  1. Happy New Year, my little bronies!!!!

  2. My favourite creamer is milk. Without milk there is nothing, not powdered, but sour bitter blackness...
  3. Rarity fan club crashed my phone....worth it.
  4. I'm in my 30s and fat so screw you guys... (working on it...nerdfitness anyone?) .uhh, do I break stereotypes? ...I'm a professional homeowner, married with child, so I'd only live in my parents house if I bought it from them and invited them to leave. I don't have much of a social life and never did. I'm still obsessed with 90s animation of my youth, and having a daughter helped me find new animation. MLP is out of this world, so far above as far as writing and acting. I never ship. I owned a fedora once........and have a beard. Good God....
  5. Is it cheating to say that the Mane 6 combined with the Elements of Harmony are the most powerful force in the Equestrian universe? Also, I think if push came to shove, Twilight would have learned the ability to fly ala Starlight if she needed too. She hasn't tried a unicorn flying trick for years because she's an Alicorn now. So I would say she's the most powerful of regular ponies. Does she have a greater ability than demigods Luna & Celestia? Time will tell, but maybe it is fate for Celestia to hand the reigns (har har) down to Twilight Sparkle one day. Honorable mention goes to Rarity, cause she's my faves. TL;DR: Twilight Sparkle
  6. Yes! They're the best is cooked well. You should make Brussels sprouts cole slaw sometime.
  7. I've recently gotten back into the diet drinks again, due to me...enjoying regular soda far too often in 2015. And somehow I enjoy Diet Coke more than Coke Zero now, and I always thought that it tasted like recycled battery acid. Peanut Butter +: I enjoy peanut butter too much. I also pair it with a few interesting things, the least weird being peanut butter & cream cheese on bagel or sandwich. Also, my super secret guilty pleasure is crispy tortilla chips dipped into peanut butter. So good, and needs to utmost of self-control to keep from going down a dark road from which one cannot return. I enjoy Eggplant Curry a lot - spices and mushy eggplant mixed with yogurt. I also enjoy plain yogurt (not vanilla, but plain sour milk flavor), thanks to my Bulgarian/Armenian/Italian wife. When I cook burgers...I sometimes dip a piece of bread into the burger grease and eat it before disposing. My Cuban uncle says that in Cuba they would make lard sandwiches, and I once had such a thing at a Polish restaurant, so I guess it's not too far off. Every New Year's Day, I make black eyed peas and season each serving with one drop of insanity sauce. It causes my eyes to water and burn, nostrils to flair and all of my sinuses to drain to the point of pain, anger, embarrassment, all within that first bite. Second bite is good. After a bowl, I cannot taste for a few hours. I eat raw tomatoes like they're apples. I enjoy eating raw onions while drinking beer. Thanks to this place: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McSorley's_Old_Ale_House I'm sure there's more...
  8. 1 million ponies will be watching the ball drop tonight in Manehattan. I'll be at home thanks.

  9. I'm not the most computer savvy person there is, but I've enjoyed the switch to Windows 10. I've had it since the free upgrades went out, and there's only been a few moments of slowness. There was a trick I found: go to settings and turn off "show me tips about Windows 10" which surprisingly worked for me. That sucks about your bookmarks - I didn't have that issue.
  10. Sonata is great for what she is. Comic relief in the villains. Taco Tuesday is adorable. A lot of her humor comes from the reactions of her fellow sirens. She wouldn't work on her own as a character, but neither would Aria or Adagio.
  11. Thanks everypony for a great week. Being so kind and welcoming here has made me feel very happy. And Happy New Year while I'm at it.

Happy New years back right at ya ^^

  12. A few reasons to donate blood, at least for myself: 1) You can't have indefinite reserves of your own blood. They expire rather quickly (little over a month). So if you're in a bad accident or have a bad disease, you'll need blood supply from another human being. 2) Human blood cannot be synthesized. And because stores of blood are thrown out on a daily basis, the supply needs to be restocked always. 3) I have O negative. I can donate to any blood type, so I feel because I'm in that unique situation and it's almost an obligation to do it, because I have that ability that most don't. 4) I'm screwed. I'm also more likely to die from blood loss because I can't receive any blood BUT O negative. So I might as well give it away while I can. Here's some random blood facts. It's from my local donation page, but it's still important information. If you don't donate blood, I seriously encourage you to do so, especially if you have O negative blood. http://nybloodcenter.org/donate-blood/blood-facts/
  13. Unashamed Disney shareholder is happy with this news.
  14. I always enjoyed that time Rarity was roughing it in the great outdoors.
  15. Going to Metropolitan Opera for the first time today. Excitement!

Opera? Bit too fancy music for me I think

  16. Good, good, let the hate flow through you. I will occasionally lightly punch a wall and then whine about the pain. I usually just shake around angry like Hulk Hogan.
  17. I think that they would be perplexed, because barns and stables are used for animals, and the Equestrian ponies don't consider themselves animals (much like we humans do not). Sweet Apple Acres has shown cows and sheep in grazing areas behind fences, so a stable like thing probably exists for some animal there.
  18. The way wrasslin looks now, with the appearance of attitude era but being PG, makes it took more fake and two-bit than every before. Pro wrestling is built on the theatrical athleticism, and, for me, it's not theatrical enough, looking modern but lacking that sharp edge. I miss the fun and characterization of the 80s WWF. I miss attitude era WWF. I do not like the half-melded concoction they have now. Shame, because so many of the wrestlers are talented.
  19. What's SWF mean? Also, you could go to the boss and argue sexual harassment. But a super douchey guy at a hardware store - do you really go so far to get him fired and have him learn his lesson or just hope he matures?
  20. I'm going to get sucked into these RPs aren't I...?

Do you do them? I used to do RP way long ago, during the dial up and dinosaur days, in AOL's Red Dragon Inn. I was rocking 56K back then, such a slick speed of informational lightning. I'm probably rusty.

  21. That's really weird, man. I know in some work environments you get ragged on for such matters, but that seemed really pushy and gross. Honestly, he'll probably keep ragging you about it unless you say it without a care in the world. Guys like that feed off the reaction, not what your personal activities actually are. And who cares what he thinks: is this guy's goal to be the official ladies man of Home Depot?
  22. Yeah, Harrison Ford was great. That Indiana Jones performance never felt like a return to that character, but this really felt like Han Solo had returned.
