Do You Support Twilicorn?
Justin replied to ~Master~ Button Mash's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I'm surprised at the large amount of "no's" here. For once, I definitely support it - it really gives the show a whole new dynamic and direction, as Twi finally uncovers her destiny. I mean, that is the whole of her coming to Ponyville and having all those wild adventures, no? Now all we need are episodes that will soon uncover other destinies of the mane 6, such as Dash being a Wonderbolt and Rarity being Canterlot famous.- 1,021 replies

God, I've played this quite a lot in school when I get bored. It is rather mind blowing once you start thinking of obscure characters and Akinator gets it right, such a book characters or hockey players. It is a fun little toy to mess around with, and especially see all the possibilities.

The Dumb Things We Believed As Children!
Justin replied to CinemaBrony's topic in General Discussion
When my mom had to get surgery for her... eh... waste... building up in her stomach and not coming out, for a rather long while, I actually believed that your... poop... comes out of your... well, stomach. After her surgery, a few years or months later, the same situation occurred again, only this time, I saw my mom in the hospital with two long tubes connecting her nose to some long metal pole thing. That's when I believed that you could also poop through your nose. Yeah. I was sort of a dumbass back then. -
How many pony pictures do you have? (be honest)
Justin replied to TailsIsNotAlone's topic in Sugarcube Corner
Not counting all my reaction images involving MLP, I'd say a good ~50. Most of them are used for avatars or signature placeholders - the rest are just little images or comics that I just really liked, which deserved a save. If you count all the reaction images and placeholder album covers for MLP fanmade songs that don't have an automatic cover for it, I'd rack up around ~75 then. -
I think I may have to go to pony rehab......
Justin replied to Tia Is Best Pony's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I honestly think you're not alone. People treat MLP as a religion nowadays, and to an extent where it is not at all good for you. Keep first things first, that's for sure. Sort of like gaming - tone down your habits, but stay true to your obsession. Twilight would be very disappointed in you if you keep doing that. -
If I don't get my monthly barbecue and egg roll, then I'd cry. Can never get enough of them. Salsa and warm, soft cookies definitely take the runner up positions - as salsa used to be my number one.

Dinner. Always save best for last, right? Besides, dinner can literally be anything nowadays - fanciest meal of your life to leftovers from breakfast.

What do you usually wear in public?
Justin replied to Harmonic Revelations's topic in General Discussion
Does it count as casual or formal if I often wear a tuxedo shirt? Anyways, I do the good ol' fashioned pants, jacket, and shirt sort of ordeal. I don't have many shirts, but what I have already is fine enough for me. In fact, the designs are really cool. -
I'd probably burst into flames if I went a day without my iPod. One thing I love about music is how it plays with your emotions. Classical music gets you focused and calm, while electro can get you moving to an addicting beat. The anthropology behind it is rather astounding interesting - the way humans behave and interact on the sole cause of music has always amazed me.

B- in chemistry, sophomore year, semester one. God forbid that'll happen again, but I still absolutely hated that class and the teacher. Not only that, but it was my zero period class, meaning my chemistry class was at 6:50 AM. So with sleep deprivation, lack of good teaching, and overall hard subject, I was bound to get some bad grade. Turns out, not going to the bathroom grants you 20 extra credit points, thankfully.

mega thread Your favourite pony and why?
Justin replied to Twilight Sparkle ✨'s topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
When I first got into the show, Applebloom was my favorite, reason being I related to how much she really wants to find her true talent. As I become more into the show, I liked Pinkie more for her zany and eccentric character. Soon, I was leaning more to Applejack because hey, I love an underdog character and AJ really appealed to me in season two. Octavia became my first favorite background pony, but the spotlight was taken by Lyra after reading shortskirtandexplosion's Background Pony. So, in short, I still like all the ponies I've listed. But if anything, my list would be: 1. AJ 2. Lyra 3. Pinkie 4. Octavia 5. Applebloom Runner ups would definitely be the rest of the Mane 6 and Vinyl. -
THE worst pain you have ever experienced
Justin replied to ~Sugar Sprinkles~'s topic in General Discussion
I remember in second grade, there was a small curb that separated the playground to the grass. I was bored and by myself, so I decided to jump from curb to grass with one foot while moving forward. The playground's ground is made off of wood chips, and well, you can guess what happens next. Unluckily, I fall face down onto the wood chip end of the curb. Right on my face. More specifically, my mouth. I got up with wood chips scattered across my face and body, and as I looked down on them, there was a lot of blood from it. Apparently, my lips was the reason my fall didn't impact the rest of my face so hard, so all that blood came from there, which severely cut my lips in many ways. I ran rather calmly to my school's vice principal who was watching the students during recess that day, and since I couldn't cry, talk, or scream due to how bloody my lips were to speak, all I had to do was show my face for the vice principal to realize the situation. Needless to say, the rest of the day was a doozy. I could, however, remember the fact that when I was back in class, all of the students were around me wanting to see the damage of my lips. -
Personally, I've been on one short cruise in Hawaii - lasted about 4-8 hours, since it was only going frm island to island. Because of that, the boat wasn't enormous or fancy - if anything, it was just like a giant, wide airplane. It had rows of airplane-like seats, or the choice of seats with couches and tables. It had a restaurant, an arcade, and a children's play room. Overall, I enjoyed it - spend so long beating high scores in the arcade, yet also spent so long laying down seasick. I would probably go on a real cruise depending on certain factors such as affordability, the company, and reliability. All I'm hearing on the news these days are cruise ships having major problems, yet also seeing how wonderful other cruises are too. I'm torn on the matter, really.

