  1. I'm sure if everyone needed to make the movie could drop everything and concentrate all their efforts on the project they could churn it out pretty quick, but there's a whole lot of planning, writing, animating, voice acting, editing that goes into a story that can't just be done neatly and quickly. Plus original ideas and characters cannot be made without good ideas and inspiration, which don't just come on command. Two years isn't too bad, I should think.
  2. Indeed. Celestia takes far too many risks and does far too little herself. There are so many times where she has withheld information or sent an unqualified agent to deal with a massive problem that, if left unresolved, would have cost many lives. Just because she says "I knew you could do it" at the end of the episode doesn't change the fact that Celestia is reckless and lazy as all heck.
  3. I am shipping Fluttercord so hard right now. I love this episode so dang much! Best line: "Do you even know what you just said?" Tree Hugger was pretty freaking awesome (I freaking love her dreadlocks!), the Smooze is pretty much the grooviest side character I've ever seen (A top hat? Gentility level is over 9000!), and the new Mane 6 hairstyles were very sweetles (well, TBH, Fluttershy's was kinda off ). I loved this very relatable development in Discord's character, especially because they didn't turn the Smooze into some wicked, unfeeling thing that would distract everyone from the real point of the story. Plus, it was nice to see that Twilight wasn't saving the day for once, or stealing the "moral of the story" speech as has become her usual. I wasn't really a fan of Celestia's out of character exuberance. I prefer her as a demure, distant, and superior character, more of an authority figure than an actual player in the story. Still, that was only a minor hiccup in a pretty great episode. Oh, one lost opportunity, though. I really wish they would have had Derpy be the mail pony, though I understand they may have been reluctant to do so since she's been the subject of some controversy.
  4. I'm terrible at drawing. I've never been able to do it, not even when I was little. But I am an avid doodler, and I take pride in my audacity and creativity, if not my skill. I'm always scribbling something in class, and some of my little pictures aren't entirely terrible. So this semester I decided to carefully cut out and compile all my best doodles into one great big collage. It was a super fun project and it looks pretty sweetles. All y'all in school, I highly suggest you consider saving your doodles. There are any number of cool things you can do with them, especially if you draw better than me (which is almost a given ).
  5. I usually don't like opening's, but I do have a few that I don't skip. Monk: Dexter: Most theme song's suck, but the lyric's to Monk's opening are catchy and fun, and the Dexter theme song, though understated and very simple, still manages to be chilling and intriguing.
  6. I have a jawline fetish. It's not entirely well-defined, but I like 'em without any weird angles, strong and defined, just a tad slender or sloping, and sometimes rounded. A good, strong jaw can give me the hots for anyone. I know what you mean, man. There's nothing quite like a guy who's tall and just a bit scrawny.
  7. 3 out of 4 finals completed. I think this is gonna be a good semester for me.

  8. I'm a huge RDJ fan, so that would be pretty freaking awesome, but I doubt it. He's like 50 years old and snarky. Not exactly our demographic.
  9. My parents made me play softball, which I hated. I was terrified of the ball because of a few traumatizing times when I got hit square in the face by it, so I was pretty much the worst player ever. The last time I played was in Freshman year of High School. I didn't want to do it, but my sister wanted to quit and mom wouldn't let her, so I replaced her on the team. Still hated it, but I do love batting. Even now I wouldn't mind stepping inside a batting cage as long as the speed is kinda low.
  10. Pony winter would be pretty interesting. So far we've mostly seen how ponies amuse themselves in good weather, but it would be interesting to see how the slow season affects them. What does Fluttershy do with all her animals hibernating? What do the Apples do without any trees to care for? I think it's fairly likely we get a winter episode, but I don't think winter will continue in the show for very long because it will limit travel and activity of the Mane 6.
  11. It's snowing. On May 9, it's snowing. Why won't winter just die?
  12. I got logical, and yes, that is primarily my orientation, but I do feel that someone can be both. I am logically artistic. I write and sculpt, I critique movies and TV, but I also love Calculus and Computer Science. I am "polished nails and a polished mind" to quote a favorite commercial of mine (). I don't think people can be so accurately categorized.
  13. I haven't slept in 32 hours.

  14. Pulled an all-nighter to write my paper, and I'm not even tireoijvoinseoiejndowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Generally, You probably had better luck with coffee. The Low of the energy drink will likely 1HKO you. Though, this is only from my experience. Changes from person-to-person xD

I don't drink coffee for religious reasons. :P Plus I can't stand the smell of it. The taste might make my head explode.

Fair enough. And it's pretty bitter anyway. xP

  16. Monster update: My right eye and my right thigh are buzzing. Only slightly, but still.

  17. I think the monster I drank is starting to kick in. My heart's beating kinda fast, and I've got a slight headache on one side of my head. But it's 1 AM and I'm still awake. Let's do this. >:P

  18. I've never had caffeine in my life, and I'm about to go out and buy a monster. Bring it on, dead week.

  19. Keep in mind, I'm judging from a pretty uninformed perspective here, and I don't mean any offense to any UG fans out there, but this show just looks like the dumbest filler project I've ever seen in my life. Seriously. It looked like Spongebob without the originality, without the interesting characters, without any spark of original or elevated humor at all. I mean, just the voice of UG is enough to make you wanna vomit. Gives me flashbacks to all the terrible Disney comic relief characters. They don't seem to be aiming very high, either. At best, this show is a bit like Chowder (which I loved when I was a kid), with random mayhem and an occasional original thought.
  20. So... I really wasn't planning on posting this. And I'm not sure what changed my mind. But whatevs. A week or so ago, I was attempting a sculpt for my sister, and when that failed I decided to make a pony. Instead of going for a pony from the show, I decided to think up an OC on the spot and sculpt it. Which is totally out of character for me. I don't make ponies aesthetic-first style. At all. Except for this one, I guess. This was my original design made on the Pony Generator. I was kinda going for a mood rather than a character. Punk, kinda edgy without going straight to black and neon. Her colors were designed to clash a little bit, as if she had dyed her mane. This is how the sculpt turned out. I'm not quite pleased with this one. First of all, it's huge. Nearly twice the size of my Twilight sculpt. The left foreleg got all twisted, and the colors are not quite what I pictured. But on the other hand, I wasn't creating a character, just trying to capture a mood. And so I guess I'm kinda okay with this. I'm thinking of taking sculpting requests. Probably not right away. I want to finish all the Mane cast characters, and I've still got Applejack and Fluttershy left, but I think it would be kinda cool to practice sculpting on a few willing OC's.
  21. Spike is a fun character to sculpt. I love his crest and ears.
  22. Dude, this is gonna be pretty sweetles. Praise Lord Smooze, y'all!
  23. Definitely dude. Dunno why, but I don't like the sound of "bro".
