I would love to see MLP FiM have as long a run-time as possible. For that to really work out, though, I see the show needing to expand. Forgive the analogy, but the best one I can come up with is something akin to The Simpsons in that we have a set town(s) so maybe we could learn as much about each character and place as possible? We've seen Ponyville, Canterlot, Cloudsdale, Appleoosa, Dodge, little bit of Manehattan, and we know there's a Fillydelphia. Maybe future episodes can take us on journeys across the land of Equestria, maybe even to Zecora's hometown. The mane 6 still being the mane 6, of course, but I can see that potential of expanding - like how we have Cutie Mark Crusaders episodes - but to go further with other characters too. Also, I would really LOVE to see male ponies becoming more involved with the mane 6. I don't mean as romantic interests or anything - I want to stick to the theme that friendship is magic - but guys and girls can be friends, too. I'm thrilled we are seeing more guy ponies (I was super thrilled to see Mr. Cake involved in his babies' childcare) but I think it would really make the show wonderful to add guys as friends and see them regularly/semi-regularly like the mane 6. Friendship is magic, even across genders! My whole life, most of my closest friends have always been guys. I would like to see MLP FiM show that guys and girls can get along great as friends We've seen somewhat jerkish semi-jock guys (Cloudsdale), not-the-brightest Snips & Snails, adorable little Pip - I think it's time to see good guy ponies with great personalities and interesting flaws of their own I'd like to see better treatment of Spike, too. Maybe an episode where Twilight realizes she shouldn't be so meanish toward him like she tends to be. It's fine to poke fun and tease, but I'm not very thrilled with how Spike is treated by the ponies. I'm not saying they are downright mean, but they could be a little more considerate of him. Naturally, we should see more of Celestia and Luna. They have much fleshing out to be done that would be really interesting. I can imagine both are terribly lonely - Princess Celestia also seems sick of the Royal treatment. I'm under the impression she wishes everypony would treat her just like any other pony. What does everypony think?

I had never thought about it that way. I never would have imagined the Discord/Pinkie ship, but when I came across it I first found it funny then cute. I had perceived Discord as someone that did what he did out of nothing more than boredom but with no real evil intentions behind it. Now that you mention it, though, I see what you mean. Then I remember the words associated with him that Cheerilee deemed correct - "confusion, evil, chaos" ~ "Discord: a lack of harmony." Hmm. Congratulations, something you posted online changed someone's mind and made her think a bit deeper But if Discord weren't actually evil/representative of disharmony, I would think it a cute/unique ship ^^; Too bad he's evil and interested in disharmony

Pinkie Pie! 1)She sings 2)How she treats Gilda (I know what you're up to... great! I'm watching you like a hawk... why? Can't you watch me like a Griffon?) <3 3)She is the ultimate stalker (I mean this in as kind and non-creepy way as possible) 4)I find it hilarious when she looses her mind (poor straight haired Pinkie, but I loved that party of one! XD) 5)She is almost always completely sweet to everyone 6)Her self defined purpose in life is to make other's genuinely happy 7)Her backstory. I feel the same way about rainbows, and also that she took that first glimpse of happiness and thought "How can I make others this happy?" instead of - how can I be happy like this all the time/more often? 8)Her amazing dimension bending powers 9)She's psychic! and how she treats Twilight during Feeling Pinkie Keen - harps back on good attitude. 10)She does what needs to be done, even when no pony will believe her or even stop to listen - entire Parasprite episode - and she doesn't even hold that against them. 11)FOR-REV-VERRR! Her amazing stalking ability involved with making sure Pinkie promises are kept, and how she keeps the sanctity of a promise <3 12) "Rarity catch me!" XD XD XD Chimicherry? Cherrichanga? Chimicherry? Cherrichanga? <3 I'm tempted to re-watch all the episodes out thus far and list everything, but I'll stop here ^^;

The animation with the lyrics did really add to it for me I loved her sliding down the rail with the two fillies, and jump roping with Applebloom, and toward the end with the whole "smile smile smile - sunshine sunshine" part. I wasn't a huge fan of the rest of the episode either... My husband and I were joking about how when she first lays eyes on Cranky Doodle Donkey, that we should caption it "New Victim Targeted." I actually cheered at first for her to go after him, but then for a large part I was like, "nooooooooo! Just leave him be!" I did love her felt thinking process XD So yea... definitely my favorite song of the entire series thus far (before it was a tie with the No Fear song and Winter Wrap Up).

