Haruhi-chan 486 September 14, 2014 Share September 14, 2014 I think the proper term for it is insomnia. I struggle with it ALL the time. In fact, I'm dealing with it right now as I type this. Most of it is due to the stimulant I take for my ADHD, which I've tried to stop taking. It didn't go over very well. Anyway, what about you guys? Do you have any trouble sleeping? Maybe going to sleep? 5 x Haruhi Suzumiya x goddess of the world twitter
NavelColt 22,880 September 14, 2014 Share September 14, 2014 Sort of. I'm not sure if I have natural insomnia, but I'm a stubborn night owl, who naturally doesn't fall asleep easily. I have friends who can go from talking to snoring in the space of two minutes, whereas, I can only fall asleep when in a bed, in the dark, with blankets, etc, and it takes at least fifteen to twenty minutes. Doesn't matter how tired or not tired I was before-hand, because that never changes regardless.
Haruhi-chan 486 September 14, 2014 Author Share September 14, 2014 (edited) I kind of have this routine I have to follow before I can sleep. My fan has to be on, my TV and laptop have to stay on (I hate pitch darkness), I have to have my plushies to snuggle with and there's lots more. I just can't think of it right now. I think the talk of sleep paralysis in another thread kind of scared me a little. Most of the time, I usually can't sleep at all. I've tried everything to help me get some sleep too, and I think I'm just going to give up on that. Nothing is going to be able to combat the concerta, now matter how hard I try. Andaasonsan 3,205 September 14, 2014 Share September 14, 2014 I've had it my whole life. Sometimes I can get my sleep cycle to where it should be, but then if I stay up late one night it starts all over. 2 Application REJECTED!
Invincible 2,091 September 14, 2014 Share September 14, 2014 I never sleep more than 5 or 6 hours unless i'm terribly tired. I do however, take naps. I was hyper as a child, and it seems my body has finally caught up with me. M'aiq the Liar 5,804 September 14, 2014 Share September 14, 2014 I can fall asleep almost anywhere at this point in my life, after sleeping in various Humvee's and in the middle of a mortar attack. I used to have issue with sleeping alone (as in no one around in my house or in the same room as me) when I first returned home, but soon after I was able to fall back into a normal night-shift sleep schedule. The biggest issue I have is changing sleep routines as it takes me almost a month to go from working at night and sleeping days to the opposite. 1 http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/vera-yeoman-r5921Muh pleb tier OC .http://mlpforums.com/blog/1663/entry-12477-pony-waifu-wedding-13-maiq-x-fleetfoot/ MLP forum's #1 Fleetfoot fan also married to fleetfoot <

Frostgage 7,975 September 14, 2014 Share September 14, 2014 Hmm, not particularly. Sometimes it takes me a very long time to actually fall asleep, but I'm always very relaxed while waiting. Elegance 586 September 14, 2014 Share September 14, 2014 I sometimes have trouble sleeping. I don't have insomnia or anything but for some reason, I end up staying up all night because I can't even close my eyes for two seconds! And no, I don't use my phone to bed. I only use it to text my friends but other than that I don't use it. I always wait one hour after using my laptop so my brain activity goes down so I can sleep easier. 1 Oh you don't like Rarity? Nightfall Gloam 18,260 September 14, 2014 Share September 14, 2014 I have started to struggle with sleep in recent days (probably because I expose myself to too much 'scary' content on the web). I usually can deal with my sleep issues by turning lights near my room on and reminding myself that what I'm scared of is not real and that there is nothing behind (or around) me. However, I feel like I need to do something to get rid of all my paranoia, insanity and fear of the dark so that I don't need to do any of the aforementioned actions. 2 Aspiring animator/illustrator, founder of MLPF's Lighthoof and Shimmy Shake fan club! SparklingSquirrels 21,342 September 14, 2014 Share September 14, 2014 Nope, I don't struggle with sleeping; I can pretty much fall asleep at whatever time I want (as long as it's not too early... and sometimes it's hard for me to sleep if I feel sick, or if I'm really upset/saddened by something). 1 ֍֎֍֎

I'm a narcoleptic myself. I sleep too much during the day as well, but I wake up at least 3 or 4 times every single night. iceestarz 5,764 September 16, 2014 Share September 16, 2014 I used to take till like midnight maybe even 1 in the morning on a school day to fall asleep like 2 years ago. Sometimes I wouldn't even be able to fall asleep and I ended up staying up for like 35 hours straight before walking into my closet and collapsing from exhaustion. But I can't do anything but fall asleep early lately. Like whenever I'm at a friend's house I'll be knocked out by 10:30. My best friend always get pissed off because I'm always asleep by that time and he's up till like 1 in the morning playing Mirrors Edge by himself while I snooze on his bed.

AkiraLeeJounouchi 857 September 16, 2014 Share September 16, 2014 (edited) All of the time. I used to able to go to sleep around 9pm, then 10pm, then 11pm, Now it's all 12:30 - 2:00am, with the most frequent being 1:00am. I think it's the internet, but then again why is it does my brain waits until last min to remeber something that I had to do online? Other times it's cuz my brain gets active at night. Contemplating about TV show theories, mainly PR, SS and Doctor Who. Or what the other day is gonna be like. IT's a mess. Eventually I do sleep.
