  1. Real name? My name is Jonathan. And while we're at it, have a full name: Jonathan Dominick Pagan Rivera. Woo! Kind of a boring name, but it's alright. I don't mind what people call me, any nickname is fine by me. 30% of my friends call me Johnny, my brony friends, which would be like another 30-40% call me Trixie, and the rest call me Jonathan =P. At times people have nicknamed me 'Pony' without knowing I like MLP - it happened when we were messing with spoonerisms, and my name became "Ponathan Jagan", which they shortened to "Pony". Eeyup. Personally I think Valentine would have been a really cool name to have.
  2. Woo, enjoy guys. Critique is always appreciated :3.
  3. Ew incest I think having her as a sister would be cool. Preferably younger, but not by much. I could imagine like, I dunno, being dragged to the mall with her, eating breakfast, other everyday things. It'd be cool knowing her like no-one/pony else - not to mention having someone presumably kinda well known for a sister.
  4. Sweet! This'll be quite useful in the near future. The world needs more tutorials like this one!
  5. The Chosen Priest and Apostle of Infinite Space. Anyone who sticks around until the end of my funeral gets a prize. If they're not dead.
  6. Trixie is best pony. All genres of music are fine by me. Except Reggaeton. Vinyl Scratch gets a disproportionate amount of love. Seriously. Derpy is pretty awesome, but seriously, overrated. The fans named her, epic. It started as an animation error and it turned into a real character due to popularity, epic. That's all fine and dandy, BUT WHY IS 50% OF ALL PONY MERCHANDISE DERPY-RELATED?! Obama failed << I liked a couple of Season 2 episodes better than some of the Season 1 ones. 'Find a Pet' is one of my favorite songs from the show, although This Day Aria easily takes the place for favorite <3. Trixie is best pony. Saying 'Thank you' often, even for tiny things, is way, way, way important. I'm a practicing Catholic. I have nothing at all against homosexuals, I do believe homosexuality is a natural tendency, and heck, I have some friends that lean that way - I don't, however, support same sex marriage. Trixie is best pony. Abortion is murder. Evolution and Creation can co-exist. Evolutionism and Creationism, however, cannot, and both are wrong. Trixie is best pony. Can someone explain the point of those "Baby on Board" stickers on cars? Am I going to be like, "Oh shit, let me not crash into that guy 'cause he has a baby in his car, wouldn't want to hurt a baby now would I? This guy though, he doesn't have that sticker, let me take a good shot at him..." Drummers are musicians too! Trixie is best -*shot*
  7. She's beautiful! She's powerful! she's magnificent, She's great, and overall amazing! ...but that wasn't the question. I won't say she was nice, but you tell me, was she mean? She didn't make anypony cry (not at her show at least) unlike a certain gryphon I know...so she showed off a bit - so she humiliated a couple of ponies. Did they not have it coming to them? I mean, come on - they got their feathers riled up about a showpony doing her job at a FREE show, so they wanted to humiliate her. They got humiliated instead. (If you ask me, THAT should have been the lesson of the episode, but I digress.) What was Trixie supposed to do? Let herself be humiliated? Yeah, because that would make for a fantastic show. No, instead, she kept up her act pretty professionally and made most of Ponyville laugh and cheer, and generally enjoy themselves. Well - that's pretty nice, isn't it? Perhaps she wasn't intending to be nice - no, I think she was just keeping up her act - but her crowd thoroughly enjoyed it. Twilight's friends, however, took her show, her act, way too seriously - and two little foals were guilty of the very same crime, albeit in a different way...but ah well, that's a story for another time. EDIT: On the other hand, she could also be seen as mean in that she was purposely taunting the audience, asking if anypony dared challenge her greatness - but once again, it's her job to put on a good show. If that happens to be her way of doing it, so be it. Perhaps if Twilight's friends had thought it through a little more, they would have realized it was part of her act - and still challenged her, of course, but with a different mindset...and not ended up so butthurt angry.
  8. Can't I be ponified, instead? Pet...hmmm, I don't think I'd really have any as a pet. More like roommate, or something. Although I wouldn't mind being Trixie's pet.
