  1. I take them out of the box for display, but I fold up the box and keep it.
  2. Such a shame that such a great actor has gone. He had a long life, though. Blazing Saddles is one of my favorite comedic movies. Classic.
  3. That would be awesome, but from what I understand, Funko has discontinued their MLP line. I remember buying up the ones I wanted when I found out they were being discontinued.
  4. I'm going to try to just relax today

  5. Good thing I showed up to help put together that shelf because my friends were really struggling.

Yeah but I've got no milk

  7. Well I would obviously want to be an Alicorn, but I think I would end up being an earth pony.
  8. I bought a rug today! it really ties the room together. On a separate note, I spilled a whole container of laundry detergent at wallmart today.

    1. Prospekt

      Prospekt

I really need a rug for my room... and stupid laundry detergent! That's why I only buy the little pods you toss in the washer, 'cause I don't want it to all go to waste in case I spill it everywhere. :P

  9. They are all very good. The only major thing is that your proportions are off a little bit, but other than that, great job
  10. I do drink, but I make an effort to control myself. I've been drunk before and I don't like it very much. I drink more because I enjoy the taste of certain drinks, not to get drunk.
  11. Do you like voice acting and singing? Do you like Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog AND Doctor Who? You've come to the right place! I have a friend who is trying to create a Doctor Who and Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog crossover. It will be an original musical. I had volunteered to be a voice actor, but my schedule became to busy to be of much help, so I had to drop out. The least I could do is help recruit more people to help. Voice actors/singers are needed. Also, things like this are fun, but it is also being taken seriously, so we need serious participants. I have done things like this before that completely fell apart because even just a few people weren't being professional. That being said, she seems pretty determined to do this thing, so if you can be professional this would probably be a great thing to be a part of. She has a few requirements he wanted me to tell you about, so here you go: 1) A high quality mic. This goes without saying. No background noise or echo. 2) You MUST match the voice of the specific character you have chosen as close as possible. Practice before signing up and auditioning so you know if you can do it or not. 3) A non-tight schedule. This is EXTREMELY important for any project like this to work out. DO NOT SIGN UP IF YOU CAN'T FOLLOW THROUGH ON YOUR PROMISE. Skipping out for whatever reason hinders the progress for everyone else and is just not a very cool thing to do. If you do sign up and have to drop out, it is your job to find a replacement. 4) A voice acting and singing ability range. Sorry, but just being able to do voice impersonations is not enough. You need to be able to do some real voice acting and singing. It doesn't need to be the amazing, but like I said before this project is being taken seriously so we need some serious voice actors. 5) PLEASE make sure that when you send the audition, your file(s) must be in MP3 format! She cannot accept other file types. If you have other file types, then you can find programs online that can convert your files (Always research the program before downloading. I don't want any of you to download a virus). If you are sincerely interested, comment here and I will give you the songs and lines you need to record for an audition, and refer you to the person in charge. ps: Admins, sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. I'm never sure if I'm in the right part of the forums.
  12. That is what I was going for. Sorry, I'm not going for the whole "because it's a TV show" response. I should be more clear. Maybe they don't speak English at all in their world, but that's just how we see it because it's just like we are being told a story of their world. Just like how if you told me a story about something that happened in Russia, you wouldn't tell me in Russian even though the characters in the story would speak Russia. No matter what language is being spoken, you would tell the story in your language. I did think about it more and came up with another explication, if you want another one. There are so many similarities between the Equestrian world and the Human world. Maybe that's because even though there is only one way to travel between the worlds, there are things about each world that "bleeds" into the other. Things like language.
  13. Well, MLP is a story, and like any story it is told to us in a language we understand. They may be speaking their own language, but the story is told to us in English. That's the best I can come up with.
  14. Funny. There are less students per class at the college I'm attending than there were at the High School I went to.

My High School had an average of 30 students per class. My college has about 20 students per class.

  15. I'm done posting in political threads. I don't mind a little political debate, but I am tired of being sucked into pointless arguments.

    1. N.W.

      N.W.

I hear ya. I made the mistake of doing it again recently after quitting for years.

