All the hard work I did to help get Lyra through is pretty much pointless now. To be fair though, I expected it, and Pinkie should win over a background pony. I voted for Pinkie myself.

 

Trixie vs. Sweetie Belle is the best matchup of the second round in any region IMO. Should be very closely contested. Was tough for me to choose but Sweetie Belle just edges it for me. Just watch the video.

Day 5 in Review:

 

Looks like everything turned out just as I thought it would.  Really not surprised that Scootaloo managed to top Octavia, though sadly she'll probably go down quite easily against Twilight in the Sweet 16.  Rarity and Spike, on the other hand, should be interesting.  I'm pretty sure Rarity will win that one, but still, the very match up itself is just plain intriguing.

 

Day 6 Comments

 

Derp Brigade, I apologize for my late arrival!  I was preoccupied with work from 5-11, hence my lateness, but I'm here now and ready to battle for the grey mare!!!  Sounds like Queen Holey-Plot had a bit of an early lead, but from the looks of things, Derpy is starting to pull away and is establishing a comfortable lead.  Keep it up lovers of Derpy, we must overwhelm the Changeling queen till the very end!  Don't stop, be relentless, attack, attack, ATTACK!!!  ONWARD!!! 

 

Yes, yes, swarm her minions of the derp-eyed one!!!   

 

As for the other match ups, Sweetie Belle and Pinkie Pie should end up winning quite easily, but Vinyl Scratch vs. Granny Smith should prove interesting, and honestly, I'd prefer to see Granny Smith win, she is after all a far more important and actively involved character in the show than Vinyl is.  Here's hoping ol' Granny can pull off an upset over the second most popular background pony (yeah, that's right, I said second most popular, whatcha gonna do about it?  :comeatus:).

Seriously. I like Trixie more than RD and Pinkie Pie, and about as much as I do Twilight; she and Twi are tied for the 5 spot on my list, but Sweetie Belle is #4 It was a tough choice.

 

Rarity X Spike is coming up, though, so I've heard That's going to be an EASY pick, even easier than the last Rarity match

Making me bust my flank trying to defeat Luna (one of my favorites, even more so after last week's episode) next round is cruel enough. But making me pick between her and Big Macintosh this round, on top of that?

I'm one of the few who voted for Bonbon xD  I don't get personally attached to antagonists too often, so Discord didn't have much chance with me. Had he behaved himself more in "Three's a Crowd", things might be different.

 

Though I've recently begun my travels with the Doctor, I haven't reached too far. Maybe something will shift after I finish the series x3  Apple Bloom is also my favorite CMC and a treat to watch   ......not that she needs somepony watching over her *cough* *cough*    

 

Jokes aside, I took a second before voting for Luna. She's stood out the least of the other princesses, but the latest episode brought great development. Was recently searching for art/wallpapers of the princesses, so she certainly stood out over Mr. Mac.

 

And Fluttershy v Bulk Biceps....yeah, Fluttershy wins    I love the mane 6, so not many can compete with them.

Day 6 in Review:

 

 

Well done Derp Brigade, well done, the bug never stood a chance against the might of Derpy.  Got a tough competition in the next round; we'll be going up against the perennial #2 background pony of the show (that's right Vinyl fans, I just threw down THAT gauntlet!!!), and we're going to need to throw all the support we can behind Derpy.  Gonna be a toughy, but I'm confident we'll pull it off.  Rest up for now, and prepare for the coming battle. 

 

Unsurprisingly, Sweetie Belle and Pinkie Pie easily won.  Pretty sure Pinkie will knock off Sweetie in the next round, Mane 6 always knock off CMC when you get down to it, though we'll just have to wait and see.

 

Day 7 Comments

 

Shouldn't be any surprises today.  Little disappointed that Dr. Whooves is going to lose to Apple Bloom from the looks of things, though I myself voted for AB.  Despite how much I hate voting against the Doctor, I couldn't in good conscience vote for him against AB.   Very much anticipating the inevitable Fluttershy vs. Luna match up in the next round, should be most interesting indeed.

Granny Smith got put into a home by the likes of Vinyl Scratch, and Big Macintosh is about to be banished by Luna. Two Apples down... that stings.

 

Discord and Fluttershy are both on a roll at least, and Apple Bloom is looking to avenge her fallen cousin. Justice shall be served. Take that, Doctor!
