Gonna be the out-of-place one who explicitly listens to Christian Metal and all varieties of it. Built the following playlist myself. Still adding when a band comes out with something new, looking forward to (AFTER THREE YEARS) Oh, Sleeper's new stuff this summer.

Title track from the Megadeth camp! I'm getting a 'She wolf' vibe from this song.

God, that's beastly. Been awhile since their last one, right?

This is not a music video or a song.

Since this is a thread dedicated to the sub-genre and culture of metal, it's time to bring up an issue that needs discussion.

I'll let Mr. Robb Flynn of Machine Head and the actions of one Phillip H. Anselmo, formerly of Pantera, explain themselves.

Amazing song from a not very well known Australian band:

Ok so....I've known this band for quite a while now and I think by now they are my favourite melodic death metal band by far, I should have posted this a while ago but I'll do it now anyway....this is by far the best song that they have composed.

I love it so much....

Other metalhead MLP fans??? Nice! Got straight into 'extreme metal' over 15 years ago. First it was all black metal. Hard to get back then here in Canada. Got a little into death metal. Most violent crazy mosh pits ever!! Then viking, pagan, folk metal started and that's been my passion forever. Greatest band ever...Primordial!

@@PictiPie,

A fellow metal head brony, AND Canadian!??? My people.

I know a couple really good pagan metal bands too. Check these out.

This band was started with a lead vocalist you might know by the name of Vortex. He was the clean vocalist for Dimmu Borgir before Shagrath kicked him out. He went back to this band after.

Yes....love Arona. Seen Borknagar live once probably 10-14 years ago. Lol back when the some of the grandfather's of those genres actually came to Canada. I even remember seeing Emperor almost 15 years or more ago. Lol

That's awesome. I would love to see them. I was at Heavy MTL last August though, lots of awesome music there.
Mind if I ask which province you're from? I'm around Southwestern Ontario.

This is one I like, though usually this genre is hit and miss for me. I really love the synth in the background, kind of gamecore-ish.

Hey. You all remember 'Turn down for what?' Right? Ever what that would sound like as a metal track?

Ever wonder what it woudl sound like as a metal track feature Ice-T?

Well wonder no more!

Posting link since I don't know where a strip club would rank on this forum's NSFW scale

I'm not a huge metal fan, but I do enjoy listening to it some times. Some of the bands I like listening to are All That Remains(Fall of Ideals and their previous albums), Killswitch Engage, and System of a Down.

In regards to Phil Anselmo of Pantera, I find it disappointing that fans were actually defending him. However, he did later apologize for it, but I think the damage has been done at this point. Thanks to him I discovered the band All Shall Perish.

Here's Lebensgefahr by Raubtier. Industrial metal is one of my favorite subgenres, but it's surprisingly difficult for me to find any really good bands. If anybody's got any band suggestions, let me know.