Let me elaborate a little more. As for why do you like the Smile song, what exactly is it about it that evokes a happy emotion or positive reaction? The music, the scenes, specific lyrics? For me, I absolutely love it because of the message. The lines that really pull at my heart are: "I'll work real hard and do my best To turn that sad frown upside down" and "There's one thing that makes me happy And makes my whole life worthwhile And that's when I talk to my friends and get them to smile." Just that someone, or somepony, would intentionally go out of his/her way to brighten the lives of others - and wanting nothing in return but a smile. The idea that this type of person could exist fills me with so much happiness and hope. What does everypony think? And if you didn't like the song, you can share why on that too. Everypony is entitled to their own opinion

I didn't really pay any mind to the older generation ponies, and I had no idea it was a TV show. One of my friends when I was 10 had a HUGE collection of ponies. She had given me one with a purple coat and pink hair. I think her name had something to do with a flower. Blossom? I don't know, I don't remember. I was never the girl that wanted a pony. I didn't even like ponies/horses. I never assumed I'd like any of this stuff. In high school my senior year, for Valentines I had bought MLP Valentines and handed them out to everyone just to be silly XD Rainbow Dash was the only name I knew. I put stickers from it on my cell phone because they were pretty and colorful, but that was the only reason. Upon being shown MLP FiM (which I was skeptical to watch in the first place but did without resistance) I was immediately hooked. Now, I love ponies!!

Fantasy adventure! Traveling all over Equestria for various... quests... that I'm not creative enough to come up with!

O.O My mind has been blown. Um, an eternity of Pinkie Pie never giving up? Or... since the Joker would smile, Pinkie would take that as "good enough" and move on?

I fell in love with MLP FiM when I was 23. I was working as a school teacher, and my husband brought it up on youtube to cheer me up (I will never work as a public school teacher in the US again!). Now I'm 24 and a fanatic My husband loves it and is my age, and I have converted many into bronies. One is a macho straight male that's 26 So, everyone I personally know that loves it are males and females in their mid 20s.

Pinkie Pie is my favorite Pony, but I wouldn't want to live with her. I like peace and quiet and to be left alone too much XD I am an introvert. So then I thought of Fluttershy, but saw Zecora as an option. I would totally be Zecora's roommate! I could learn so much! It would be a wonderful cultural exchange, and we could both respect each other's privacy and hobbies.

When I first watched MLP FiM, Applejack was my number one favorite. For most of episode 3 - The Ticket Master - she remained at the top of my favorite list. She was the only one with a decent reason to that ticket, AND she was the first to willingly give it up. But then after Twilight declares that if her friends can't go she won't either, Spike begins to get somewhat chocked up. AJ immediately turns on him. She doesn't ask, "Are you okay?" Instead she says in a very unkind voice, "Well wallop my withers Spike. Isn't that just like a boy. Can't handle the least bit of sentiment." She says this as she approaches him, glaring, while he holds his stomach somewhat hunched over. This immediately smacked her off my top favorite list. I do still technically like her, and I certainly like her better than Rarity and Rainbow Dash, but she just jumps in to be mean too quickly often making cruel generalizations on stereotypes. In the parasprite episode, she also said something mean to Pinkie Pie when Pinkie Pie was trying to make them listen. "Come on, girls, there's no reasoning with that one. She's a few apples short of a bushel." She says that right in front of Pinkie Pie! Let's not listen to what Pinkie Pie has to say, everyone. She's not smart enough. Applejack does redeem herself a little bit in some episodes, but then she also gets taken down some more pegs too. That is why Applejack did not stay my number 1 favorite, and will not be my number one favorite again. Also, all my friends say that I am easily the element of honesty - hooves down. I do have an issue with some people thinking I can be "brutally honest" though I am most certainly not mean on purpose. They say I'm a tie between honesty and kindness, but that I'm always honest even if it means I won't be perceived as kind. I can't control whether the truth offends or not. But while Applejack says what she thinks, she also adds in unnecessary mean things. Isn't that just like a boy. EXCUSE ME?! I won't quote everything I don't like about her from all episodes...

