Sleeping alone

I have never slept with another pony in the bed with me ever, i've been a solo sleeper all my life. This thread sheds to light some of my biggest fears about opening myself up romantically though, I think after experiencing something like love for the first time and losing it would make me never be the same again.

Heh, interesting thread though

Sleeping alone DOES have its perks, I mean, no one hogging the bed, no snoring (if they snore), and no possibility of someone waking you up for absolutely no reason in the middle of the night.

But...I still sometimes wonder how nice it must be to wake up next to a special person and see them still sleeping, and snuggle up against them....heh, sorry I'm just getting carried away.

It would be an absolute nightmare to sleep in the same bed as me. I require light and noise to be able to sleep. That includes the ceiling fan being on no matter what temperature it is. lol. I also have to get up to go to the bathroom sometime on most nights. =/ I also get up around 6:30 am.

Well, most of the time I prefer sleeping alone. I generally have issues sleeping in the same bed as someone else. :yeahno: Whether they try to hog the bed, they snore really loud, or whatever... I personally kind of drool a little bit in my sleep. :P

But the time I got to sleep with my boyfriend in the same bed... Although it was a bit uncomfortable at times because he's kind of big and he snores pretty loudly... I actually liked sleeping with him and I wish I could have stayed in that bed for longer! I could never have dreamed that I could feel so comfortable in the same bed with somebody I had hardly seen in real life before that point... Sure I was a little anxious about it, but normally I wouldn't be able to sleep and I slept a good few hours :)

Living in a big family, that's quite impossible. I share a room with my sister, which I don't mind since we get along.

I mean, I'm single, so I've always slept by myself. Even if I wasn't though, I imagine it'd be pretty hard to sleep with someone, at least at first. Everyone has their own weird little thing they do when they're sleeping, whether it's snoring, drooling, or... I dunno, whatever.

I personally toss and turn a lot, so that'd be my problem. :P

I like sleeping alone. I suppose I might want to share a bed once I'm married, but who knows when that will happen. :P I have occasionally had to share a bed with one of my brothers on road trips, and that is something I have no desire to repeat. ^_^

Sometimes I miss a girl I used to sleep with when we were together... although it's hard one must move on to survive and learn to be alone

I hate being alone. As long as I have someone in a discord call with me I'm okay for the most part. Having someone actually there irl is definitely better, though.

It's rather the other way around for me... I got far less sleep when my ex was staying over. And not for the obvious reason (which is staying up all night talking about our goals and dreams in life, of course... why, what were you thinking? ;) ) Just not used to sharing my space, so it wasn't easy to fall asleep. Should have bought a bigger bed, I guess.

Unluckily, I get great sleep these days...

I do, and hell thats why i'm making this thread at 2 am!

Aye, it's hard to sleep alone again after you parted ways with one you used to love once. But moving on means you have grown up.

I've always had trouble sleeping in the same bed as friends and relatives (which is why I haven't done it in over ten years), but sleeping with a loved one seems wonderful. It's basically eight straight hours of cuddling, and cuddling is the best
