"Heheh, yeah... I guess I've been spending too much time with the kids." Trinket attempted at finding an excuse for the terrible puns. Perhaps when she was around playing with the little ones, they wouldn't be so picky towards having top-notch comedic skills. After all, the puns did work on them, to some extent. Case in point, Fah'lina seemed to respond rather well to the situation.

"Huh?" She focused on the small creature, trying hard to translate her body language. "Have you... Uhm... Have you got a belly ache?... Are... uh... Are you gonna throw up? Up?... Throw up... far away? Far away... Far... Fah'lina... Fah... Fah' away?" Trinket kept on trying to decipher the charade, herself oblivious to what she was saying.

"Ah! Run Fah' away!?"

@@Driz,@@Blitz Boom, Serenade is still fiddling with the locket when several things happen at once, an almost impossible set of circumstances but given recent events around Ponyville, the impossible seemed to be possible now. The band holding the locket in place snaps, gravity taking hold of it. It bounces off the table, breaking the lock holding it close and sending the gem and the locket spiraling to the ground. Serenade's eyes snap open and begin to track the gem on it's downward trip.

The locket hits the ground first with a metallic tink, followed by the gem which lands on one of it's facets. For a fraction of a second, time stands still then the gem SHATTERS. Serenade has only a split second to think 'oh horseapples' before she starts to feel the spells start to fail.

Now in the dream halls, Charlie led the way toward Dr. Xeno's door. It wasn't far away, but something was off. There wasn't a doorknob. Instead, on the wall next to the door was a button like you would see next to an elevator. There was only one direction: down. "This isn't good. He must be on a deeper level of consciousness. You can expect excessive realism. Things in there will provoke much stronger emotion than normal. It has been described to me as 'beyond real' by my instructors. It's safer to go in as a group as we won't all experience the same emotions and can use that to pull each other through. I'm sorry, but our little adventure just turned into a rescue mission," Charlie said in a serious tone. Then cheerfully turning to look up toward Vivid, Charlie added, "This could be fun." There was also an assumption that Vivid would press the button, because she was closer.

"One moment," the salespony said before getting a scoop and filling a serving box with fresh berries, then presented it to Zhu. "That'll be one bit, sir," she added. Just then, while her back was turned on her cart, it started to roll ever so slowly down the hill, not fast enough that the salespony would notice yet.

"Each thirty count box is twelve bits, which would bring the total of twelve boxes to a hundred and forty four bits, but I'd be willing to offer a significant discount for such a large order. How about we call it one twenty and make it a baker's dozen?" Penny's sales tactics were simple, get them interested then give them a deal that's too good to refuse. Her chocolates were already extremely cheap for what they did, although they were still priced above the cost of the average everyday chocolates.

Penny's reaction to the Pegasus was as polite as she could be, saying, "That's the warming chocolate, and I'll explain it to you fully as soon as the two of us finish discussing a transaction, though if you'd rather let the chocolate do the talking, everypony gets one free sample."

"I know that whatever demon you have encountered, is a low-rung idiot."

Vivid wasn't sure what exactly she had expected when she me this friend of Star, but the mess that had greeted her surely wasn't. She were far too damaged to make sense of, considering she had made a deal with a demon that wanted to take over her body at times. If that was a want, then why not do like most of their kin when they took a host, and repair it? It wasn't exactly a hard thing to do.

"I mean, just look at the sloppy work. Damaged eye, wings, body in general and scars around, and it decides not to fix that up? What sort of self-respecting demon doesn't simply fix this with a bit of magic, or know at least one skin walker who have access to spare parts to correct some wrongs, such as what I assume is a broken or missing eye?"

It really was disgraceful, and frankly pathetic in her eyes that this hadn't been fixed. Perhaps it didn't need to be much more than saving her life, sure, but it was standard to repair the shell then to sweeten the deal some, and especially if it were supposed to be used as a vessel at times. What exactly did the demon think? To suddenly pop in and limber around?

"Who is it that you made your pact with? Demonic can be hard to speak for most outside their domain, but perhaps it have given you a name to say that fits your tongue at least. Something to use if say, I wished to summon the little gnat out of the pit and force its hooves? It hardly seems fair as it stands now at least."

Ziggy got back to reality a few seconds too slow it seemed, as she didn't get the chance to see the gem that keeps Serenade in her pony form for more than a brief blink of an eyes, before it shatters on the floor. Perhaps if she had been  more aware, she could have done something and swooped over to save it, but as she realizes what this means for Serenade's disguise, she doesn't have the time for regret just yet. The guilt would have to wait until after she had tried to hide away her siren friend. Hopefully before Trinket would start to notice things too, though she had no idea how long it would be before it went badly as she zoomed over to her friend and began to carry/push her towards the pool as best she could.

