    Yeah that makes sense, plus the artstyle is very appealing. Plus for that 3rd reason corresponds with the shows declining popularity after the movie, the world was very fleshed out an now the fandoms popularity is reinvigorated with g5 feeling like an open canvas

    Kinda, all my family and friends mostly have differing hobbies and interests but it doesnt bother me much Same.

    less of a case of continuity issues and more so bad writing glimmer is a counselor, not a teacher but i see your point nonetheless in episodes like the cutie pox suggest that cutie marks are just a body trait like manes, not really a symbolic thing. i guess this is also a continuity error? ehhh. discord was very unwilling to become good at first and has done mischevious things post s4 finale, while glimmer was desperate to learn how to be better. i wouldnt really consider terrorizing equestria to enslaving a whole town, both bad things of course buuut the show brings up the village constantly and shows her loosining up on magic abuse trixie isnt supposed to learn in those episodes except magic duel as those episodes are focused on twilight and starlight, she is just confident in herself to believe she can do it and its on starlight to approve her on biases which they both learn their lessons. Also on all bottled up it was on starlight to stand up and bring up everything and tell her to focus on getting the map back I do think you have a point here and its that the writers just did not have a plan for this show, i do find that more has aged well that most people say but this show in the tail end of its life span was unorganized. heres to g5 being less so

    Browsing fandom sites like derpibooru and here I've noticed many new accounts being made, is this a typical pace for the fandom or is it a influx of people joining? Do you think we might have a new wave of content creators to join the people who were making things since 2011-2015. Or am i being too optimistic?

    I'd want a proper conclusion for FiM's universe first and id like to see g5 DESIGNS, not neccesarily them in the human world because time has passed where the pony world is very similar to the human world with history bigotry and celebrities. so I don't think it'll be that interesting. My other question is how would they do the time peiriod? Distant future makes it less marketable which is why hasbro wanted to do eqg in the first place so i think they would just ignore it as ages and time between the two worlds are already weird in g4. I also hope they do it in the eqg 2d style cause that has alot of charm and eqg in other styles doesnt look great like the toy packaging and i cant imagine itll look well in 3d. Maybe they do it in the minis style? I did like those

    Hasn't this topic been made before? Anyways maybe. G5 is bringing people to the fandom. Ive been observing the boorus and new artists are coming in every week. I dont think 2012 will be reached but i really do believe theres a new era for this fandom with all the new people joining. Maybe im biased because i joined this fandom BECAUSE of g5 and how good the movie was but i really do think there is a bright future here. Maybe itll reach peak of fim, Who knows! Also since its being brought up no i dont think the fandom ever died, has it had less activity? sure but G5 has the opportunity to breath new life into the franchise and fandom. Not neccesarily a revival but moreso a new generation of fans

    if they were the princess of chaos sure. its like how celestia, luna and starswirl dont understand friendship magic like twilight does. pinkie pie can harness it since she has always been random at times while the mean trio are too calculated to use it to its full extent like discord does

It was long enough for a pegasus royal family to happen but not long enough for the tribes to really get too comfortable and be unwilling to change no matter what. How did argyle even know who twilight was? did he have parents who knew or found books? Also the unicorns do know what magic is so the concept of that isnt lost to time. I guess this means a few centuries so the pegasus royalty forms but not enough for fim to be truly forgotten

    Alicorns were mostly known as a species you could be if you did a princess worthy task as rarity put it. celestia luna and cadance were the only ones before twilight that were alicorns and its heavily implied that starswirl were tia and lunas mentor and made them alicorns. flurry heart confirmed that alicorns could be made with genetics and cadance just got a alicorn gene when she became one.

    I can tolerate most man children as long as they do what they need to do, besides they can be fun to be around. I wouldnt call you a manchild if you do your responsibilites tho

    i can sympathize with him because he was only evil because of his enviroment but he does need time to grown and redeem himself. i saw art of him in peacemakers suit and both characters fit each other well. both want to be good people at the core (sprout wants to protect people/ peacemaker wants to maintane peace) but both simply dont have good ways of taking that mission out (sprout tries to cause chaos to the other pony species, pm kills rick flag) but peacemaker makes up for this by stopping the butterflies and killing his father, and sticking with his team. sprout still needs to be redeemed, maybe with a apology and helping the m5 with a bigger threat

    The dragons i didnt like at first, how they were portrayed as just one group in a wasteland felt dumb but introducing a dragon lord made sense. the buffalos are eh and id probably hate the yaks but prince rutherford is pretty funny usually so they dont get on my nerves save for a few bad episodes. i can see why most dont like them also the way zebras were portrayed in idw was disappointing and a lot more boring than i expected