As a student who takes many high level classes, backpacks are practically essential to me. Every day, I carry around three big notebooks, one novel, one big novel, one workbook, calculators, lunch, water bottle, a study book, and the occasional textbook. It is pretty heavy, it makes me look like a turtle, and it strains my shoulders at the end of the day. But I'd prefer that than having only one shoulder strained from the day - don't wanna be leaning on one side every day.

For a moment, I thought that at one point in the new season, Twi would eventually give up her Princess powers or something in that effect. I'm still curious as to how this goes. On a personal standpoint, I hope to see a lot more adventure coming out of the new AliTwi. It is most likely not going to happen, since we still need our usual slice-of-life episodes, but I find adventure episodes really fun to me (see: Dragonshy, Return to Harmony).

I honestly don't want to hate nor love the season finale of season 3 if we're not getting the entire story. Remember - Megan said there is two more parts to it when season 4 comes out. If it is the two missing pieces to the rather incomplete-feeling finale, then I would place my opinion. Personally, Dragon Quest was my least favorite. Can't say it was the worst, but I personally just didn't like it.

What do you love about MLP and its fandom?
Justin replied to Crazy Misty's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I could go on and on about why, but quite possibly why I love it is because of character development. Often times, cartoons just have bleak characters cut and pasted throughout episodes with the same mindset each time. Here, we see that characters obviously grow, learning from mistakes and whatnot. It makes the small stories and characters more enjoyable to watch, seeing how they reach their full potential as time goes on. Plus, animation-wise, it is gorgeous. The attention to detail is astounding - practically everything moves, making the place more than just a fictional destination. The background characters are just as animated as the foreground characters, the way the manes and tails move makes the characters feel lively, and there are just small bits of detail everywhere that really make a great, positive difference. -
Katy Perry ain't that bad - her hit song "Firework" has been stuck in my head for a long time, and I ain't complaining. This also goes for many other pop artists that people seem to hate these days, the only thing I see bad about them is how they are marketed to the public.

Aside from homework and studying, I have a few things to catch up on now that I can finally sleep in on Saturdays. For starters, I still need to finish Background Pony by shortskirtsandexplosions, and have a bunch of video games to both buy and complete. Good thing Luigi Mansion: Dark Moon and Animal Crossing: New Leaf is almost on the horizon. Also: tumblr. Lots. And lots. Of tumblr.

Normally, I go by other internet aliases, but as time has gone by, I've been more comfortable with people referring to me as my first name. Feels more natural to me.

So there was something about this episode that I both loved and hated. I was honestly surprised as to how fast paced this episode was, considering most of the story was told in song. Honestly, I loved the musical episode they had with this; Danial and M.A. must have had a field day composing and writing this. It was a rather interesting episode, but for some reason, I feel as if I just can't bring myself to completely love this episode. Don't get me wrong, holy crap was it an amazing finale - much different than others. But I feel as if much more could have been done. Oh well - we still have the rumored "other two parts" season 4 will hold. The music was also nice - lots of musical-play vibes. The "What My Cutie Mark is Telling Me" and "A True, True Friend" has been stuck in my head all day, including the accompanied visuals. Overall, this season was a rather good one. Season two will remain my favorite so far, but the episodes they had for this one was rather a surprise, as we got a lot more twists such as Discord, Trixie, and others. I'm pretty stoked to see season 4 now and what they plan on doing with AliTwi, princess and all. Perhaps now that Twi has discovered her true calling, we might either see adventures of AliTwi and friends, or maybe even the other ponies rising to their destinies, such as RD and the Wonderbolts and Rarity achieving Canterlot stardom. Also, anyone else notice the choices of marathon episodes that led up to the finale? Apparently, it contained the pilot, the season starters, and some episodes such as "Winter Wrap Up" and "Magic Duel" - both mostly focused on Twi and her abilities and/or learning more and more about the wonders of friendship. Interesting. Also, did I mention I got some feels from this episode? Knowing that many of us have watched since the start, it was truly amazing to watch our beloved character rise to her destiny. It was like watching your own child do something amazing. Dang.
