I see myself most like Twilight: Knowledge-seeking, can get a little Obessive Complusive, and feel like I got lessons to learn about friendship and life.

of the mane six rainbow dash she's cool doesn't go all "girly" of the background, ditzy doo of course. Shes adorable reminds me of myself a lot, clumsy. Of the Cutie Mark crusaders it would be a tie between scootaloo and sweetie belle, mainly because they are the most interesting of the three.

What can I say, I am in love with miss Hooves. Derpy is everything right in what I love in a female. She is strong and noble (in her own way). A constant smile (buck you haters) and mmost of all, a mother...and don't anyone DARE throw cannon at me. What the COMMUNITY and the simple fan love for has done for her and Dinky, is more then any script.isn't that love..enough.

 

As for the mane 6, I am a huge Rarity fan. So much so my own OC, Bluejacket is rped as her older bro. (Hate all you wnat you haven't even rped with me yet!)

I have always liked Pinkie from a while back when I first started watching the show and just now started getting into Pinkamena's character. I think Pinkie Pie is a really unique character how she has one of the sweetest hearts around and is always thinking and putting others before herself. But also she has times where she is down and needs comfort as well. So her both sides of her are both unique and I can relate to her character quite a bit. 

 

I have always said it would be really awesome to have a friend like her in real life :3 that is why i like Pinkie so much

I had to revote on this.

 

I still kept the first vote untouched -- Applejack. I'd write a legitimate reason why I love her, but I'm lazy as hell and I cannot find my copypasta.

The second vote was Trixie, but I changed it. I don't know what was over me back then... Oh wait, I know, I haven't met the wonderful Queen Chrysalis. I mean, damn, Cheeselegs is really awesome. While she's quite rude to other non-changelings, she is like a mother (note: LIKE A MOTHER) to her subjects. The bond betwean them and her is really strong, and I like that. (pic related). Also, those holes...

 

Also...just the other day I... kind of downloaded a few pictures of her...

 

 

So, yeah. She pretty much either cast a spell on me, or it's real. Of course, I'm not the most devoted or loving fan of Chrysalis, don't get me wrong, but I love her quite a bit.

And third: I changed Lyra to Derpy. While Lyra is still awesome, Derpy.. I don't know, she's my favorite. I mean, what's not to like about her?

Best pony is, of course, Rarity. I think I always knew that, it just took me a while to realize it. But there's really no two ways about it. Rarity is best pony, the end.

I would say out of S2 E14 its between Derpy, Rainbow Dash and Apple Jack it would be tough so i would say AJ and Derpy and Rainbow Dash as my favorite ponies

I first discovered MLP two years ago, and Fluttershy was my favourite from the very start, and for a long time, but about three weeks ago, things changed.
Her personality at first was irresistable and apocalyptically cute, but as time went on, and her character was explored more, she slowly turned into a paranoid schizophrenic, and her timidness started to get *really* grating to the point, where I was actually cringing at her antics in a few places.

Recently, Rainbow Dash -the pony, whom I despised at the beginning- dethroned Fluttershy as my favourite, with Applejack following in her wake shortly thereafter.
So now, Fluttershy is my fourth favourite, behind RD, AJ, and Derpy. 

Funny how the world works.

Honestly, even though she's not my top pick of the Mane 6, Twilight would be the character I relate to the most, being a nerd, bookworm, introverted and person who at times has trouble interacting with others initially myself. Fluttershy is also someone is also relate to, albeit less so.

 

To cut to the chase though, my top Mane 6 character is Applejack. Why? She has a boatload of flaws, her excessive protectiveness at times, xenophobia, stubbornness and pride for one. Yet despite them she is often willing to go outside her comfort zone to help others. Aside from that I must respect that she's a very open and sincere person, she may be blunt and harsh at times, but she's always willing to help others and be a decent person. Her and her element being orange (which makes its resemble a peach rather than an apple ironically) and my favorite being orange are just additional convenient coincidences.

 

As for best villain? Well Discord duh. He's basically The Joker, minus the murder and bloodlust.

 

 

Also Fluttershy converting him into an ally and hence "good guy" helps a lot. Brownie points to Fluttershy on that. I guess Chrysalis would be my 2nd top villain choice.

That is exactly what I always point out when people say that Applejack is the "boring one" or is "too perfect" it is fair to say that she has fewer flaws than the other mane 6 but fewer does not equal zero. I suppose what has made Applejack my favorite pony since I started watching (though she now has Luna and Twilight to keep her company) is that she is one pony that is the most honest and true both to her friends as well as herself. I like people or in this case ponies who are real and genuine and Applejack shows that even less zany characters if written well can be very deep and compelling characters with interesting stories to tell.

Fluttershy is my 2nd favourite because she is sweet and cute.

I picked Sweetiebell because I love her voice and she is very cute.

I'm pretty sure that I already voted on this but, ah well.

 

I prefer not to choose favourites because in real life choosing a favourite usually leaves anyone else feeling slightly hurt and I sort of carried that trait into fictional works even though I can't hurt the feelings of a fictional character. But I digress from the question at hand.

 

Well my favourite pony out of the Mane Six used to be Rainbow Dash but more recently, mostly due to a fan-fic I read, Fluttershy has become my favourite out of the Mane Six.

 

My favourite secondary character is also my favourite overall character, Princess Luna. I don't know what it is about her that makes her my favourite but she just is. It just everything about her in general, the way she's styled in the show, her story and many other traits that just really make her stand out to me.

 

Lastly, my favourite background pony is Doctor Whooves. I'm already a big fan of Doctor Who so it was rather inevitable that Doctor Whooves became my favourite background character. I don't really know much about any of the background characters so Doctor Whooves got a leg up seeing as I'm a fan of Doctor Who.

Well ima go with Rainbow Dash for best main pony. I have played soccer for a long time, and she seems like my kind of pony.

 

As for other characters, Granny Smith always reminded me of my own grandmother, so she wins that list. On the other list, DJ PON3 and Dr Whooves tie for me. I am a pretty big Dr Who fan, and I love Daft Punk and the like, so ... yeah.

I just can't decide a favorite in the mane six!
I feel I can relate to both Twilight Sparkle, Applejack and Rarity.
Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy is also quite lovable,
but there is something about the three I mentioned first that really gets me.

 

I think it is kind of unfair that one only get to choose one favorite of the mane six,

but can still choose as many side characters and background ponies as one would like :I

My favorite is still Twilight. Her evolution throughout the series is what I really like about her the most. How she goes from the self-absorbed student who thinks she knows everything to a very humble, wise and incredibly supportive lead is the reason why I find her the best of them. Very close to her is Rainbow Dash for similar reasons, for despite her outward arrogance, there's a really soft side to her and she's definitely showed to have learned to differentiate between what's right and wrong.

Applejack is a favorite of mine. Even if being calm and collected makes her a challenging character to make a story with.

Princess Luna - hands down the best pony ^{because in her I see myself}.

Sweetie Bell - for being adorably squeaky.

Fancy Pants - the almost perfect noble in my eyes.

Octavia - I'm weak to refined ponies. Rarity? Too flashy for my taste.

Echo Fleetfoot - blind *and* a Wonderbolt? Something to be amazed of.

 

And as special mention Silver Spoon. I secretly want to believe she's a jerk with a heart of gold. Or that she has more respect for elders than ponies of her age. Hey, Silver Spoon as a history geek?