  9. "So, what do you think of this game? Is it any good? It is? Well, in that case, I guess I'll take it - expect a trade in soon, I plan on beating it in ten seconds flat."
  10. So, for the 32nd notes with the blank middles, I *think* what it means is that you'll alternate/tremolo between those two notes at 32nd note speed for the length of one half note. I could be mistaken, but I think that's correct. I have no idea about the next measure, though. Herp. EDIT: Someone answered before, okay awesomeness!
  11. (%@#!, didn't mean to double post, sorry about that. I guess the Great and Powerful one deemed an event such as this one so awesome that it required two posts!) "I - uh - did you- I- Trixie, ummm..." *blink blink* And then I would promptly collapse onto the floor, because the Great and Powerfulness of it would be too much for me to comprehend.

  13. Wine is quite nice. I never said that though, I can't legally know what that tastes like. I'll probably end up going for lighter, fruity beers and such things if I even drink, when I can legally XD.
  14. Dreams, dreams, dreams! Is there anyone that doesn't like them? Personally, I think even nightmares are awesome - terrifying when asleep, and upon awakening, but soon after you'll have an epic story to tell to all your buddies about how your own subconscious scared the crap out of you! I have made this thread in the hopes that it can become a place for all of us to share our dreams and discuss any topics related to dreams. So...post away! Are there any dreams that you had long ago that you still remember vividly because of their awesomeness? Ever had a lucid dream? Didja dream last night? What about?! Not exactly dreams but - ever been sleep-deprived enough to hallucinate? Once, as I was lying in bed super sleepy (but eyes open), for three or so seconds I watched the shadow of a man, in the middle of my room, get into a position much like a runner would right before a race - and then it was gone XD. Just some ideas. Share away, I'm excited to hear what you all dream about! I'll make a post with some of my dreams and whatnot soon~ ...oh, wait a minute, I forgot what is obviously the most important thing to ask! Have you ever had a dream with ponies in it?
  15. Wine is quite nice. But no, I've never posted on these forums drunk - this is only my 9th post, after all! Besides that, I've never been drunk. I can't drink, legally xD. Although I have drank wine before. It's rather tasty. As for beer, I didn't really like the stuff (my mom gives me sips once in a blue moon) - except for a few varieties with really low alchohol content, or whatever, and fruity flavors xD. Wine has made my head feel tingly though :B
  16. Well, I know it's all said and done, and I'm immensely happy that these wackos aren't scaring you anymore. If you're still unsure whether or not to openly say you're brony, at things such as school and whatnot, maybe try letting people know very gradually. Heck, try to make some of your friends bronies! Trust me - if you have one friend in school, or who's with you often that is also a brony, you're going to feel a lot better. If that had already been said earlier in the thread, or it's irrelevant, sorry XD Too sleepy to think straight! As a side note - if any priest of the Catholic church says vile things about people with homosexual tendencies, they are dead wrong. Pope Benedict XVI himself stated that "...the inclination of the homosexual person is not a sin..." (although he did, following that statement, say that it is often a very strong tendency towards sin). Cardinal Ratzinger also said (forgive me for not remembering the exact quote at the moment) that it disgusts him, and it is a horrible thing that a homosexual should be the subject of any violence or hatred/harassment because of their tendencies - that Church pastors should condemn any such behavior, and teach that homosexuals should indeed be loved and tolerated. That is not to say that the church believes gay marriage, or homosexual actions are not sins - yes, they are, but the tendency towards homosexuality is not. I guess it can be likened to the sin of gluttony (or any other temptation!), in a way - is the desire to continue eating amazing, delectable foods, even after you've had your fill, a sin? No - to hold someone accountable of what they are tempted to do would be absolutely, utterly preposterous. Acting on that temptation and eating way more than you should however, would be a sin. I've always been a Catholic, myself - do I believe gay marriage is a sin? Yeah, I do. Would I ever not be friends with someone who's homosexual? Of course I'd be friends with them, man. I've had some pretty awesome friends who also happen to be homosexual. Hate the sin, not the sinner...just as long as they don't go hitting on me ;P. Anyways...I've sort of rambled off a bit. Very sorry for that. Again, I'm glad these guys have stopped freaking harassing you. That's absolutely insane - they should be ashamed of themselves.
