I was wondering if you guys would ever consider in getting a tattoo of my little pony friendship is magic. I am not sure if I would get one but I am considering it but I am just afraid of the needles and I am not sure how much it would hurt in getting a tattoo since I never got one and I am also afraid of needles x.x..

But once I get myself in shape and have more confidence in myself I might consider getting one but as of right now I am still debating if I should get one or not. Also I got some images I found and was wondering which of these images you think would make a perfect tattoo for me.

Discord

Hmm, i don't necessarily like tattoos, however, that discord one would probably be the only one i would even consider getting, it doesn't scream fandom, and it looks really cool ;)

I personnaly like tattoos, but they need to have a personal meaning. If I ever get one, it wouldn't be about a T.V. show because I'm afraid I would end up being bored by it. Beside, tattoos are really hard to remove. You have to make sure it's not something that you would lose interest in ten or twenty years...

There's no way I would ever do that. I mean, that's going to be there for the rest of your life. Getting any tattoo is a big decision to make, but a tattoo of a cartoon horse?

I really don't think that's a very good idea...

I don't think i'll ever get a Tattoo. Mostly because i'm very prone to changing my mind. I'm likely to get one then wake up the next morning not liking it at all.

Of course. A pony related tattoo will make anyone 20% cooler. Personally I would get something subtle like cutie marks. My personal choices would probably be:

-Rainbow Dash cutie mark

-Vinyl Scratch cutie mark

-Pinkie Pie cutie mark

-Celestia cutiemark

-Trixie cutiemark

I have never had a tatoo before, and if I was ever to get one I would get one of the above choice, or all of themimg-1379355-5-xtWXQl1.png

I was thinking about getting a MLP-esque tattoo. I don't think I would want a pony or any of their cutiemarks because I switch between favorites all the time. I was considering getting my own cutie mark on my hip, but I'm not quite sure yet and I have to decide on what my cutie mark would really look like.

What fun is there in making sense?

I would, but the problem would be what I would get as a tattoo. It'd have to be meaningful to me, but I'm not sure of a design for one yet. I would definitely get a tattoo, but I think first I'll get a rose tattoo with a certain special somepony's name written in the petals...

Personally, I don't want anything that is permanent on me.

Cause once it's there, it's there - and it ain't gonna be easy to get off.

Not that I don't like My Little Pony or anything - just don't want to have a permanent mark of it on me. I don't want a permanent mark of anything on me.

I love tattoos, and I don't regret any of mine.  I do get a lot of people asking me about how I'm going to feel when I'm older / if the tattoo stops having meaning, and I think my answer might be relevant to this thread.

It's really unlikely that you're going to get a tattoo that will hold a really deep meaning for you forever. People grow and change, so how likely is it that you'll absolutely love the same things 40 years from now? I'm not saying it's impossible, just not that likely. So when I have a tattoo, I tend to ask myself  if -remembering- how meaningful it was at the time will make it worthwhile. Take for example, the tattoo on my back. It's huge (covers my whole upper back), and it's about a novel I am no longer writing and a character I never think about now. BUT the memory of how much I loved working on that novel and the fact that it got me through a rough period in my life makes it a good memory, and it's a beautiful piece of artwork, so I'm happy to carry that memory with me permanently.

So if MLP really means a lot to you / contributes to your life and you know you'll always treasure that even if your interest wanes one day, why not! You can always get something fairly subtle, like a cutie mark or silhouette if you don't want to have an all-out cartoon horse on you forever ;)

My plan in life is to invent the 5 year tatoo or at least a chemical that makes tatoos vanish painlessly and become richy rich

"If you feel the need to treat me like garbage, I'll feel the need to throw you into the back of a compressing garbage truck."

"I'd rather "go to hell" for hugging a guy I like then makeout in heaven with a girl I don't."

Funny you should mention that, I've been thinking of getting someone's cutie mark tattooed somewhere. Just not sure who's. I've already got Mass Effect, Firefly and Harry Potter tattoos. I think its a great idea. But the thing you need to remember is; you will have that tattoo for the rest of your life, so you need to be really sure that when you look at it the only thing it will do is remind you of why you got it or the times you spent enjoying whatever made you get the tattoo.

I'd probably get something like the discord tattoo on the OP's post. Just because of it's vagueness and dark appearance. I'm not really a big fan of body art anyway so I wouldn't really want one that much anyway.

I'd rather get a plushie, but I'm afraid of getting teased at it though

Um, nope. I'm sorry, but as much as I hate to admit it, MLP is just a huge fad. A fad that will be adored one minute and be gone the next. Just think about when you're old and wrinkly, and you have to explain to your grandchildren why their grandad/grandma has colourful cartoon ponies from a girl's TV show spawned from dolls all over their arms. I'm sorry, but it's just like permanently marking your body with some phase you went through during your teenage years. Forgotten and regretted.

Most likely not. While I've no doubt that I'll always remain a fan of MLP:FiM, it's not something I'm putting on my body forever. Yes, tattoos can more or less be 'removed' these days, but that's more money and effort than it's worth, when simply making a wiser long-term decision is the better route for your wallet and time.

If I were to ever get a tattoo, the one and only thing it would be, would be the Cancer astrology symbol, seeing as it's my symbol and fits me to a T. Probably on my side somewhere or encircling my belly button. That's something you won't regret even in old age, because it's not something you ever outgrow. Tattoos about who you are as an individual are always better than tattoos for interests and media, imo. Power to you for folks who like to get tattoos of things they enjoy, that's great, but it's not for me :3

Wearing one right now :D...okay it's not permanent or anything...I did it to support a movement in school. What movement exactly? Well, a tattoo movement by a friend of mine. You know, send the message out that tattoos are just art and should be respected as such. Oh, and it's Luna's cutie mark.

Like Frozen? So do I. Check out the fanart thread: http://mlpforums.com/topic/91305-frozen-fanart-thread/#entry2409999

If I ever get a tatoo (whcih is hightly unprobable) it will be something realy abstract, never I would even dare to get a tatoo that is too clear in its origin (for other people, of course)

"And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music"—Friedrich Nietzsche

here's the most disturbing / touching sentence I ever read :"You have beautiful eyes" — Scootaloo's last words, The Rainbow Factory

Not a fan of being scribbling and drawing things over my body, as if it were just paper. It has been given to me, as a gift, and I'm gonna treat it as such.

And yes, a tatoo is a rather effective form of expression If you happen to find yourself struggling in a way you can't show yourself the way you're, and believe me, most human beings have issues when it comes to express themselves and such, seems like a single word isn't enough for them. It's a lack soul sensitivity due to their own existence has recently begun, which also make "their" ways a little bit too much excessives, which I can understand by the way.

So, I get the meaning behind a tattoo, but I would never get myself one.

Apologies for my english. It isn't my first language.

I just got home from getting my 9th tattoo. This one, I decided to get a MLP tattoo. The TCB stands for "Takin Care of Business." Sort of a spinoff on the symbol Elvis wore. Does anyone else here have a MLP tattoo?