  16. I imagine it is mostly high end, but I would also imagine that it's the type of place that does custom work, so you could possibly work with Rarity to figure out something within a more reasonable price range. Custom work is never super cheap, though.
  17. Shape shifting would be awesome. Either that or invisibility. I can think of endless possibilities with both *laughs like a madman* XD
  18. Classes start tomorrow. Let's hope I don't get lost trying to find the rooms.

  19. Went on a hike today with some new friends. Got a little lost, but we eventually found our way so it was a good little adventure.

  20. My dad would always say "Don't do anything I would do" I also really like this quote: "Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional". I don't remember where that is from, but it stuck with me.
  21. Hey there! Are you still doing this? I would like to see what you think of my OC. I am constantly changing and trying to improving this character, so any constructive criticism is always welcome. Name - Treble (I'll be honest. I'm not crazy about the name because I feel like it would be better if it were a two word name) Personality - He is overly confident, thinks he is way cooler than he actually is, and is very charitable. However, his confident personality is his way of covering up his emotional issues that he has developed throughout his life. His childhood was good, but he didn't get along with his father who didn't approve of his musician lifestyle. He has trouble letting others help him. Bio -He grew up in the outskirts of Applewood. His mother was a Librarian and his father worked in the city hall. He never got along very well with his father. Growing up in Applewood, he was exposed to all sorts of music and entertainment, but as much as he enjoyed all of it, none of it really caught his attention until when he was 8 years old, he met a traveling musician and fell in love with folk music. He begged his parents to let him learn to play guitar and they bought him his first guitar for his 9th birthday. After learning to play for a year, he got his cutie mark after writing his first song. Even though the song wasn't very good, it was then that he realized that whatever he did with his life, he needed music to be a part of it. When he was 17, he lost a chunk of his right ear in a fight with a Pegasus (I really just put the missing chunk in his ear because I thought it looked cool, but it needs some sort of explanation) When he was 18, he moved to Manehattan to start his music career and study music at the University of Manehattan, even though his father disapproved of him trying to become a musician. After finishing school and living there for a few years, he realized he just wasn't has happy as he thought he would be. He loved playing music in the big city, but something was missing. His roommate he had while at school was from a small town and always talked about how great and peaceful it was there. He thought that moving there, at least for a while, would help him think about his life and figure out what was missing, but he was afraid to give up his music career in the city. Eventually, he decided to go through with it. He wrote to his friend and arranged for him to crash at his house until he found a place of his own and packed up his things and left the city. He always thought "Ponyville" was a stupid name for a town, but as he spent his first few weeks there, he grew to enjoy it. It had a certain charm to it, and actually wasn't as small as he thought it would be. He continued to write music and played at the few local clubs, but he also worked at a pub to save up money. After a couple years, combined with the money he had already saved before he came to ponyville, he had saved up enough to open a music store where he also taught music lessons. He had finally found something that made him happy. Teaching music was his real calling (also one which his father was more accepting of). Appearance - He is an average sized male Earth Pony. He has an off-white coat. His dark red mane is medium length and has a unkempt, bed-head style. He has blue eyes and often wears a denim jacket Cutie Mark - He is a folk musician and music teacher, so his cutie mark is two music notes with a red (same as his mane) line weaving through them. (the line is has no meaning. It just makes the cutie mark match his color scheme) Here is the character page link, which also has a picture. https://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/treble-r8882
  22. I see no problem with this. I don't think they will steal any noticeable traffic from us. I know I won't bother with it because I am already a member here and I see no reason to make another account for another MLP forum. There are other MLP related forums and I see no harm in one more.
  23. I love dogs. I used to have a Saint Bernard, and he was amazing. So, a Saint Bernard is my ideal pet.
  24. I'm scared of needles, but I've started to get over it in the past few years. I'm kind of scared of open water, but I would say it makes me nervous rather than actual fear. I was scared of bees for a long time, but once I got stung by one I realized it's not that bad, so I've gotten over that fear. Other than that, I don't know. It's not that I'm fearless, because I am definitely not fearless, but I don't have many specific irrational fears.
