    i highly doubt they would scrap all their work because of the outrage from bronies. First of all, we make up a minority in the fan base. Second of all, I doubt its up to the writers. And lastly, DHX was able to make a massive amount of teenage and adult guys like My little pony, they know what there doing and i wont love or hate twilicorn until they have earned either one through the episodes.

    sort of, i think that we will be remembered for challenging societal norms but not simply for liking MLP. We challenge what constitutes masculine behaviour and we may be remembered for that. Either way i doubt we will go down in any history books.

    dont worry about it, just write a good story. I know what its like to feel like your writing is not getting noticed. i have wrote many stories and posted them on various websites, and many of them do not get popular. I know this sounds corny as hell but you have to write from your heart. I write because i enjoy it and if it gets famous, that's a bonus.

    man, i'm sorry to her that. I know whats it like to get teased about liking mlp and it sucks. Hopefully life treats you well and you find something else which makes you happy.

    What I would like to see is an episode where discord comes back to help defeat an antagonist. Maybe celestia would send him to help but the mane6 still doesn't trust him, and the episode would revolve around them learning to trust him and ultimately defeating the villain.

    I think they would introduce a new character for an episode like this. Something just tells me that they are not going to directly refer to scootaloo as disabled.

    I highly doubt that we will get a derpy centered episode. We all know what happened last time she talked, and that was only for a minute or two, an entire episode about her would probably not happen (although it would be epic). If we get a disability centered episode than it will probably be about scootaloo or it will feature a new charactor.

    there is a large amount of stupidity on both sides of the spectrum. However i feel that a lot of bronies who start flame wars like that are just trolls, not all of them, but some.

    Well, i think the fact that we argue our point less comes from bronies not bothering with trolls. Other than some troll bronies on youtube i find that most of us dont give a buck about trolls and dont shove out ideas down others throats. I am not saying that all intelligent people have to like the show, in fact some of my best friends are brilliant but dont like MLP. I'm saying that the people who post videos like the one i linked are not intelligent. intelligent people do not attempt to force feed their beliefs to others and they respect those who are different.

    i actually like the idea a lot. It could even work as part of the season 4 premier. Hopefully DHX sees this thread and uses the idea.

    My little sis could not give less of a buck about twilicorn. I dont think that she feels attached to the characters in the same way i do and the twilicorn thing dose not seem to register with her. Shes not stupid at all, but she is five and character development isn't something she seems to care about.

    i was surprised at the quality of the video, alot of fan animations i see are not that good. This is one of the few things that actually made me get misty. The voice acting and animation were amazing and the story was very good.

    has anyone actually seen an intelligent or well informed argument as to why being a brony is wrong? personally all the anti brony media i see is very uninformed or plain stupid. Most anti-brony rants i see go like this : "ermahgerd bronies are so gayyyyyyy, because they like ponies. its wrong and so gay to like ponies because it is for little girls" That's usually as much substance as these videos contain. Really, the only intelligent anti-brony thing i have seen is a review of the show, and that wasn't so much anti brony as it was that person not liking the show and giving his opinion. However, on the opposite side pro-brony arguments are usually well thought out and based on actual facts. So basically its videos like this (anti): versus videos like this (pro): Who seems better.

    just curious, but does anypony out there actually buy mlp merchandise? The only merch i am interested in are the shirts aimed are bronies. I dont buy the toys (although i would buy a derpy toy if they made them), books, etc. because i feel that those are meant for the little girls and the show is gender neutral.

    possibly, i thin its an interesting idea but it seems a little lazy on DHX's part. Also Hasbro has made it clear that merchandise and publications are not cannon, only what happens in actual episodes. so the crystal heart spell is not cannon until it is referenced or actually made into an episode.

    Haters gona Hate. But in all seriousness most anti-brony feelings stem from our social deviance. We are a group of people who say its ok to like a show meant for little girls. Haters are often so blinded by the concepts of what is normal and what is not that society shoves down their throat that they cannot understand people with different ideas. Also the few haters i have met were all pretty unintelligent and brainwashed by mainstream media and culture, so is dont worry too much about hate.

    not exactly, the term brony usually refers to anybody who watches the show and falls outside of the target demographic. So your friends aren't exactly bronies but since they follow the fan's creations they are still fans (at least in my opinion).

    I dont see why the mare do well episode gets so much hate either, its one of my favorites. and i have to agree with you on the crystal empire. while i dont hate the episode i felt it had too much filler and was paced to slowly.

    just curious, but does anypony out there have en episode they just cant stand. While i like the majority of the episodes there are two which i cant stand. The two episodes are hearts and hooves day and look before you sleep. Anypony else have episodes they didn't like.

    Personaly, my favorite show changes between Dr. Who and MLP depending on the season and how caught up i am with the episodes. i would love to hear your thoughts on the matter.

    i dont know what they were thinking. The whole twilicorn puts an expiration date on the show and Hasbro would be very foolish to kill of their biggest money maker so eagerly. There might be marketing involved but i dont understand what they want to accomplish so i cant make any educated guesses.

    well, it depends. When i first got into the show i watched five or six episodes a day, now i might re-watch an episode i liked every one and a while. However i have been watching a lot of fan videos on youtube so my time is still filled with ponies

    i cant decide, i think the fact that scoot cant fly is a part of her characterization and shouldn't be altered. But by the same token, i don't want her to be unable to fly forever. My idea is that she could hover a little more now that she is with RD but not be able to fully fly.

    first choice: derpy. Why: because its derpy hooves for crying out loud, why the buck not? But in all seriousness i would have to pick rainbow dash. However, let me make this perfectly clear, i am going off of personality not physical appearance. RD just seems like my kind of girl, shes loyal (a concept my girlfriend IRL docent seem to understand) and she is not so girly. Its not that i dont like feminine women, its just that i would prefer a girl who finds athletic and outdoorsy stuff more fun than gawking over shoes and gossiping about who's dating who.
