Hard G, just doesn't sound right the other way

Is it "eff-ehh-kyoo" or "fak".

 

This one is really annoying because when I'm writing I can never be sure if it is "an FAQ" or "a FAQ".

Yeah, that is a weird one. I pronounce FAQ as "eff-ay-kyoo", but I pronounce GameFAQs as game fax.

Well since GIF stands for Graphics Iinterchange Format, I pronounce it like the G in Graphics. Gift without the t.