  17. My most recently acquired piece of Brony merchandise is also my all-time favorite: I love that hat and cape. So much.
  18. Why, only the greatest and most powerful, most awe-inspiring and beautiful, amazing and magnificent pony in all of Equestria of course! I'd settle for nothing less! That's me. Of course. Who else? Not part of the Mane 6 you say? I'm the Mane 1! As if any other pony were nearly as important (or powerful or great) as me. Please.
  19. I became a brony sometime in June of last year. It was a fairly hot summer's day with nothing going on, and I, as always, was lying down on the hotel room couch with my laptop comfortably positioned on my lap, or knees or some such. I was being pushed closer and closer to insanity by the mind numbing boredom, and it got to the point where my brain was looking for anything at all that could possibly entertain me. Finally, it settled on a possibility - Hey you! Check out that old chatroom from that guild you used to be in 2 years ago! I bet it's still running! Well, good idea brain! I'll go do that! As I logged in to my account and whatnot, another thought crossed my mind - I should introduce these guys to my favorite show ever! Not My Little Pony - not at that point in time at least! No, as I logged in, I had firmly resolved to introduce my old guildmates to the show that goes by the name 'Happy Tree Friends'. Go figure! So I logged in the chatroom, and greeted the two others that were there. Following that, I set my plan in motion! "Hey guys, know what's an awesome show?" Well - to my surprise, one of my guildmates goes and says - "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" Well - I raised an eyebrow, sure, but I didn't actually give it much thought. I just responded with "Ha, I'll have to give that a try then!", really quickly jotted it down on my mental bucket list, and went about my day. Never did get to show them Happy Tree Friends... About four days later, in another bout of boredom, I remembered the words of my friend... My Little Pony, huh? I guess I'll give it a try! So a trip to youtube and one search later, I was watching Episode One. Hey, this intro is cool. This SHOW is cool! By the end of that day, I had watched the first three episodes. Nothing drastic, but I definitely really liked the show already. It was actually around episode 7 that I realized: "Holy crap, a LOT of people love this show!" How I spent every day on the internet browsing forums and whatnot without seeing stuff about ponies...I have no idea. So, about a week later, I was watching episode 26. Being oblivious, as often is the case, I hadn't realized episode 26 was a finale...so after I finished watching that, I promptly typed in "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic episode 27" into the magical little youtube search bar. To my dismay, I found no episodes. What? Where's episode 27? Has it not been uploaded?! Or...could that have been...the season finale?! To Google! I found out then, much to my dismay, that there had only been twenty six episodes thus far. Well then, no time to waste! Following that discovery, I asked the all knowing google when season 2 would come out! Anyways, I'm rambling - I'm well past the point where I became a brony in this story...so that's it! Great stuff.
  20. I tend to avoid fanfics - I'm not entirely sure of all the reasons why I'm reluctant to read any pony fics, but I do know this is one of them. I mean, it doesn't affect any image I have of anything canon, because well - canon is canon, can't change that! But if the fanfic deals with something like say, backstory that's never been covered, it'll *kind of* change my views about events in episodes I see in the next week or so - and I personally don't like that. I like watching episodes with my mind as pretty much a blank slate - ideally, all I know about the ponies is what the creators choose to tell us...my mind will speculate plenty on its own!
  21. I - uh- WHAT?! Is this even a question?! Really! You're comparing apples and oranges here! Alicorns and Earth Ponies! Why, you're putting the most absolutely amazing, magical, powerful, talented, beautiful, glorious, and magnificent pony on the same level as an intolerable, spoiled little filly! I am the most amazing thing that has ever graced pony eyes, and you're going around asking if somepony thinks I'm worse than Diamond Tiara? You should be banished to the moon for even saying such a thing!