I would live in Cloudsdale, hopefully an area that would have a perfect view of Rainbows and Stars

I don't really like the Spike - Rarity ship because Rarity doesn't act like she cares for Spike much... in my opinion (please no one hurt me) she seems to kinda use him, use her flashy female stuff to get what she wants out of him. I know him giving her that heart shaped gem was sweet and VERY selfless and generous of Spike, but she only wanted it because it was pretty and valuable ("At least 20 carats! No inclusions, pristine facets") - and he only gave it up because she connived for it a little bit. She didn't care that it was going to be delicious for him. He even told her it would be a wonderful, special birthday dinner for himself. She didn't care. Then she defended it from crazy-adult-Spike, citing that a dear friend had given it to her and that was why she didn't want it stolen, but I didn't believe her. Then she stops Spike mid-word from admitting his feelings to her. I felt like that way she could continue to string him along without acknowledging out in the open his feelings. To not outright reject him would aid her in exploiting his feelings while keeping him at hoof's length in the friend zone. She praises him just enough and gives him just enough affection for him to remain full-momentum head over heels in her direction. If I were under the impression they both mutually cared for each other, then I'd be on that rated G or PG ship until Spike got old enough to be romantic without it being creepy. Or he might be old enough now considering dragon years and "baby dragon" could be the first 100 or so years of a dragon's life. If you disagree with my opinion/perspective of Rarity, then you disagree with my opinion/perspective of Rarity, and there is nothing wrong with that. Just please do not flame me. I potentially could be wrong or misjudging her.

I love MLP FiM because of how incredibly humorous it is, how PRETTY and CUTE most characters/scenes are, and how it is so creative. I love how each pony has a very distinct personality with wonderful attributes and somewhat extreme flaws. I love how it does teach real life lessons, potentially for kids to learn first time around, but reminds us adults about important things too. It is all-around amazing Such a breath of fresh air from "normal" shows on TV. I can't stand most other shows - the theme in everything else seems to be "be a little @#$%^%$@ and have no respect for authority while hating school cause you are expressing yourself and being mean/selfish/uncaring about other's plights is totally cool!" Friendship is Magic - how to get along with others and different people ftw.

I assumed that the Castle had been there, then once Luna was banished Celestia couldn't stand to be alone there anymore and so moved. Normal pony houses seem to be wooden, so everything else deteriorated with no upkeep, eventually decomposed, and the forest grew up around it. The touchy sentiments may have been why nopony would enter the Everfree Forest, then habits transcended generations into a general culture rule everyone followed without knowing, or bothering to think to ask, the specific reason why. A term I like to throw around when some things may not make much sense: PONY PHYSICS. heee Or maybe Princess Celestia used her powers to do... stuff... maybe...

I think it is one of the best songs I have ever heard. The lyrics are wonderful. Not sure what can be better than a song about the purpose of one's life is to intentionally brighten as many other's lives as possible in any way she can - and no better reward for all that hard work than a smile. "There's one thing that makes me happy and makes my whole life worthwhile, and that's when I talk to my friends and get them to smile" <3 The 'kill it with fire' option made me lol XD

My favorite Tertiary Background Pony is Rainbowshine (purple pegasis with pink mane and rainbow cutie mark)

I would probably be terrified, confused, and seek refuge in the Everfree Forest. My alicorn powers would probably keep me safe. I might eventually warily watch/spy on the other ponies from the outskirts of the forest, then upon realizing how friendly everypony is, come out of hiding. Pinkie Pie would inevitably throw me a party so that I could meet nearly everyone. I would hear of Cloudsdale and probably move there (or commute there) to work in the weather factory making rainbows!! My horn would be sooo useful adjusting to pony life since I would no longer have hands. Probably get a unicorn to teach me how to fine-tune my abilities for pratical uses. Finally, I would adjust and be a happy, normal, and productive citizen of Equestria
