  1. Well, they already kind of had a thing going with their conversations prior to Act 6, and I guess it just grew from there on the meteor. I think the first mention of a real relationship between them was A6I2, where Karkat talks to himself about how much time Dave's been spending with Terezi and tries to convince Dave to start a Kismesis-ship with her. Later, in A6I3, Karkat's conversation with her reveals that their own relationship is pretty much over, and we see that she's filled her black quadrant with Gamzee. That was probably the geekiest paragraph I've ever written...
  2. "Wait a minute... if you can use magic to make the reels turn, why can't you just magically conjure the projection itself?"
  3. I think we can all agree that presidential debates would be much more interesting. I sometimes try to use excerpts from Broadway songs in conversation, and it always feels awesome. My personal favorite: "You're in a rather good mood today." "Tis your delight, sir, catching fire from one man to the next!" "Tis true, sir, love can still inspire the blood to pound, the heart leap higher! What more..." (This led to my brother and I singing the entire exchange. In an ice cream shop.)

    Elevator

That would be a lot easier if you'd do it first!
  5. All unanswered questions are either "no" or "can't remember." 1. What grade did you learn to type in? And have you ever used an ordinary typewriter, whether it was electric or manual? I was never taught to type, but the first time I was assigned a typed paper was in 4th grade. I typed using only my two index fingers for years, and until 2 years ago still used my left one to hit the space bar. And yes, it was on a PC. 2. What was your first home video game system and what year did you get it? A Playstation, acquired around 2000 if I remember right. I was 4, so... 9. Remember “Be kind, please rewind”? In fact I do! I also remember the ooh's and aah's that filled the room when we first started up our DVD player. 10. Name the first big blockbuster movie you recall watching in a theater that wasn't a re-release. Finding Nemo. I probably went to at least one before that, but that's the only release I remember with any clarity.
  6. 9/10 My new favorite way to rate House music is to play Geometry Wars while listening to it and see how much it adds to the experience. And in that regard, this song is fantastic. Would be 10/10 if the first minute was as exciting as the rest. Speaking of songs that don't have a very exciting beginning...
  7. According to the article, Nintendo doesn't even own the rights to the 3D technology in the 3DS, they just have permission from Sharp to implement it. That's just... sad. On the suer's part, that is. There's absolutely no way their bank account will be anything but more empty by the time this is over.
  8. *Reads some of your posts with a Sherlock Holmes-like deductive monologue in his head* 15?
  9. 7/10. At first it sounded like it was going to be a 9, but once the singing started... that style really isn't my thing. Sorry for posting 3 songs from the same album, but I've been pretty obsessed with it lately:
  10. I miss not having to worry about the future. Aside from schoolwork, there was never anything I had to do to secure my career path (job/college applications, portfolio construction, etc.) and I could spend an entire weekend playing games without a second thought.

    technology Best Antivirus Program?

Nowadays, if you're at least somewhat smart about which sites you visit, you'll never need antivirus. That said, you might as well get something with low memory usage like MSE. You know, just in case.
  12. Classic nacho cheese for me. I don't eat them much in everyday life, but I don't think that there's a better party snack in existence.
  13. Whenever I get home, the first thing I do is MLP Forums, YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, and MS Paint Adventures in different tabs. I do this often enough to justify making them my default Chrome tabs, but I don't want to risk someone asking to use my computer and immediately being bombarded with ponies and Homestuck.
  14. Just watched A Canterlot Wedding again. I had almost forgotten how incredibly well-done it was.

@Batbrony and vows pfft, who cares about them

I'll tell you something though, the film clip and music usually convinces my friends that mlp isn't girly

@Toa: AS IT SHOULD! And if that fails, just bust out the Changeling fight scene! That scene is bucking BEASTLY!!!

  15. I'm the biggest pacifist I know; I hate fighting, arguing, and any other kind of conflict so much that I've actually developed the nickname "Switzerland" in my household. And asparagus. I hate that too.
  16. I've only recently discovered Corn Nuts, but they're now my favorite convenience store snack. They have delicious, savory flavors, can be grabbed by the handful or one at a time, and each bag is filled enough to easily get you twice as much mileage a similarly-sized chip bag. If I want something slightly lighter and more healthy, almonds are my go-to nut. The only problem with them is it's really easy for me to spoil my appetite for meals. If you gave me a kilogram bag of salted almonds, it'd probably be gone within the week.
  17. 8/10! It seems you've found another of the limited number of dubstep-esque songs that tickle my fancy!
  18. Well, this makes my job easy... *pulls lever*
  19. Are you sure that this painting is finished? I mean, couldn't it use just a bit more red?
  20. The first few weeks after I bought Skyrim, I would play it for hours on end each and every day, but I eventually lost interest. Same story with Team Fortress 2 and Super Smash Bros Brawl. Probably my greatest obsession, one which spanned months on end, was with Minecraft. I built so many houses, looted so many caverns, and spent so many hours designing complex strip mining methods it's ridiculous. And this was in Alpha! Even before hunger, leveling, generated structures, enchantments, potions, and bosses, it kept me occupied like nothing else. I don't play much nowadays, but when first discovering the game and getting to know the strategy involved was one of the best gaming experiences of my life.
  21. I can't believe that Brave beat Wreck-It Ralph for Best Animated Feature. It was a pretty good movie, but Ralph felt so much bigger and more imaginative, and I was way more attached to the characters emotionally. I have to say, though, Argo was a good choice for Best Picture. I liked Django Unchained and Les Misérables better for sheer entertainment value, but Argo was an excellent example of a "based on a true story" movie that's both exciting and tasteful.
  22. Rainbow Dash, of course. She always dresses in style. Parlez-vous français?
  23. ...can we both agree that this didn't happen? No? Well okay then, have a nice life.
  24. There are a couple that I don't really care to see again (Baby Cakes, Dragon's Quest...), but I've seen most episodes twice, some three times, and a select few even more times than that. FiM is one of those show's that's great to have on in the background while you're doing something else, or to watch before bed as mind bleach. You'd need it too, if you'd seen what I have... (jk)
  25. 9,001/10,000. The Zygen is unstoppable.
