Make A Happy List!

You may not notice life's pleasure lying right in front of you most of the time, but they are there alright. Remember that feeling you get when you do something satisfactory, or just something that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside? Happiness? :3
Simple things can have this effect on you, and eventually rub off. Here is an example of a happy list I made for myself:

 

• Stepping on fresh snow
• Puppy breath
• ​New book smell
• Suckling on an icecube
• Licking icing off a cupcake
• Newborn baby smell
• Sketching out an idea and putting it into action
• Spring flowers
• Watching the trees sway in the wind
• Adorable stuffed animals
• Cuddly, warm blankets when it's cold
• Fluffy hair :3
• Petting my cat and making her purr with glee
• My puppy's kisses and the way she loves me
• Feeding my parrot chips and fruit
• Lighting a scented candle
• Watching heart warming anime
• The feeling of tiredness (Sounds weird, but I like it...feels dreamy.)
• Blowing bubbles and trying to pop them all
• Trying to make the biggest bubble gum bubble ever
• Savoring the taste of a lollipop
• Cleaning my cluttered room
• The feeling you get when you're having an awesome day
• No homework.

These are the simple things in life that make me feel an ounce of great emotion, even stuff like eating a lollipop and trees.

• receviving a package via mail
• exiting at 6 am in the morning to go in ambulance service (i'm a paramedic) and see the dawn with its beautifull colors and the breeze moving your suit
• getting thanked by a person even if you didn't do much
• getting hugged by the said person while you were in service
• knowing you saved a life
• working at home and your cat rubs against you, then sits near your face preventing you from working because he needs cuddles (as well as you)
• the light and personal smelll from the neck of a friend you are hugging after 5 years of not be able to see each other because he was in the army
• yesterday, a friend of mine woke up from coma after 2 years... heraing the news and hearing his mother crying of joy on the phone

• The smell of rain and the sound of thunder
• Thick grass in between my toes (yes, it may sound weird but I like it)
• Walking in my house and it feel reeeeeeally warm after I've been out in the cold
• Driving around with the windows down and the sunroof open on a warm afternoon
• Milkshakes
• Cuteness induced heart attacks
• When this girl I'm talking to sends me a picture of herself asking if her hair looks alright
• Also, pretty hair.
• Doing well on an exam I studied hard for
• An open road
• Seeing new places
• Stargazing. Looking at the endless expanse of the universe does a spectacular job of making me feel small. The good kind of small. Not the "tiny and insignificant" small. But the "puts things in perspective" type of small"

When I get up early and am able to see the sun rising, for instance right now, my garden just looks amazing!

 

Getting home, and being greeted by my dog making happy sounds and trying to get to lick my face even though when standing on her hind legs she doesn't get higher than my knees XD

 

Knowing you just made a friend happy and made his/her life better

 

Getting some awesome reactions on status updates or topics on these very forums

 

When I get home after a really long day of working and sporting, and finally being able to shower, owh heck I love that clean after shower feeling ^^

 

Satisfied feeling after you did some hard work, finally getting that thing done you wanted to do in a while.

 

And lastly making a new friend ^^ I love making new friends!
