I will post a list of my top 10 favorite artists. (Not in a specific order or rank system)

 

Dream Theater - (probably my favorite, prog rock bronys unite!)

I'm mainly a fan of electronic music. House is my all-time favourite genre, but if we want to get specific, then it's French House. Frenchies really know how to create a funky song while still playable in a club. 

 

But I also like other non-electronic genres such as Jazz, Gospel, a little bit of Rap, some Classical, Psychedelic Rock, etc..

I walk a fine line between hip hop and dubstep. I usually listen to big L, Eminem, Schholboy q, ASAP Rocky, Skrillex, Modestep, Excision.

Dubstep, rock, my favorite rock band is Foo Fighters, along with White Stripes, and Muse. And like what Ziggy said, video game music does really well for me, like the boss fight's music in legend of zelda twilight princess

Tribal, a genre I am exploring more

Orchestral, no specific artists to name just yet.

Piano, a good song as an example is A Distance There Is by Theatre of Tragedy

Dubstep, A genre that I feel is really good but also a little overrated somewhat. Melodic dubstep is surprisingly really neat and so is tribal dubstep. That's a thing.

And many, many others. Country and rap are the two genre's that I cannot get into at all, especially country.

 

Those are just some examples, I may list more eventually.

Generally I stick to the punk rock genre, but nothing too heavy. Bands like My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, All Time Low and Paramore. That kinda thing.

Oh, and I like alternative pop as well. Indie rock is cool too.

Virtually every other genre, whether the standard Rock, Classical, Electronica, I probably have listened to it for some extent. Personal favorites are Acid House, Irish Folk, and Filk. Actually developed a small accent from singing along to the Irish folk music, it seems.
