  1. Topaz awoke, and got downstairs. He ate a simple breakfast of some fruit and mead, and decided he would wait for those other ponies to get down here. His wounds were healing decently, and he could tell they would heal fine. He figured he would enjoy this time he had before he set off.
  2. It was getting late, and Topaz had no where else to go, so he got a room at the tavern. He finished off his mead, and headed upstairs. "Times like this make me wish Red Mountain had never erupted, maybe i'd still be in mare-o-wind." he thought. "But maybe this will go through, and I won't have to worry about money for a while."
  3. There's no real reason for it to be a special. What else could they have introduced to that episode that they didn't cover? The hour-longs are usually reserved for those with a very long plot, which have a lot to introduce to the viewers, such a s new villains, or new concepts. Such as Discord and the Changelings, both episodes introduces new antagonists, and new concepts. This episode just re-introduced a villain from before, and had nothing more to be said.(Sorry if I became I little redundant)
  4. "You know, if you're looking for treasure, you might not want to blurt it out to everyone in the bar." said Topaz. Especially not those low on coin and with nothing to lose." Topaz looked towards the lavender pony. "You don't look that tough, what's to stop a falmer from eating you for dinner, 'cept the fact that you don't have much meat on ya?' Tell ya what, i'm going with you, and I'm betting on the fact that you can't stop me, even with my wounds." Topaz hoped he could back up these words if he needed to, trying his best to talk tough.
  5. And he has shades, which make him 20% cooler. (That's just a fact, shades make everything cooler.)
  6. Topaz kept his head down low, in case anyone recognized him, which he doubted, but couldn't be too cautious. He just wanted to eat his meal, and find some work. Somehow he knew it wasn't going to be that simple though. But he would worry about those things when they came, trying his best to enjoy the relative peace in the tavern.
  7. (OOC: Sorry, for some reason the forums stopped working for me for a while) Topaz awoke in the cave, but didn't get much sleep to begin with. His wound was as bad as ever, but he would manage. He winced, preparing for what he was about to do. He switched the flames to his other hoof, and held it to the gash in his left hoof. He bit onto his blade, handle, and cauterized the wound, screaming out in pain. But the wound closed, and would heal with time. He wished he could say the same for the scar across his face. He headed outside of the cave, and checked his map. He hadn't headed far from Windehlm,so he used that as a reference point for his location. He walked slowly out of the cave, and headed towards Whitetrot, being the closest city nearby. He saw a small lake nearby, and looked at the wound on his face. It was straight across his forehead, but his mane hid most of it. The good news is, it stopped bleeding. His mane was torn and tattered, and he tried his best to wash up in the lake before heading down the trail. Topaz continued down the road, and saw Whitetrot off in the distance. He approached the gates, and was pleasantly surprised. No drunkards shouting obscenities at him, no slums full of the poor. He was liking this place much better that Windhelm. But he had learned not to trust Skyrim. He headed into a tavern nearby, "The Bannered Mare", to get some food, as he never got to finish his meal from last night, with all the violence, and was quite hungry.
  8. The drunken pony dropped the mare, and turned his attention to Topaz. "Ohoh! looks like one of 'em has some fight left in 'im!" said the first pony. "We'll make sure you've got none left soon." chimed in the second. Topaz lunged at the first pony, but only left a small cut on him. He had mostly slipped out of the way, and came down with his hoof on Topaz's neck as he lunged by. He was sent into the wall. The second charged at Topaz, who quickly turned around to face him. The air in front of Topaz was set ablaze, along with the pony caught inside it. He let out a scream of pain, and flailed in pain. Topaz stood back up. "Not feeling as confident now, are you!" exclaimed Topaz. "A mage! Looks like I better extinguish that flame." said the first pony, the second still ablaze. The first charged at Topaz, and stabbed him in his spell casting hoof, blood pouring from the wound. Topaz's eyes lit up with anger, and he slashed at the pony, leaving a large scar across his chest. Topaz followed up with a stab, right into his gut. The first pony was down, propping himself up with one hoof, clutching his wound. The second pony regained composure, fell into the snow outside to put out the fire. His skin was charred, but he was still fighting. He stood up, and came at Topaz once more. Topaz lunged at him, but was parried. The second pony then cut across his face, barely missing his eyes. Topaz slammed into the second pony with all his weight, sending him sprawling. He stood above him, and put his left hoof directly to his face. "Die already, damn you!" Topaz exclaimed, firing flames once more, immolating the pony. He then walked over slowly to the first. "Please.. just...let me go. I'll never bother you again!" "We both know that's a lie." Topaz stuck his sword into his stomach, and cut straight across his belly, killing him. The bar mare looked up in horror at this sight. "Just...go. I won't say anything." was all she could manage to say. Topaz ran from the city, before the guards would come by. He couldn't stay here, he didn't even have time to pack up. He ran south from the city, until he was far away. He hid in the snowy forests, clutching his bloody hoof. He ripped off a chunk of his cloak, and wrapped it around the gash. He shook, from both the cold and the blood loss. He couldn't travel far like this, and found a cave nearby. He searched around inside, and it seemed rather empty, so he decided to stay here for the night.
