Hmm... Ok, does this sound on-target? "Welcome to the Magic Academy. Not everyone is fit to become a wizard. Are you? Study magic and complete your assignments, or face the consequences. As your knowledge increases, so to do the penalties for failure. Work with other students to complete large projects (or sabotage your classmates). Who will graduate Magi Cum Laude?"

I would suggest fleshing out the world and figuring out what kind of game it is. What style of game play do you want? Deck building? board conquer? A unique play style is harder to develop than a clone. Something to keep in mind at all times: balance and multiple paths to victory. I feel like those two things make or break games. I've played games that only last two rounds because of some exploit. Not very fun. To your game, are you thinking co-op or competitive? Are the players students trying to become mages or maybe they're trying to use their basic magic skills to overcome problems (a la Harry Potter, the early years)? A concept that appeals to you is, I think, the first step.

New to drawing, be gentle
IceeBrony replied to IceeBrony's topic in Photo Finish's Magics (Visual Art)
I re-draw those lines several times >.< I've been rotating the paper around to get a better angle. Still working on proportions and eyeballing where the pieces need to go. I'm that's mostly just practice though The front legs on the RD pic are not right, too straight or something... Yeah... its the muzzle I think. I took it completely off and replaced it to make it better. The eyes started out pretty even, but I think I made them different sizes. -
Hi! I'm starting to draw ponies. I don't have any real knowledge about drawing, and my experience is limited to random doodles. I would appreciate feedback and guidance Advice like "Google tutorials" has gotten me this far. So I could do with a bit more detail. Or at least I think that's what I need. Some of you may have a better idea of what I need to practice (besides just practicing of course). These are literally the first ponies I have ever drawn

I don't think so. A "perfect" world should, by nature of it's perfection, not cause such a thing to happen. "How?" you ask... Beats me, I'm not the one making it a perfect place The same logic applies to most other forms of "perfect-imperfect" arguments. Would I do it? Depends on my mood To make a D&D reference: I'm chaotic neutral

Paradoxes and Such things That are Hard to Think about.

Most paradoxes are just logical fallacies. Edit: ACK! that post turned me into a parasprite! -
For those that don't know, Dragoncon is a convention held in Atlanta Georgia each year over Labor Day weekend (Aug 29 - Sep 1 this year) I've been going for several years now, and was curious to know if any one here attends. http://www.dragoncon.org/

The average scientific literacy rates of MLPF

I've seen people literally become unable to do simple addition or subtraction under pressure: "What's 4-2?" "6!? I DONT KNOW!!" (Happened while tutoring someone about negative numbers)- 181 replies

@Dark Fox You could easily walk a mile or 3 to no detriment. Running/jogging would depend on how fast, but roughly a mile should be fine. Up to a mile in about 6:30 a day is about a much as you want to do. I think at slower paces it's about 3 miles in an hour. Stretching is (as EarthbendingProdigy said) pretty much always good. A rule of thumb for stretching: stretch until it is uncomfortable, then easy back just a little and HOLD it. 20-30sec. You can trust me on this one, at 250lbs I was still able to put my foot behind my head Long muscles are happy muscles

Fracking is a pretty big political/environmental issue right now, that's probably why it's there. Many places are voting on banning (or partial banning) of it and it has caused some serious damage in places. And not 'environmental' but damage to homes and cities.- 181 replies

You'd think so... but no. You could watch her from the house and SEE the neck muscles convulsing. She was not the brightest bulb in the box, though with all that current running through her, she should have been EDIT: "effective"... oops lol It worked... she didn't cross OVER it, she just sat ON it.
