Due to how the internet and society seems to function, i think if you like MLP regardless of age you will be declared and are a brony. (More so on the internet as your age can't be determined unless you give it out). So i don't think age really matters that much

As I understand it, the target audience for MLP:FIM is girls under the age of 6. If you don't fall into that demographic you are a brony/pegasister. That is how brony was explained to me at least... But at any rate, I say anyone who is at least a teenager the watches the show would deserve that title.

I saw one guy in the Welcoming Plaza who said that he had a 2 year old son who was a brony. And that got me thinking: How old do you have to be to become a brony?

 

For guys, maybe you are a brony whatever age you are because the show is not meant for your gender?

 

But for girls, MLP is meant for little girls, so when does a girl become a brony/pegasister?

 

My guess is that if your not in the target group of the show, then you're a brony.

 

Or maybe you're always a brony/pegasister, even if you are a little girl. I don't know...

Two years of age is close to the intended age group. But, for the title brony/pegasister, the general accepted age is atleast 12.