"It's okay Serenade, I'm here, I'll help you. We'll get you through this."

Meanwhile, Fah'lina looked at the spectacle and let out a small sigh. She had seen before what happened when the siren didn't have her disguise on, so seeing the siren in her true form wasn't going to surprise her. However, she seemed to recall there being talk about others not having to see this form, or there could be trouble, and since trouble could mean that she wouldn't get fed... Well, there were a reason why she jumped Trinket and did what she could - without opening her jaws wide again - to abrupt the pony's field of vision.

It would be a few seconds of silence before a whisper would blow towards the two, carrying her voice, but also a place to wander, like the last time they had been here. Though this time, the pillar they were asked to aim for were the third, instead of the one they had used the first time here. Which meant that it would be an item that wasn't of Equestrian design, though wherever it then came from wasn't told. Omen didn't even knew, as this item were older than her, or at least her memories, and the sibling that had brought it home hadn't been home for a long, long time.Likely he had died, but it were hard to tell sometimes when it came to them.

Regardless, Omen lifted a piece of the ground for the two of them, which then hovered towards the pillar in question. It wasn't too far, but it would be a few minutes regardless.

"It's good that Mother haves the time to speak with us. Sometimes it can be a while after new siblings come before she can. She says it makes her tired, and in need of rest."

The direct manner in how Mother made new siblings were unknown to Omen and her kin, but she doubted it were the same way as ponies did, for example. She never saw others like Mother anywhere, and never had it been heard that one like that had come to this place.

Some of them guessed that Mother just used parts of herself, alongside the strange crystal in her room, to do so. An ability that came from whatever being a *reaper* were, as Mother called herself, though they really hadn't a clue. She were a strange creature that none of them were likely to ever fathom, but it mattered little to them anyway. They just needed to know who she were, not what, and that they at least knew.

Happy looked oddly disappointed when he were told that Alexis came from a world where they could make a portal between worlds, and had magic, even if it were rather limited. In fact, he even went so far as to let out a small sigh and shake his head a little as he turned around and picked up the apple cider.

"I gotta admit, I had hoped that you had said that where you came from didn't have magic, nor the tech to make portals. Would have given me a little sliver of hope."

The human world he came from had technology, no doubt about that, but even if their lives were ruled by it, advancements were slow, and mostly lead by the gaming creators. In most other regards, it moved at a snails pace that could span decades or centuries before something ground breaking came through. And something that were as stable as a guaranteed method to travel between world? Not a chance in at least a century or two he'd wager. They could barely even make a rocket safely fly towards the moon, so what chance would they have here?

"Guess that doesn't make much sense, but then again, doesn't either that a human from another dimension is suddenly here, so what do I know? Guess it'll work better to just show and tell."

He hadn't originally planned on doing this, but it were at this point guaranteed that he couldn't take this human in for his queen, as her magic and proven technological means would likely prove too much of a bother to be worth it, especially since she likely had some other tech things to work with that he just wasn't seeing, like a light saber, or some other futuristic thing. Which meant that she might be a danger instead of a boon, especially since he were a good proof that even if they did convert her, her mind wouldn't be affected enough by the hivemind to force her to do anything.

Still, he could have just kept up the facades regardless, and then see what he might be able to gain from this human still, but frankly, checking her response to something strange like his actual self could also prove enlightening, and in case he were spotted later on, could potentially get him an ally, instead of just another that would want to burn him on a pyre. She'd be more likely to understand his actual self at least than most ponykin, and any ally he could gain in an unfortunate situation the better really.

Plus, if she did find it wonky, who'd she tell anyway? She was a human, and Happy knew how to keep his disguise up well, which would make it a word between a pony and a fairy tale in most eyes, which would be a situation to his advantage.

"See, this world, we got a lot of sentient life, Alexis. The regular ones in places like here, in Equestria, are unicorns, pegasi, and earth ponies, with the rulers of this country being alicorns. A mixture of all three basically. Beyond that there are those like zebras are more of a fringe group, like dragons outside of their homelands, but they do exist here, and a few, strange creatures like diamond dogs, which I don't know if I'd describe as that sentient. They speak, but they're rather stupid.

There's also a sort of bug pony variation, called changelings. You'd likely understand it better if you think of it as a shapeshifter. They can hide in many forms, and at times will convert others to their ranks for various reasons, though mostly because their queen asks for it. Changelings in hives are rather... Problematic creatures, and are quite vicious really. Here, let me give you a visual."

