  1. I would refuse for the simple reason - there is no way I would want to become a pony. Even if it did not involve killing anyone.
  2. No, I'd hate basic training, I dislike being outside, I also dislike people shooting at me and I dislike when there's too much or not enough order (and in the Army I think it's both at the same time). Also, I dislike the idea of putting myself in danger for the sake of other people. For the small list of people I care about - yeah, I can understand that, but in general - no.
  3. Many times, going to concerts is my favorite thing to do when on vacation. I go to concerts of Lithuanian performers most of the time, but one time, Smokie was in Palanga at the time when I was on vacation there, so, of course I went to that concert. However, I dislike the very large venues - huge crowds, takes forever to get to your seat, takes forever to go out and go home etc. I really dislike going to the Žalgiris Arena - the event has to be really something super special for me to bother going there, even though I live in Kaunas, just because of the huge hassle. Basically, going to a smaller venue - I go there in OK mood, watch the concert and leave in a great mood. With the Arena, until I go to my seat my mood is sour, watching the concert improves it somewhat (it's a huge place, the stage is far away etc) and then leaving makes my mood go bad again.
  4. I like thunderstorms, obviously not when I am outside getting rained on, but staying inside (or even inside of a car when not actually driving (driving in heavy rain sucks, so as a passenger or in a parked car) is great.
  5. To be a hero one needs to sacrifice himself for other people, probably strangers. I could never be a firefighter for example - even if the salary was really high, I would nod be able to go into a burning building to save others. Family, friends - sure, but random people? However, I also lack the ambition for world domination. It sounds like a lot of work to be the Fuhrer - not only people would try taking me out, I would have to watch my back all the time, because there would be "friends" and "followers" ready to stab me. But even discounting that, running a country (or worse, the whole world) sounds like a lot of work. If I had some super powers, I would most likely just use them for personal gain and try not to attract too much attention to myself.
  6. About 2.3m away from a 1.5m TV. I also have a smaller TV about 35cm that I use for various STB testing and sometimes copy or watch video taps. I sit about 70cm away from it, but at an angle, this TV is near the monitor of my main PC.
  7. Yes. I buy used audio tapes. Sometimes they have music from artists I know that was probably never "officially" released (music distribution in the USSR and in Lithuania in the 90s was way different than it is now or it was in the West) or at least songs I have not heard before. I really like it when in a box of used reel to reel tapes that I bought I find something from the 90s or, alternatively, a really old tape, that gets my hopes up for some good music.
  8. Don't forget that ponies used to be racist against other types of ponies and only stopped for a while because of a common enemy that wanted to kill all of them and fed on hatred. And then later ponies went right back to hating each other (G5). So yeah, I'd say they are racist and IMO a lot of ponies have opinions similar to those of Chancellor Neighsay.
  9. It is mostly correct, I really like point-and-click adventure games with great stories, like Syberia, Dreamfall Chapters and similar games. I play some FPS games though too, but I really like if there is a story there, not just running and shooting. I also like playing co-op with my friends. I have played Borderlands (and 2 and TPS and 3) with a friend and recently I played Raft and now Valheim with a group of friends. I always play of what I think is the "default" difficulty - it usually is called "normal" or something like that. I also like simulators, recently I have been playing Derail Valley (and here use the "realistic" difficulty, because it's supposed to be a simulator). At some point I was really into Factorio, this type of game appeals to me as well.
  10. That would be annoying. While most of what Pinkie does is not harmful as such, she still can be very annoying and I do not like people who do not understand that no means no.
  11. Try to not get noticed by her. I would probably look out my window before leaving my house to see if she's not on the sidewalk and drive in a direction to avoid her house.
  12. I do not watch a lot of new TV shows, so a streaming subscription would be a waste of money. Also, I dislike subscriptions in general - anything that requires me to pay continuously instead of one-time. That being said, I still watch a couple of shows while sailing the seven seas. I also buy some physical media (especially older movies) and record some stuff from TV (either using a VCR or some other method). I have paid for some live streams though - some concerts. I recorded them to video tapes so I can re-watch them in the future.
  13. I looked at the list of affected movies/shows and it seems that Babylon 5 reboot and Wednesday season 2 are delayed. Those are the two shows I was waiting for. I watched another show (Nancy Drew 2019) but it has finished. However, I can wait. I think that the writers (of the good shows, anyway) deserve to get paid more and have better conditions. If AI-written stuff is considered unfit for fimfiction, it should not be used for TV shows.
  14. I used Linux for servers for over a decade, but only recently started using it on my ultra-portables and that is because I dislike Windows 10 and 11, but I could not make Windows 7 or 8 run on them properly.
  15. Just for 1k? No. I don't really think all of my stuff would fit in his house. Not that I would want to move, since moving is really, really annoying.
  16. I do not use Apple products. The company is evil with its anti-repair nonsense, but that's not the reason. The reason is that I don't need them. I can use a PC with Windows or Linux, it is easier to modify and repair it and I do not like the look of Apple devices. Linux is a good alternative to Windows, a lot of Windows programs can run on Wine and now even a lot of games can run on Linux thanks to Valve.
  17. Tamagotchi then later cellphones. Also game consoles (and PCs) later, but since those were at home, they were not as visible.
  18. I live in the second largest city of my country, but with 300k people it would probably be considered a small town in some other countries.
  19. Probably Sunny, Zipp and Hitch out of the main 5. Izzy can be annoying (not as much as Pinkie though) and Pipp wants to broadcast everything, but I do not want my pictures to be posted online, so that would probably be a constant conflict. The remaining three seem to be more "normal", though I do not have much in common with any of them. We could be friends, just not best friends.
  20. Pretty much all alcoholic drinks. There are few that taste OK, but I don't drink alcohol. However, something like beer or wine tastes bad no matter if it has alcohol in it or not.
  21. I beat Portal when it came out in one day - it's a short game. There are other games in my Steam account that are completed and have low play hours, but I do not remember if I did it in on day or multiple.
  22. Despite liking Twilight, if I was forced to choose at gunpoint (no way I would go there willingly), I would choose G5 - at least they have electricity and tape decks.
  23. Derail Valley, despite being early access, it is quite well made, with few bugs.
  24. I think video games are, like many other things, good in moderation and bad if done too much. Yes, video games are a waste of time, but a lot of other things are as well. Very few people could be happy only sleeping, eating or doing something that makes them money. Yes, there are some people like that, but I am not one of them. I want to have fun once in a while. When I was a kid, there was a time when I did not have a PC or when my PC time was limited, so I listened to music and read books (mostly science fiction) instead. There was a time when I had a PC at home, but no laptop (because laptops were expensive), so I read a lot when on vacation, I used to bring a stack of books back home. Of course, like with a lot of other things, you can overdo it.
