Water Park Or Amusement Park/Carnival?

It depends, I love them both...but hmmm...I guess I'll go Amusement Park if the lines aren't bad, specifically one with a lot of rides, I love thrills and haunted houses the most. If the lines were long, then Waterparks all the way, Bonus points if the water park has a good Wave Pool, I could play in that all day.

I adore the atmosphere of theme parks in general, but the fun factor for me is at the water parks. Regular rides are often not for me but I love water parks and their versions of pools or even a lazy river. Splashin Safari at Holiday World here in Indiana is a great water park, haven't been there in over a decade though.

I much prefer Amusement Parks, seeing as I haven't exactly had the best experiences with water parks - I slipped and hit my head hard at one a long time ago. I'm just lucky I didn't end up with a concussion. Not to mention that water parks are usually a lot more hectic, to the point where they're just very uncomfortable to be at.

Water parks. You don’t have to wait that long for the rides. However going to amusement park at night is better than going on the morning/noon.

I prefer Amusement Parks because they have the widest variety of entertainment. Water parks are fun, especially on a hot day when you can jump into some nice cool water, but I don’t always like to be so underdressed while standing body-to-body with other patrons waiting in line for the water slides. It’s fine in smaller doses, but I like more variety. Carnivals are nice too, but those rickety midway rides make me sick to my stomach; a trait that’s only exacerbated by the yummy yet barf worthy fair food. Amusement parks are more expensive but they’re worth it.
