correctly, I had 3 systems which was original Game Boy, NES, and SNES, but I don't remember which Game though., As For the NES, I started out playing super mario bros. 1-3 or World Class Track Meet for the NES either one, but I don't remember. Game boy? Well I didn't get much experience with the system till I got better. I think my first game for the system would be Either Serpent or Tetris, but I think Serpent as I recall. For SNES, then It's most likely that I played 2 games I started out with which was F-Zero and Super Mario World, but never got the hang of those games for the First time I played them.

Ah, my first gaming days were me being frustrated at my parents SNES. I tried playing super Mario world and I could never get anywhere. I was a natural speed runner that blindly rushed through all the levels. I'm a lot better now of course, I beat that game later and went on to kaizo.

My first very own console was an atomic purple gameboy colour with pokemon blue and yellow.

I could have sworn I've seen this question before, but I can't for the life of me find it.

Anyway. Pong. I'm not kidding. It was 1970-something, and it was the first home arcade system I'd ever seen.

I think that on my first gaming days I played a stupid game on a computer. Probably my first game. Then my sister got a Game Boy, started playing Pokemon while I was 6 or so. Then I got a PlayStation 2, then a PlayStation 3. I got hooked for about 7 years on the consoles. But then I switched to PC MASTER RACE. I think one of my first real PC games was Empire Earth II. It was just too fun.

Oh yeah... I remember being 6 years old, sitting right in front of the TV playing Bomberman Hero and Banjo Kazooie on the new N64... I could never get through anything though, I sucked so hard back then lol. Certainly good times though, good times.
