  1. They would definitely be adventures, usually with a tinge of "random" or "comedic", but mostly for the sake of following the characters' adventures and fates.
  2. The wiki for the Gameloft app says that Gilda can only be gained at the Balloon Pop game at "Legendary" quality, but I still cannot find her among the rewards. Is she still here, or is she "no longer available"? My code is "997b9a4"
  3. I guess I may have forgotten that one, perhaps because MH is not as interesting as EqG or science fiction aliens.
  4. The two examples of "fictional races who are born with random hair and skin colors" that I know of are "Equestria Girls" and "Doug". Other than these, most fictional races with odd-colored bodies tend to only have the same inherited colors (or range of colors), for their respective race or species (e.g. Twileks have green or peach skin, Yondu has the blue skin of his race, instead of being born with another color). Do you know any other work of fiction, with races (especially humanoid) born with skin and hair of random colours?
  5. And I also wondered, whether did a fashion trend affect the development of Monster High, resulting in them wearing colourful boots? I do not expect them to be as fashionable as high heels, but rather a bit too "bulky" to be "slender" for the women who were fashion customers. May I have a link to find out more?
  6. I really wonder what caused the makers to use boots for the initial EqG characters, since most foot fashion that was directed towards women (as I know) usually consisted of high heels. Was it due to a fashion trend in 2013 where colourful or decorated boots have become the trend during that time?
  7. I think Star Wars and the Destiny games apply this to a certain extent, involving some kind of "magic" existing in nonetheless-futuristic worlds.
  8. It would be fun to see how will they adapt the strange bright creatures into their folklore, perhaps create new and amusing stories of their encounters with the tribes' heroes and characters, until Hasbro does something -- what will you do when the latter occurs, when Hasbro's agents arrive from their ships or aircraft? And regarding the bad side of the fandom? Perhaps they should not become fanatics.
  9. Say, you ended up on an island, where a primitive tribe takes you as their prisoner. After some incident, you either kill over overthrow their king, and the tribe's members consider you as their next ruler. How would you rule that tribe? Would you: Bring your culture to modernise the tribe, and host diplomatic relations with your home country? Preserve the tribe's culture and traditions, and also encourage them to write so they can preserve their knowledge? Preserve the tribe's culture, but gradually enact reforms to eliminate worse practices (such as slavery, cannibalism, and ritual murder) and modernise the tribe?
  10. I remember that I had posted two questions regarding alternate settings for the Equestria Girls movies, one in mediaeval Japan, and the other in ancient Greece: https://mlpforums.com/topic/101933-what-would-equestria-girls-be-like-if-no-high-school-but-kabuki-setting/ https://mlpforums.com/topic/147240-if-friendship-games-were-set-in-ancient-greece-how-would-it-be-different/ So, if you directed the Equestria Girls movies, what kind of setting would you use for the "mirror Equestria", instead of that cliche high school setting? Would it be from a historical era, or a futuristic Equestria (as an antithesis for the magical fantasy Equestria), or something else?
  11. What is wrong with Idiocracy's fanbase -- their paranoia, or them being annoying?
  12. "Idiocracy" is a science fiction movie set in a commercialised world where most people have become very unintelligent to an amusing and catastrophic extent. It involves two or three people trying to survive in that kind of world and its dirty, broken society. Due to the future society's ridiculous behaviours, I really enjoyed this movie very much. What about you -- what do you think of that movie?
  13. And yet there is the occasional or frequent art where DD gets paired with Party Favor or Braeburn.
  14. Well, which ones will be your favourites? Perhaps it is because they are so cute.
  15. It is a common fan portrayal to depict that silly skiing white horse as if he is gay, and he tends to be shipped with either one of his friends: Party Favor, or Braeburn (less often). So, I am curious about what is it about Double Diamond that made fans depict him as a gay pony: is it that he looks as cute as Braeburn, or his light voice? I think it is funny to watch.
  16. When you try to fight fire with fire, only to enjoy the resulting ruin show.
  17. In the past, bronies used to joke about comparing themselves to the Borg, such as "We are the Herd, you will be assimilated into the Herd." I wonder, considering that the human(oid)s of Equestria Girls look like aliens, I wonder what will be their equivalent of that "assimilate into the Herd" phrase? And how about their counterparts for: "Join the herd!" "Welcome to the herd!" "Love and tolerance!" I am interested on whether would they make it very high-school or fashion themed or not.
  18. Many cultures around the world use different symbols and characters to represent each of the four directions of north, south, east, and west. Perhaps it would be good to see an artwork of a compass with four characters from the show to represent the cardinal directions. Which ones would you use, and what are your reasons? And what other characters would you use for the other directions?
  19. I consider them to be irrelevant. Unless they have anything interesting, why should I spend my time on trolls? They can be as amusing the bronies that they dislike, being an irrelevant group that spends its time on hatred of bronies. "He who fights monsters must beware not to become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes back at you."
  20. I do agree with you, because even though the fandom is not as pervasive or hyperactive (or "booming" for an accurate term), it is still active. And its fanart and fans who still meet in groups is proof that the fandom is still alive ... at least perhaps for this decade. So it will make people saying that "the brony fandom is dying" irrelevant, because the fans' activities are what keeps it alive.
  21. The soundtrack of the show sounds so generic and generated (without minding alliteration), that I sometimes wonder what computer program did they use to generate their music?
