What is your height and weight?

5'11'', which is roughly 180 centimeters for the REST OF THE WORLD who uses metric.  :okiedokielokie: I haven't forgiven you America

I'm 165 lbs, which is kind of chunky if you ask me but I don't care enough yet to start working out. I'm always that chick wearing heels though because nothing strikes fear into the hearts of men like standing up from behind a table and looking them straight in the eye. ^-^

5'11 145 lbs.  :) I've weighed this much for the past seven years~ I have a high metabolism. :3

Isn't it nice having a high metabolism? You can eat whatever you want and not gain a whole lot.

5'8 and 135LBS. I used to weigh 165, which is still healthy, but not flattering.

You would never believe this one simple trick this woman from (insert the town your ISP does its bill collection) found to drop 30 pounds in 4 months! (sorry, those ads are so asinine, and everywhere... Ugh) ;)

I'm sorry you feel this way. Sometimes I feel like I'm too skinny. Honestly, being skinny has it's disadvantages and I kinda want more meat on these bones. Hope you have a great day! *hugs*

Apparently this is a repost. May have changed since I posted on this unfamiliar thread.

I am currently 5'10-5'11, and about 125 pounds. (In other words,  pretty dang skinny. Still got some poochy fat though.) People mistakenly believe I eat hardly anything.

I'M THE HUMAN KIRBY!!! Except I've only been able to eat up to four plates at buffet lines...

Firstly I should say, I reached peak height at 6 foot tall when I was about 16 years old.

My weight has fluctuated a lot through high school and now college... When I was a junior in high school, I ended that school year weighing about 205 pounds.  Then, I started trying to eat more healthy, and I graduated high school weighing 175 pounds.  That was a crazy 30 pound drop in just one year...

Now, I should say, I work outside in the summers, or at least have worked outside in the summer for the past 5 years, but then barely do much physical activity during the school year.  My job has been working for my city, mostly road work like asphalt patching, and then a lot of mowing, too.  There were times we had to pick up fallen limbs after storms, as well.

Central Illinois summers can have some mild days, and then some raging hot days... I worked from 7am to 3:30pm, with a half hour lunch at noon.

When I started my freshman year of college, I weighed 180 pounds.  Likely the added 5 from 175 was muscle gain from working.  I stayed around 180 throughout freshman year in college.  Then somehow I managed to gain more weight in that summer after that school year.

When I started this school year (sophomore year in college), I weighed about 185 pounds... But then, my eating habits suddenly got really bad.  I dropped about 15 pounds in a matter of 3 months.  When I stepped on the scale and saw that I weighed only 170 pounds, I got worried.  Now, not that 170 pounds is a bad weight for being 6 foot tall - but, I was worried because that was too fast of a drop in weight.  I realized I wasn't eating much, and it was because of stress from schoolwork.

Then, at home over Christmas Break, having home cooked meals, and less stress... I gained too much weight, LOL... back up to 190 again!  But after coming back to college, this past month I've dropped 5 again, and so:

---

Right now I'm 6 foot, 185 pounds.

---

If I could manage to do so, my goal would be to stay between 175 and 180 pounds.  But, it's harder than you think, especially when your eating habits at home are totally different from your eating habits at college...

Many people would say that having a personal "optimal healthy weight" is good, but that if I based mine off of a BMI chart for adult males, my personal optimal range seems still a bit high to be considered "fit" or "healthy"...

I say those charts are total bullcrap.  Seriously.

Everyone has a different body type and build.  I know plenty of guys my height, with much smaller upper body structures, and on the other hand I know guys with big upper body structures than myself.  What I mean by that is: shoulder width and chest [rib cage] size.  I have moderately wider shoulders and a slightly bigger rib cage.  I have a "farmer's build," as I like to call it.  Sure, based off the charts, a 6 foot guy weighing 155-160 pounds is fine.  Not for me, lol.  175-180 is my goal, and I'm gonna try to stick to it.

Know your body.  Don't let some chart tell you what to think about your weight.