A flash of jade green fire went over him, and after it were done, he had changed over into his changeling disguise, though it were lankier than the regular ones. Smaller than that tended to irk him.

"No need to be alarmed though, I'm not with a hive. In fact, there are a great deal who is starting to roam the lands and just try to mingle with the regular ponies and have a life as frankly, the life in a hive is horrid.

However, whilst this is the regular form of a changeling, it ain't mine. I just use it as a visual. See, I wasn't born a changeling, nor converted from a pony. Heck, I didn't even come from here. I just fell through a hole in the air some years ago and got picked up by a hive that thought they would try and convert me. Guess you can say they were successful."

Another flash of green went over him, though this time, it'd be a much more humanized version that would be standing before Alexis.

ZWdx8RA.png

(The creator I used couldn't put holes in legs and arms. Imagine they're there)

He looked rather much like a rather dark human, but the differences were easy enough to see even at a short glance. His toes and fingers were clawed, the holes in the hands and legs - a changeling trait that he hadn't gotten away from in this form either - and the horn were easy to spot. The wing were too, though these weren't regular changeling ones. Instead, they were much like a pegasus would have, or considering his generally human look, an angel of sorts.

The metal plate he had around his neck before fell to the ground with a slight clang, which gave a better view of the chain and key that it had protected, but considering everything, it was a secondary thing to wonder about he'd say, as he stretched a bit and let his long hair and tail flow a little in the wind.

"Never seen another human here, so I had sort of hoped that I wasn't alone in this boat anymore, but it sounds like you're not from my home. Not a drop of magic there. Oh right, and before I forget, your cider."

His horn glowed slightly, see-through green, and an aura of the same color grabbed hold of the bottle, hovering it forward towards Alexis, whilst Happy stood with his arms to the side, and open palms, as to try and appear somewhat less threatening. Which were likely easier said than done for a mutated human like himself, but everything counted.

"Oh cool. I've never met somepony from Manehatten before. The books says it is all kinds of strange compared to Ponyville though, but I guess we're strange to you then too? Hard to tell, hard to know, but that's okay."

It seemed like Blitz accepted the explanation she got with open hooves, though there were still questions that could be asked if you wanted to about this whole thing. Still, she were rather gullible, and liked to think that everypony told the truth, so if this were the reason according to Ametrine, then it was true.

Besides, it made sense considering she heard that Manehatten were one of the big cities, and the bigger the town, the more problems they'd likely have. Ponyville were pretty small, and it had all sorts of danger happening to it at times, so going by that logic, Manehatten would likely make you need to have a sword or something to get by. Perfectly logical, at least to her.

"I read Manehatten is a pretty big place with buildings that goes into the sky, but I've never been there. I think. Sounds like if I ever do, I should bring some bombs, just to be sure. Usually scares bad things away."

"The pup had these embedded into him when I found him. I assume that he hid somewhere whilst the town got attacked that had these in them, though it is of little importance to me. I just figured it best to remove them, and brought the creature to the forest for some privacy whilst doing this."

It wasn't the only reason, as she could have just yanked out all the pins in the city and be done with it, which would have been more painful for the pup, but substantially faster. However, considering how deep the pins had gotten, it had poked at the layers beneath the outer bark, which meant that there would be sap on them, and timberwolf sap were something she could use, even if it were simply in small amounts, like what would cling to the pins.

"As for the needle, it contains a minor knock-out brew. Meant for self defense primarily."

In this case it were anyway, though other times, she had some other *brews* for other situation. Be it paralytic in nature, neurotoxins, petrifying brews, and a whole slew of other things, she usually had a liquid for most situations. Just like she had before, with the previous needle, which were a changeling specific poison that would infect them with an illness that did not spell good news for them. Not in a way that were lethal, but enough to make it preferable, depending on the dosage.

Interestingly, timberwolf sap were a key ingredient in that particular concoction, but that were likely not something she should mention here. It weren't something that worked unless distilled the right way regardless, so it wasn't a danger to the hybrid, which meant that it were less important in her mind to mention.

Though, she would soon have other things on her mind too. As another pin were plucked from the pup, one could see that only three were left. After that were done, the pup would likely run towards his owner, if that indeed were what Ginger were. They'd see soon enough, or if her intentions were something else and she were trying to trick Belladonna..

About an hour after he fell asleep, there would be a knocking on Lance's door, followed by a cheery, smooth voice that seemed to belong to somepony who knew he were there.

"Lance, have you arrived yet? It is I, Alonsus, your joyful coworker."

