    music Babymetal

I am both intrigued, and disturbed at the notion of idol metal; not really. This is actually quite enjoyable if you're able to wrap your head around the idea, and the fact that it caught on so quickly is gotta be a testament to something. Can't say I'm a fan, but I'll be damned if It's not catchy...

    music Folk Music

By far has to be one of the more successful folk musicians to come from Latin America in the past decade or so, Lila Downs. Amazingly talented; it's just a bit sad that she doesn't receive more recognition in Mexico. Llorando se fue, perhaps you'll recognize this one? y'know, on account of how many times it's been covered by artist from other music genres since the 80's. http://youtu.be/mT4T5GyGqRQ In retrospect, we could all use a bit more of folk music.
  3. What most of us seem to forget is that at worst, you're gonna only get two Equestria Girls film this year. Compared to what? the 24 episodes that form the current season; not to mention season 5, that's over 500 minutes of pony. Appreciate what you're given guys, cuz' one day you might not have neither...
  4. Hell, for being a show that was meant to be nothing more than a selling point for toys; it's doing a far lot better than some of the other stuff going on tv right now. As for the fandom, can't really say it's matured is all I can say...
  5. Doraemon! and wow, for an anime that is that old; I'm actually surprised it's still relevant enough to merit a yearly film.
  6. Original Dragon Ball, along with some Saint Seiya to top it off; maybe Sailor Moon too, if you count how my sister made us watch that everyday after school. Sorry Kamehameha, but you're second to the Pegasus Meteor Fist.
  7. Why does Cadaveria keep replaying in my head? I don't even like goth music.
  8. It's only been during the past 30 years that my parents indigenous community in Mexico started to get some of those things we consider essential. Plumbling, electricity, and a school; looking back, those two years I lived in a shack in the mountains were actually really amazing. On the other hand, some of those older customs they had are starting to die; mostly because of the money that started flowing into that particular region.
  9. 5'3" and weighing anywhere between 125-139, see that's not a problem per say; if it wasn't because my body decided to apparently never finish puberty. Damn, genes can be a bitch sometimes...
  10. Two of my favorite mecha anime themes of all time, for your enjoyment. Deja vu much...?
  11. Eccentric, that seems about right... It's just that the place is so tripy, that you'd think it's like living in an LSD trip 24/7. Sure, it's got a bad rep for all the bad reasons but most of those are skin deep once you get to know the place.
  12. I probably spend the most time trying to get hands to actually resemble something natural, but the results always leave something to be desired. I'm getting there though, I'm getting there...
  13. The Big O outro for sure, it's just so exceptionally serene that it just makes you feel a bit down when they finally reach the climax of the story. Is it cheating if Jojo's used an actual prog rock song as it's ending theme? I don't even care, it just shows how great that anime is.
  14. Avatar: The Last Airbender and My Life as a Teenage Robot, proof that animation didn't die after the 90's. Now if Nickelodeon could fund more of that and less of, ugh...Sanjay and Craig.
  15. I was finally able to get to Fallout: New Vegas and actually finishing a playthrough, I've never felt so accomplished before. Now, maybe I'll go for the hardcore mode...
  16. The original Playstation,PSone,PSX... Whatever people were calling it back in the day, doesn't really matter, the only thing you had to know is that the large majority of games in it's library were pure awesomeness.
  17. I simply can't wait for some of those Neptunia spin-off's, but I'd be lying if I told you those were my most anticipated game of the year. Nah, that'd be Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle... http://youtu.be/IYhc7NpIQNg It's been a couple of years since I pre-ordered a game, but this is totally worth it.
  18. Magic Knight Rayerath? or however you spell that. If Clamp knew how to do one thing, it was creating some of the most interesting Mahou shoujo anime. http://youtu.be/LAv1SSYXpHg Saber Marionette J! Oh, man those retro anime intro's are so freaking funky http://youtu.be/D-o4ySpETOg
  19. Valkyria Chronicles, simply put; it was one of the most innovative Jrpg's of the last console generation. Shame that Sega couldn't see how utterly innovative that title was in the endless ocean of rpg's. Or Onimusha,Valkyrie Profile, Legend of Dragoon,Tomba, C&C:RA or Darkstalkers. I'll take any of those...
  20. Too much Fallout, not enough sleep...

  21. Oh, all the guys in my 6th grade class loved watching CardCaptors Sakura. No one would admit to it, but we all did... http://youtu.be/oDX5uWdr6sg You've defininitely got some UFO on my Big O, cool? cool!
  22. Squirrel Girl, because everybody loves the unsuspectful alpha with the control over everything squirrel. Oh, god it kills me that she wasn't in Marvel vs Capcom; can you imagine that? Amazing, I tell you. Oh! bonus points for being voiced by Tara Strong on those rare ocassions...
  23. I like Tekken, I mean it wouldn't be my first choice when it comes to fighting games but I can't denny that it's online community might be the best one. I'm still struggling with TTT2, but the damn thing is way too much fun for my own sake.
  24. I don't believe death should be something you should dread or fear, on the contraire; embrace the moment where you shall be freed from your carnal torment and into the hands of eternal peace. As long as one has lived a fulfilling life, than the moment should be gladly accepted... “The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.” -Mark Twain
