  1. Mark Named after John Ernest "Johnny" Crawford from "The Rifleman".
  2. What happens is, as a man, you stay the frack out of it! If you have a wife/girlfriend then the saying isn't "Women are never wrong", it's "the woman close to you is never wrong".
  3. I'd like to get a theme song for my oc. His name is FireFox (from the 1982 movie, not the browser). He was raised by his grand parents and had to "grow up" and handle adult problems at an early age. He was very intellegent, but only got average grades in school. He would show up and ace the tests on test days, but wouldn't do homework or class participation. He was in the Equestrian Air Force for 8 years. He couldn't fly, so he would use his magic to make sure the pegasis warning and control system worked smoothly. He has had social anxiety disorder and depression his whole life and his time in the Air Force has only made it a lot worse. the only thing that can make him smile now, for a short time, is a massive dose of Pinkie Pie. Thanks
  4. I would be more than happy to take you up on your offer. I am available between 2200 and 0400 EDT. There are quite a few things I would like to have devined.
  5. I just bought a laptop a few months ago from newegg.com (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834314004). It's a bit out of your budget, but it games well (diablo 3 and WoW maxed, and 1125/6062 in 3dmark fire strike/cloud gate). The Nvidia optimus technology allows the automatic switching between the discrete 730m and the integrated hd4000. I would suggest you save up a little longer and get something similar.
  6. http://youtu.be/cDm_ZHyYTrg I have needs and a soul to sell. How did you get in touch with devil inc?
  7. Granted, but you fail the class. I wish I could figure out how to use Flash to make ponies.
  8. Good grief, of course you didn't offend me. If you got that impression I truly apologize.
  9. I believe my question was for Rainbow Dash to comment or speculate on. My question would require a very thoughtful answer. Everfree we can ponder questions like "What's the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?" another time.
  10. Everfree, it's a good idea, but it's impossible to go faster than light. Quantum gravity, or M-theory, it doesn't matter. Dashie: Is your father still alive? You are mature enough to speculate. If he isn't how would you handle his passing? I'm sure other ponies have the same question and want to know how you would deal with the loss. You are a very stong pony, but even so, I would guess that Twilight, Pinkie, AJ, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Spike would help you through the tough times.
  11. 18 sorry too tired to come up with something creative
  12. Granted, but they are out of beer. I hate to be a kill joy, but shouldn't this be combined with http://mlpforums.com/topic/4490-the-corrupted-wish-game Anyway, I wish I would meet and fall in love with a female around my age, that loves MLP:FiM, other animations, sci-fi, etc. and she loves me as much as I love her. Gah, my signature wasn't working, I reported it and it started working, now it's not!?!?!?!?!
  13. I don't remember if I voted in your poll or not. I have been very busy the last few months. I was born on 30 Sept 1973 and am Male. I love the show and have for quite a while. I was slightly (very slightly) disappointed with the last episode since in my humble opinion it had too many songs and not enough dialog. Don't get me wrong I love the songs, but I think it was a bit too much.
  14. Granted, but you are so afraid of the movies you can't stand to enter the room. I wish I could be 10 years old again.
  15. I have 4 tattoos (foot, leg, shoulder, neck). My avatar is the tattoo on my shoulder. It's been a few years since my last one and I'm wanting to get another one. I have a nasty scar on my wrist I thought could be, at least partially, covered up by rainbow dash's cutie mark.
  16. 1. I have used a rotary phone quite a bit, but not lately. I have also dialed using the switch hook (hang up button). 2. I didn't get internet access until 1995 or so. Before that I had Delphi and various BBS's I would connect to with a 2400 baud modem (you could read the text scrolling on the screen it was so slow). My first high speed internet was an ISDN line that was 2 x 64k channels for a total of 128kbps. 3. The first disaster I can remember was when the shuttle Challenger blew up. I was home sick from school that day and watched it on TV. I was 12 years old. 4. Yes, my family had a couple of tv's that had dials. I remember the day we got cable and it had a wired remote with a rotary dial on it. 5. None of those things had happened yet the last time I read a history book. 6. No, we've all entered the cell phone era. We don't have cell coverage within 18 miles of our house though, so we use them only for emergincies when we are taking a long trip. 7. I have seen 8" floppies and used 5 1/4" and 3 1/2" (single/double sided, double/high density). I do have to say I liked the 5 1/4" a lot better than the 3 1/2" because they didn't get track 0 errors as much. In my job I used reel-reel tape drives on an IBM 360 mainframe. 8. I used the phone book just a couple of days ago. I have a phone book next to the phone in the living room. 9. The first cartoon I fell in love with would probably be Transformers gen 1. I also liked G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, Voltron (I liked the lions better than the vehicles), Animaniacs, Battle of the Planets, Loony Tunes, and Merrie Melodies. 10. Although I can tell a difference, I don't think any of them are "dated". I do think, with a few exceptions, that the animated shows of today don't have nearly the same quality of the older ones.
  17. No, can't say that I have. Of course, I can only say that I've been on one real "date" in my life. Have you ever passed up a popular movie to read a book?
  18. Granted, but after 3 episodes, you find out it's all a dream sequence and none of it actually happened. I wish I didn't have social phobia.
  19. Amen! I served in the U.S. Air Force and feel the same way. MLP:FiM is the only thing that has put a smile on my face in many years. Every time I feel down, I just listen to the Smile song, and everything seems to be a bit better. I've actually dreamed about Pinkie singing the smile song. When it happens I wake up with a smile, and not the nightmares I usually have.
