    Because my friend drew it for me, and because it's pretty cool. Most people actually mess up Mes' eye color, it's purple, not blue. So that makes this one a bit more special.

    I'm not super into vocaloid stuff at all, but I do appreciate Miku as an adorable character. Also these two songs. First is one that I stumbled across and instantly added to my jam playlist. Second is a meme.

    With you there, sis. Spitfire's supposed to be a hardass, top-gun style drill sergeant, but she's utterly incompetent and the... eh... hardass-ness has to be toned back because it's a kid's show. All that really amounts to is basically a bossy twerp who gets her team into trouble. Don't like her. :v

    My first name is Nathanael. Yes, spelled like that. I'm named after the Bible character Nathanael, whose claim to fame was sitting under a fig tree and being skeptical when Philip told him they'd found the Messiah. Yeah. :v Anyway, most people misspell it "Nathaniel". It doesn't bother me when it's some random stranger, but when my own family does I get kind of annoyed. And everyone mispronounces my last name. It's rather surprising when someone says it right.

    It depends on what shoes I'm wearing. Like, if I'm in uniform and I'm wearing boots, unless it's the end of the day, I won't bother taking them off. But normally I wear socks. I'm almost never barefoot.

    I lie to myself a bunch, and self-esteem is no exception. Most people say I've got pretty good self-esteem, they couldn't be further from the truth. It's pathetic, I know, but I need validation from my friends that I'm worth having around and not just a useless bag of biomass that should be disposed of.

    A lot of people in my unit smoke. I've never smoked, my heart is weak enough without that running in my system, and besides, I've got alcohol to help relieve stress.

    I don't often get a chance to, but it's nice when I do. I prefer the night to day most of the time anyway, and I'm not afraid to go alone. In fact, it's usually better if I'm alone. It gives me time to gather my thoughts and voice my grievances.
