  1. Dark red. Pros: rust is not very visible Cons: rust is not very visible
  2. Turning children into soldiers is wrong, but the fact that they exist means that they are effective enough and probably cause more damage to the enemy than themselves. Desperate times, desperate measures. Probably in that universe, giving a weapon to a 13 year old is better than not giving them a weapon and being less armed against zombies or criminals. Also, children probably get trained to use guns at a young age because of that, similar to child soldiers IRL. Also, AFAIK, in the past it was OK for children to have guns in the US. In the past, in some countries, 12 year old was considered old enough to marry and children as young as 7 operated dangerous machinery in the factories (given more dangerous jobs that the adults could not do because of their size). The laws eventually got changed for the better though.
  3. Normally, sure, but when the place you live in is infested by zombies and criminals giving a gun to a 16 year old may be a good idea. Beside, it's not like 15 or 16 year old is that much mre stupid than an 18 year old. After all, there are child soldiers IRL and presumably they are good enough for whatever criminals that use them.
  4. Doesn't the game take place after the apocalypse? In that case I'm pretty sure nobody cares about most of the laws that existed before the catastrophic event, just like, say, in Fallout, Metro or other similar games.
  5. Pro: good TV show, lots of interesting fanfics, I found music of Michelle Creber. Con: I spent too much money on pony-shaped pieces of plastic.
  6. Stay human, unless I can turn into an immortal alicorn. Twilight and Starlight. I would also be OK with the main 5 from G5. As long as neither group involves me in their adventures. My own house would be great. New house, well, depends on the house I guess. Yes, I would want to take all of my things, spare parts for them, a steam powered generator (so I could burn wood or coal for electricity) and some guns + ammo. Not all ponies are good, some may want to harm me and I would be at a physical disadvantage, so I would need a way to protect myself. I'd keep the same name. Yes, I would like to be able to return. I don't think I would be able to stock up on enough spare parts and supplies to last for decades. No, I would not want to change my appearance. Yes, I would ask them where they want to go. I would try to stay away from "adventure", but I would try to change Lesson Zero by talking some sense into Twilight. I'm sure a few other episodes could be made shorter by just getting the ponies to talk or talking some sense into them. It would depend on their preference I guess. I think Starlight would be interested in the history of the USSR. I guess randomly teleported if I have to choose. Honestly, I would not want to live in Equestria. Visiting it for vacation would be nice, but I would want to return home.
  7. I am not against tattoos in general. Some tattoos look good, some don't (in my opinion), but as long as the person likes it, it's good. I do not see a reason to get one myself though.
  8. No. While some kind of tattoo may look cool, I am not going to spend a lot of money and endure pain just for appearance.
  9. I also just finished watching Wednesday. Awesome show, I really like it.
  10. Do you like Pipp or should I get bodyguards? Though the palace is probably protected enough already.
  11. Yeah. Still better than just dying. Besides, Pipp is rich by virtue of being a princess and the influencer status is something that can be dropped. Fake an accident, then say that "it forced me to realize that there are more important things in life than social media, so I say thank you to all my fans and this is goodbye". They would probably soon find someone else to look at. Most likely Prince Consort, not King.
  12. Yeah, if the alternative is death, yeah, sure, Equestria would most likely be better than death.
  13. No. Also, while I would like to visit Equestria as a tourist, I would nto want to stay there permanently. If there was a risk of it being a one-way trip - I would not go.
  14. Oh, this too, sure. Most people would not have interactions with the "big bad" - even if someone lives in a country ruled by a tyrant, he most likely will never meet that tyrant, only people who enforce his will (who most likely will act like jerks or bullies).
  15. I think this has multiple reasons, at least in my opinion. What are the differences between a major villain (Nightmare Moon) and a bully (Diamond Tiara)? Goals: 1. Nightmare Moon wants to take over the world. While most people do not want that, I think that "wanting to be rich and powerful" is something a lot of people can identify with, even if they would not do it the way she is doing. Basically they can at least respect her. It does not look like the goal of Nightmare Moon is to just make ponies suffer. 2. Diamond Tiara just gets enjoyment out of tormenting other children (it's not like she is going to gain anything tangible from it). Fewer people can identify with this. What people are affected: 1. With Nightmare Moon in power, everyone would be affected (by the change in government etc) and at the same time most ponies probably would not be affected (individually). Probably lots of ponies would continue to live their lives very similarly to before, go to work, etc. For this, I assume that eternal night would not result in no food - NM would not want to rule over empty space, so she would figure out how to grow food etc at night (ponies have magic). 2. Diamond Tiara is singling a few ponies out. Also, she is tormenting other children - people usually dislike it when bad things are done to children. Revenge/consequences: 1. Nightmare Moon got reformed (if she was taken over by some evil spirit, that spirit got killed or banished). Other villains get reformed, killed or imprisoned. It's OK if someone dreams of killing Nightmare Moon for all she tried to do. 2. Diamond Tiara just changes her mind and is instantly forgiven for everything she did. More so, if someone wished for her to be beaten up (for example), he would look like a bad person for wanting to beat up a little girl. I think this is a big part of the hatred - she does what she does, but you cannot really do anything to her in response - not because it is not physically possible, but because then you would be the villain for beating up a little girl.
  16. I do not see a problem in adults doing something dangerous. As long as it is legal (or moral) and the danger is only to the person doing it (and not to innocent bystanders etc), whatever. That's cool. I remember there being CD-Rs where the recording side was completely black (but transparent to IR obviously. Some fabrics are also transparent to IR and some swimsuits were made of those fabrics, so when cameras with "night vision" became available, that unction found some use on the beach.
  17. Full restoration of my car, that would be nice. Though with questions like these, usually my answer would be "a lot of money" and I could use it to buy whatever, but I tried to come up with something more interesting than that. And if money was truly no object, I probably would just ask for 1000 bitcoin, lots of stocks of some stable company or just a lot of cash. Then I could get my car restored and have money left over for other things.
  18. Styropyro is good (and if he is doing something dangerous, it's his right and responsibility), I sometimes watch him. Anyway, the Youtubers I watch the most (at least non-political ones) are shango066, ElectroBoom, Techmoan, Chris Eden-Green, I sometimes start watching someone else, watch them for a while the n forget about them and remember them later. Right now I am watching quite a few videos by "Ask Olaf the Violinmaker" - it is interesting to watch him repair instruments.
  19. I like the Ferngully review, also the Batman and Robin review. I do not care about drama, but some reviews were not as interesting (when he started to reenact movies instead of using clips), but I have not seen the more recent reviews, maybe I should check them out.
  20. PC user, I use Windows and Linux.
  21. Other than desktop wallpapers and a keychain - no. I kind-of "grew out" of the sticker phase.
  22. Tea. What kind of tea? Well, I like black tea, Earl Grey, caraway and malt tea the most, but I do drink other kinds of tea as well. As for carbonated drinks, I like Baikal and Natakhtari, I also prefer Pepsi over Coca-Cola, that's because Coca-Cola is so common I got bored of it.
  23. Not a problem at all, as long as you use a UPS or just a DC-DC converter (for devices that need low voltage), just get one with low voltage cut-out to not over-discharge the batteries.
  24. I'm going the other direction - I have a generator for those long outages. For something like 30 minutes a UPS is enough assuming the batteries are in good shape. There is no way I could fit everything to a raspeberry. Fitting almost everything to a new server would be possible, but inconvenient (and expensive).
