Yeah, the size comparison sounds about right, though full disclosure: Kaltrops is likely a good deal more robust than Nerzhei. She might be taller, but she's not a mountain of muscles. More lean in it.

   Aye, that's kind of what I figure. Sort of Earthpony to Pegasus relation.

  See, think you said Nerzhei gots wings too, but she's also more ground-based, bipedal and has been in a scrap or two. Kaltrop is quadrupedal and built for flight. More for skulking & posing than actually fighting. Sort of bird bodied too, you know? Lighter bones, thinner muscles. Like why Rock-types are good against Bird-types, a good thrown rock downs a bird pretty well. Not that I've done that...

   I've always assumed that flight means fragility. Sure some of the big boss dragons we've seen in the show have fitting wings & can no doubt fly, but they're still built like tanks and are more suitable on the ground.

 Kind of like how I hazard that a pegusai's strength is more for agility & finesse rather than sturdy, constant, cart-pulling strength like an earth pony.

 Basically! My draggie ain't meant to be a fighter! Not near as much as he talks about it!

 

    Oh, uh, and one more thing? What do I do with Ambie now? Didn't pretty much every pony just say goodbye and leave up crumpled up on the dining room floor, only partially awake? Sh-shouldn't I also get him to bed? I mean, he still hasn't delivered that load of wood, but he does have a place down on the Apple farm, which would probably mean one of the apples should have to come get him and....

  Oh, and Widdershins has put Smokey down on his hooves.

 You still playin' @Twilight-Shimmer? There's still a pet birdy for Snissy to take care of, not to mention a lil' mouthy box added in! You gonna have to drop here then if ya ain't got the time anymore? Sadface Emoticon!

I sorta figured that you'd see happy Hour transform back to a pony and trying to skulk off as a way to keep it going with Ambie. I figure he might have some questions after all that happened, and the magical issues that just popped up, or at least ends up being curious and/or not having anything else to do.

And understood with Smokey. I'll keep that in mind.

As for the dragon thing, sounds good. And a nice Pokemon reference in for good measure.

You can have spike answer it, aye. Just remember that Twilight can't be there. Seamore seems to be busy these days so I wouldn't want to burden him too much. So Spike's the master of the house for the time being.

As for the other RP, I'll try to remember it another time, but a busy day today and I tend to forget, so sorry in advance if I miss it. :/

I figure a common thing in a somewhat peace-treaty between the dragons and ponies is that the dragons aren't allowed to eat ponies. Besides, they likely be all tough and stringy in it. Deer is more where its at.

  As to eating ponies, as I've stated before, doesn't matter what your capable of, Ponykind is the dominant lifeform on this planet/dimension. Bigger numbers, better technology, better organized government (that isn't still in Fight-For-Supremacy stages) ...and a Leader that has an orbital friendship lazer cannon growing out of her forehead. If legal action had to fall on your head and you was to become a wanted draggie, ain' nothin' gonna save your head. In fact, think  your powers pretty much are close to Tirek's and Twilight left him a smear on the ground. ...Literally. I'm... pretty sure he done got blowed up.

   Not that I don't love dragons bottomlessly myself. I'm just saying, that's why Knights are the Dragons' natural enemy/predator. You can eat every armored do-gooder you want... but there will always, always be an angry mob of humans stampeding after. Humans are like zombies that way. Frankly, I keep forgetting the difference!

  See! What I'm aiming at here is for Phoenix to wake up screaming, but like is often the case with dreams, not know why! And since @Blitz Boom's Smokey Stallion just walked into the tent as she's screaming, she'll have to somehow explain it & confide to him in the process! And he'll have to calm her enough, in some fashion, sos they can both go to sleep for the rest of the night!

   ...Leaving me with the demonlass! ...though I do have a history with demons.

  If anything, We consider demons an interdimensional parallel to Drakkongosqueeshes.

  Anyway! I had kinda planned to Bamf Like a Boss out of there at the end of my sentences! BecauseIcandothatyouknow. But I gotta playmate now to be grumpy at cannonically!

I'm game enough for the plan, and I can have Smokey stay awake for the time being with all the distractions going on and such right now until the time's right, but I'll wait until Phoenix says if she's game for waking up with a scream and have Smokey rush in.

Also, I think it's a 50/50 on whatever or not she won't just clock him out for whatever reason, which is fine too. ^^ What's a little unconsciousness among friends?

Wanna cover something for you too Widders. Vivid is not too fond of draconequui since the whole *Discord trapping her for millennia* thing went down, regardless of it actually being a blessing in disguise, however she isn't going to outright attack him or get too distracted by his presence, unless he starts messing with Briar. She's there to fulfill her part of their bargain, and you don't get between her and her target. :3

.....I just realized that knowing you, this will just make you more likely to meddle in this. I really should have thought this through.

P.S. Go for Last Stand. I could always use more reasons for her to want to carve Widdershins into sushi. ^^

   Do think you forget what my initial.... uhhhhh.... genesis/concept is.  Me, Slicky Widdy if you wish to call me, am basically a TarBaby.  Which is a thing from Briar Rabbit, an American Folktale thingie.   See, thing is, you can't get rid of me by the concept of what I am. You did just turn me into ash, after all! You can't do anything to get me off of you.... weeell, other than hurting my feelings...

  I am immortal, completely incapable of the results of dying.... but that doesn't mean I don't hurt.

   ...but I'm certainly not gonna stop ya from trying!   *ear waggle and a groucho marx-style waggle of a cigar end*

Edit: I don't mean to powerplay. ...Okay, maybe a little bit. Read you're stuff on her though & it's probably my favorite of your stories thus far! I see a few parallels there between them, but mostly... I kind of see Widdershins as just a soul propping up a form. Like, if changelings eat emotions & emotions form souls, then theoretically one could just bite through him like an apple. Barring that, as he is a purely magical-functioning being it should be pretty easy to bind him to an object like Genies are with their lamps, but if Vivid Loss has soul-based powers he's likely, if anything more solid & stable to her than anybeing else. Like, wad him up into a ball & toss him away like so many Looney Toons are prone to.

  He's not so much invulnerable as his immortality grants him a cartoonish ability to rebound from anything. Something I ought get used to myself.

I've brought in my character for the Element of Betrayal, but I have no idea what direction he should be headed...  who's involved in that story arch right now?

 

Also, I'm starting a big story arch between separate groups in the roleplay, and was wondering if @Moonlit would be interested in a possible underwater adventure eventually (not anytime soon because other story elements need to fall into place first, such as Charlie getting a body)?  It's going to be tied in part to the situation Zhu is in right now, so you might want to pay attention to my next few posts there.
