Is it possible for Bronies to form a country? Or at least a village?

Yet another topic that requires a little bit of brain-stormin' or a word like that.

 

Well, I've been reading bronies surveys and someone did say that there are around 7 to 12.4 million of us in this very earth. Recently, I've got this sort of weird question inside my mind and I've just made my own version of Worldwide Bronies logo, and so... could bronies actually form a country or at least a small one.

Whats funny is I had a talk about this with my room mates yesterday. I mean they are all against bronys but with the amount of us it actually could be possible. Whos got connections with a government? Ok so it wouldnt happen, but still.

The main problems I see with this idea are:

 

One: Space. We would need to find the space to found our own country, not an easy thing to do.

Two: Being recognized by other countries as a country.

Three: Are there enough different skill sets to make running the country viable? If not, then it won't last long.

Four: Yes, there are many bronies, but how many would actually be willing to  join the country? Many of them seem happy as they are.

 

So in conclusion, I would say maybe, but it's not viable.

I wouldn't put any stock in a hypothetical society that was only united by its citizens' shared love of a cartoon, or such a society's governmental or economic stability. Surviving as a country is hard and requires time, money, and resources; Simply sitting around all day watching and/or talking about MLP does nothing to contribute to any of those things. Seriously, even if securing enough unclaimed land and relocating millions of fans en masse wasn't laughably impossible, a country formed on the basis of My Little Pony fandom would be an absolute trainwreck of a place to live.

 

The number of positive responses to this idea confounds me. MLP fandom, I love you, but you can be really out there sometimes. :/

Well, when you think about it, we have our own virtual country here. We cant walk around and go shopping or anything, but we have intros which is the plane coming in with new people, canterlot castle is the government, show discussion is like talking with mates about shows, sugarcube corner is where and when you and your friends are going to the cinema or going to the park, Octavia's hall is going to an art museum, role play is what your pony does in the virtual world, beyond equstria is just like messing around with your mates at the pub or something.
