Do bronies actually think mlp can beat anything in a fight.

Considering Twilight was pushed through a mountain and survived, I'm sure she can withstand a much weaker bullet. Heck Discord split his head in two without any problems so bullets likely won't hurt him either.

Didn't Star Wars received a massive nerf to their abilities though thanks to Disney retconning tons of lore in the expanded universe and nearly destroying it in turn? As for the rest of your info, I heartily agree.

Btw I wish to fanboy how powerful FIM verse. Can I do that?

I recall that there was some author that connected the two SW canons...but i'm not exactly sure.

and fanboy away.  ^_^

@@Steel Accord,

Actually, Pikachu can probably kill her. Electrocution is very different from magic in terms of damage.

Not really. Pikachu is pretty lowball and overrated because of the anime. Alicorn Twilight would own Pikachu easy. Now put her against a low tier legenday like Zapdos or Raiku, and shes more then likely screwed. Not even going to mention how bad the big dog legendaries would rip her a new one.

See there you go! That's my point right there!

A brony weighs the strengths and weaknesses of the Mane Six against their crossover opponent as they would any other whereas a non-brony would just Pikachu would kill Twilight on principal. (Probably through gritted teeth and in excruciating detail as to Twilight's demise, the Hater. >_>

@@Zhortac,

Oh yeah, a random Pikachu isn't strong enough. Ash's Pikachu, however, is a super Pikachu basically, see him being able to shock Onix into submission in Sinnoh and flinch Arceus

Red's Pikachu would be a better example of one that woukd give Twi a run for her money. Ash's is very deus ex machina driven. One moment he can stomp ass, then the next he's getting tossed around like a rag doll.

@@Zhortac,

I don't remember Red's Pikachu doing anything impressive

And while Ash's Pikachu seems to reset level every two minutes, during the finals of each saga, he typically powers up immensely. Let's put it this way

Ash's Pikachu in finales and movies=Powerful as Hell

Ash's Pikachu in the beginning of sagas=Garbage

Thats what I mean about Ash's Pikachu lol. Red's is harder to really understand because of the 3 or 4 continuities for the manga, and the fact his Charizard is damn close to godtier...so Pikachu gets overshadowed.

Bronies overestimate their characters. A LOT. Hearing Discord defeating both SUPERMAN and GOKU is hilarious.

They also overestimate their overrated show.

This is one of my favorite scenes in DBZ. This should vaporize many ponies and other MLP characters, it would be awesome to see especially in the villains. If Buu can be defeated by a saiyan and he was magical as well as other DBZ characters that are also magic that were eventually defeated in DBZ I see no way MLP characters can survive. Especially against  SS Trunks or Gohan, Bills, and SSG Goku.

This should also do the trick if they were hit unsuspectingly. Those are some big guns.

Not even worth it.

In an MLP vs DBZ battle, everybody loses.

@,

Except for any of the BOG characters and most GT characters.

There is no question about it. MLP is doomed against mid-tier powerful beings from Anime like Naruto and beyond that level, ponies get stomped rather easily.

Seriously, this children's show has featless characters, Mostly are useless against great warriors, and even dumb characters from other franchises would destroy them with ease.

Only to those who choose not to examine the feats being given, or dismiss them due to illogical conclusions or the general nature of the show.

Not an attack on you, by the way, just a general observation. It happens too much for my tastes.

Ugh... Those "feats" people always bring up are not useful in combat. Because they don't really show nothing about the sheer destructive power a character has.

Celestia controlling the Sun and the Moon means nothing, she's not able to destroy any of them or has enough powerful psychic abilities to throw other enemies physically stronger into the Moon.

Do MLP magic fields even work like that?

Regardless, Celestia's only been put up against people vastly stronger than her, and plot keeps her out of everything else. Saying she can't destroy people stronger than her is more of a general observation, not a condemnation.

The only moment I can think where destructive power was shown was in the S4 finale, while Tirek and Twi fought.

They barely destroyed a mountain. And that's the power of almost all of Equestria, 4 Alicorns, and the Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony.

Crossover fights are dumb, they're just popularity contests. Most people are just going to pick the character the like the most. Nobody can prove anything in these fights, both parties talk about how great there favorite characters are at each other. It results in nothing.

Lack of collateral is not a sign of destructive power, especially in Equestria, where magic doesn't tend to cause it. It's logical; writers don't want Ponyville wiped off the face of the earth.

Also disregards the princesses moving celestial bodies with their own magic, and Rainbow Dash's island sized Sonic Rainboom, which still parted clouds miles from the source blast.

It shouldn't have to be that way...

  • 2 weeks later...

Here's how i see it. all forces of one side vs the other. the world of mlp vs (place world of opposing characters here) in a location that it doesn't matter what happens to it and no rules other than only being able to use the abilities they have. nearly everytime i'll put my money on mlp because nukes. In the real world any country even of it's a third world country can oppose any other if it has nukes. It's a cheap move but there's no one to stop them from using it. so let's go bigger. In halo there are the halos. that would certainly make for a for sure victory right? no. because we have beings in mlp who can control celestial bodies and bend the universe to their will. even cheaper than using nukes but none the less still valid. now individually and depending on location i would expect very different outcomes.
