I love black metal, especially with a bit of folk blended in. This is not the most traditional piece of black metal, far from it, but it's still a masterpiece and I love it to death.

My favorite metal band comes straight from the Pagan Metal genre.

Ensiferum.

I'm sure at least some of you have heard "Into Battle".

Cradle of Filth was a huge inspiration in high school for me. I really loved Nymphetamine, Damnation and a day, and Midian. Then Godspeed on the devil's thunder came out, and it was also really good. Then Thornography happened, and I lost my interest.

Lately though, I've been seeing some redemption. These are pretty amazing.