  9. The drunken ponies approached the bar, stumbling around. Topaz recognized these two as the same drunkards who always came around here and antagonized foreigners. But they rarely did anything, more bark than bite. But this time was different. One of them walked towards Topaz, and pushed him aside. He grabbed the bartender, and held a dagger to her. "We don't like your kind around here, and yet we let you into our city. Out of the kindness of our heart. And what do you do? You give Stormcloak plans to he imperials!" he yelled. "I...have no idea what you mean." said the bar-mare, with a look of terror on her face. "We know about your kind spying on us, and you're gonna get what traitors deserve." Topaz had seen enough of this. His hoof erupted in flames, and he drew his steel from its sheathe.
  10. Topaz awoke in his tent outside Windhelm. He had arrived in Skyrim from a far away land, and was here to do trade. He saw that it was snowing already. He hated this cold weather. The sands of his home were comforting and warm, unlike this frigid wasteland. He grabbed his armor and strapped it on, and threw a cloak over it to keep him warmer. He grabbed his sword, and sheathed it. His left hoof emitted a quick flash of flame, as he prepared a flames spell. He headed into the city gates, and headed towards the markets. As he passed by a tavern, some drunken ponies approached him, mumbling various obscenities. Topaz just kept his head down, and kept walking. He headed to the market center, and bartered various baubles and trinkets. He made a very paltry sum, but it was enough to get him by. Most ponies in this city wouldn't buy from a foreigner, so he had very little business. He dealt with this everyday, it was nothing new. After a few hours, he closed up, and headed to the grey quarter. This slum was one place where he could feel accepted. He didn't want to stay in Windhelm, but he couldn't afford to leave. When he reached the grey quarter, he entered the tavern, where he usually got his meals, and his mead. The room was dark and dirty, but it was the closest thing he had to a home. He ordered a mead, when two of the drunken ponies he had seen from before entered.
  11. Honestly, Coconeru is a big inspiration for me, as I like to sing, and I really started to get into singing after watching his videos.
  12. Usually i'm very biased against HiE, as they all seem the same. But this does seem to have some potential, and the art style is quite good. Too early to tell on how the story goes. But for now, i'll say it's good, and thats coming from somepony who hates HiE.
  13. I do some writing and singing, but I'm wondering how a lot of these artists keep it going, I always run out of things to write/sing very quickly. Any ideas?
  14. Played 7(Forgot it's japanese name) Sacred stones, path of radiance, radiant dawn, shadow dragon, and Thracia 776 (that one on Rom) It's one of my fav series, and i can't wait for the next to be released. Yes! The Megaman one is epic! That and Castlevania are prob my favorite from the Nintendo, and some of my favorites to this day. Never played DKC 2, only the first, so I wasn't familiar with that track, but it's good as well.
  15. Known for being an Alcoholic. (It's berry punch, you asked for it.)
  16. I have a tendency to sing songs from the show, and while I am completely open 'bout being a brony, and don't care who knows, I had once kept on singing "The Perfect Stallion" in public without realizing. There are donkeys in MLP though(Usually Cranky Doodle ones), and if she doesn't watch it, maybe she just saw that he was all brown, as opposed to the colorful shades of usual ponies, and assumed he was plain because he was a donkey.
  17. I wear my brony on my sleeve! Literally, in that I wear pony merch, or Gamegrumps stuff when I'm not wearing that. I have an Applejack toy hanging from either my laptop bag, or when i'm not carrying that, those little loops on jeans. (Except where it would be dangerous for her, I don't want her getting lost and or ponynapped.) Edit: I also sing songs from the show or fandom often, or at least hum or tap it where singing is not appreciated.
  18. Probably my favorite genre. Dancing mad (Distant worlds, not the 16-bit original) is glorious as an orchestral piece, and I've heard it was great live. (I'm so jelly of those who got to see it, jellier than jelly pony.) While all orchestral pieces seem to tell a story, this one in particular strikes me. You can feel the very essence of Kefka and his madness radiating off of this piece. Other orchestrals have a similar effect, I drift off and imagine epic scenes. (Usually containing OC's of mine, ponies or otherwise.)
  19. For me, Discord is the most intimidating.. He's a threat mentally, rather than just a physical foe like Nightmare moon, Sombra, or Chrysalis. Also because he seems to be taking fun and pleasure out of causing this chaos, like he doesn't seem to be trying to be hostile. Imagine what he could have done if he was chaotic evil, rather than just chaotic neutral! As for bullies, Silver Spoon/Diamond Tiara, if only because Babs turned out to be bullied, and Gilda was partially doing it because she didn't want to lose Rainbow as a friend, IMO. Edit: Had not thought of Flim and Flam, and they are probably the worst bullies, but not the worst antagonist. If only because they had the other ponies in town behind them, and threatened to kick the family out of business, which seems much more threatening than harmful words/teasing, which can be bad too, but not on the same level.
  20. WE ARE MOST PLEASED TO BE THE FAVORITE PRINCESS OF THE PEOPLE OF MLP FORUMS! (for now anyway, the poll may change in the future)
  21. Pros: Big Adventure! Tons of Fun! (The rest of the intro doesn't really relate.) AHPPLES! OH MY CELESTIA THE AHPPLES! I'm sure being a human wouldn't be too bad, they seem to adapt well to other strange creatures.
  22. Fargo, for no other reason than that it was on. I liked it, but I had seen it multiple times before, so it's not like I didn't know I would.
  23. Not really, seeing as this pairing is purely fanon and not part of the show, and that I was never a big fan of the two to begin with. Edit: looks like Lyra is getting competition for sitting oddly.
  24. If you mean the fact that her name is relevant to her creating tricks, then I did know that. If Trick-C is supposed to mean something else, do tell.