RwesyXt.png

Alonsus were an... Interesting pony. Much like Lance, he had come to town at one point, and to this day still did his faithful service to Bot Doggers, as they were the only ones willing to give him a chance. Some bad choices in his earlier life had led him to prison, amongst other things, and as he tried to look for a fresh start after his time had served, he had eventually come out here.

The pay wasn't exactly massive, and not all days were what you could consider good, but Alonsus greatly enjoyed it regardless, and took pride in doing his best for the boss that had been willing to give him a chance despite his previous life, as well as his sometimes odd behavior now

Nothing serious like violence, as he had left that behind himself a long time ago, but he were a little dramatic and acted at times like he were in a play for some reason. To some it were endearing, to others it made him obnoxious, but he didn't annoy that many thankfully. Even to those who saw his behavior at times as being annoying couldn't deny that he were essentially harmless, and most had ignored worse.

But that was work days, and the few social interactions he attempted now and again in his off hours when he wasn't training. Right now however, he were out to speak with his new coworker, that he had been told would arrive today. He carried a message from the boss that had earlier been shared with a few others beyond himself, and Alonsus had gracefully stepped in and said that he would do his to pass things along to the new pebble in town as well.

It were the second time he had been over and knock here now actually. A few hours ago, he had also tried, but nopony had been there. Yet this time he felt confident that whoever this Lance were, wouldn't still be outside of town, and would indeed soon open the doors for him, the great Alonsus Merrywind, so that he could bring this important message to his ears. He would gaze upon the elegant, but bulky stallion that would stand at his door, and be in awe.

Surely, this would be the outcome. Alonsus simply had to wait for the pony to come to the door.

Chow placed a hoof on Misty's shoulder, and looked at her seriously.

"Misty, I don't expect you to trust 'em. You've been through enough because of their kind to warrant caution, and you'll be smart to keep at least some of that. All I'm hoping for is that you'll one day be able to stay cautious, but try to remember that everypony deserves a chance to prove what they're like, until they personally have proven otherwise. And if they then turn out to be a bunch of good-for-nothing's, that's when you break 'em down and show who's boss."

He let go after that and ruffled her mane a little before moving outside with them too, whilst internally letting out yet another sigh of relief. Not so much because of what he had just told Misty, but more because he hadn't been evaporated or something before. Astral had seemed like she were mighty close to popping a casket after what he had said, but then at the last turn, had started to tone down and move on with some others things, which considering he's likely been a half second away from being turned into a biscuit, were the best outcome he could hope for right now.

Seeing Astral, who were looking pretty down though, made him pause up a bit and go over to the youngster. Sure, she might have been a bit witchy before this, but that didn't mean that she wasn't a friend, and he didn't like to see friends being down.

"Hey, chin up there Astral. I'm sure you just wanted to protect Misty here, and the first instinct got a little out of hoof. Happens to the best of us when it comes to somepony that's close."

@dragon4111

If an expression had signs, Stare's would currently read that she had malfunctioned, and that you should try again later.

She had been entranced before as Draco had started to sing, not knowing before that he had such a beautiful singing voice. It wasn't something she had heard other mention before, not had heard him express before either. Usually it was just humming when she did hear some sort of melody come from him, and him opening up and sharing this part of himself had been a big surprise. Though not as big as when he had leaned in and whispered the last three words in her ear.

Sure, she had made her thoughts on things before, but she had always just considered it to be a strange fascination, and nothing more. And yes, this could mean nothing, and just a part of the song, but it seemed so... Different. More intimate, but how could she be sure? For all she knew, he didn't mean anything about this, and her mind was just racing along with her pounding heart.

When he called out for her, she took a deep breath scurried over to him, and when she got there, closed her eyes and threw caution to the wind as she pecked the stallion on the cheek.

"I-I liked your song, a-and I... L-Like you too, D-Draco..."

She looked like she were ready to crawl into a mouse-hole after saying that, and in case she were told what she feared he might in response, she would likely end up doing just that out of pure embarrassment. Frankly, at this point, she wasn't entirely sure why she had done this anymore, but it had just felt right in the moment, even though her crippling self-doubt over why anypony would like her came into play now, and cast a shadow of doubt over everything.

They wouldn't have to walk long before a building site would begin to come into view, though they wouldn't even get there before somepony swooped over their heads and Jelly excitedly yelled out "Daddy!"

The pony above them stopped up and swooped down. A dark, bulky bat pony with some round markings on his coat, a Night Guard helmet on, and a belt of medals unfolded his wings as he hit the ground and looked at her daughter, and then over at the alicorn, where his eyes stopped and a glaze went over his stare before he raised a hoof to his forehead and let out a sigh.

"Jelly, please tell me I'm not seeing this."

"Weird, huh? Male alicorn, but he's totally real, he says so himself."

The thestral took the hoof from his face and looked up at Senvious again, though this time it more looked like he were contemplating going and having a drink for a short moment, rather than the slight disbelief and tiredness that had been there before.

"Alright then. Welcome to Ponyville then sir. Name's Stargazer, what can I do for you?"

He put a hoof forward to greet the stranger, though inside, he were imagining himself hammering his head into a wall. Not because he disliked the stranger on sight or anything, but more like this feeling like another test of his sanity from this town.

"I-I'm sorry about the smell. Blackroot especially is p-pretty harsh on the nose when it's getting prepared. Some of t-the other stuff too, though I hope you'll like it when it is. I-I know that I like the smells from yours t-thus far at least. Especially the curry. Strong food is g-good."

Some red had sneaked its way upon Void's cheeks as she had seen Storm's reaction at first to her cooking, and had mortified her a bit, which were the reason for the delayed response from her. She knew that it didn't smell all that good to begin with, and that others weren't used to this sort of thing, but for some reason, she hadn't prepared herself for the response, which had flustered her a bit.

A few more minutes would go by as she began to chop, slice, hammer and in other ways, prepare the things that she mixed in the pots rapidly now. Most of it were a simple amount of slice and dice, but there would always be a few things that had to give it's essence in some other way, like carving a hole in and squeeze the juices out for example. Thankfully only three things, but still.

After a time, she took a small sip from the Tazonian stew, which were starting to get good, but needed more heat in it to not end up bland. Some more devil peppers should do the trick, and perhaps a squint of lotus essence, just to balance the aftertaste a bit.

Then came the turn to the Vultura Soup, which made her cringe and pull her head back immediately after tasting.

"Never forget the lemon grass."

She got the hold of a few strands as her eyes watered, and chopped it up before adding it to the soup. It were fairly unpleasant to have forgotten, as it helped gather up the tastes prior to the rock shroom being added near the end, but considering all the mistakes she could have made, at least this one were minor.

After she had dried her eyes a bit and stopped stirring for the time being, she began to have a really good look at all the things that Storm had made/were making, and feeling her mouth watering a bit between the visuals and the smells.

"How did you l-learn to make all those kinds of things Storm? Seems like a l-lot of different things, and they all look and smell d-delicious. You cook a lot?"

The poor guy was hearthbroken, but who could blame him? Might not be his own family, but his marefriend and her parents? Might as well be your own flesh and blood if the relationship went well, and from the sound of things, it had been rather peachy.

A pony wandered by them and looked confused at the two of them, then down at the rubble and then starring with big eyes at them, though Breeze would be the only one who could see him right now, and give the stallion the slow nod that confirmed what he had begun to fear.

He would wander off again soon after, and thus would mark the first step in letting the town know that they hadn't gotten past the attack as scotch free as they had thought. It wouldn't be long now before those who needed to know, and a good deal others that would be near, would get the news that they had three bodies, and hopefully, they'd send a mortician then to handle things. Not all towns had one though, or not constantly on staff as death wasn't a regular thing a town this size, but he guess they were in some sort of morbid luck then, by the fact that he were there. Though he had to admit, he didn't like working outside his own quarters. It always felt wrong somehow.

The female griffin looked like she were on the edge of crying, when Null let out a noticeable amount of words and interrupted it.

"Hey! Calm yourself, griffin. And you, big guy, start talking. She ain't capable of doing it right now, so you might as well."

Pyhrus narrowed his eyes at this insignificant little gnat that held that tone against him, but Null didn't even wince when looking at the him. She just got more towards the verge of sneering at him.

"Fine, you want to know the issue? She thought I was dead, and I was told that she and her mother were, right before I was exiled. So frankly, I feel the need to tear things into smaller pieces right now, and you're starting to look like a volunteer."

Zhu simply paid and did what was asked of him. Nothing more, as the cart began to slightly roll away. as the first action in a small chain of things that would unfold soon. A sight to behold as it would happen, rather than what he could see might happen, but something which a being of morals would likely have had a few things to say about.

He wasn't one of those beings. The only soft point for him were to do what he could to end things right, so that the balance could be maintained with Celestia still alive and in charge, but what other things he had to either do or simply let happen, weren't something he felt much about anymore. The first few times he had felt sadness at what was expected of him, sometimes anger or objections, but in the end, he had still needed to go through with things, and after centuries he just began to feel jaded more than anything when he had to do something morally abhorrent.

A working damage of having to see both sides of what it took to maintain the balance, but everything had a price after all. One way or another.

Scarcity chuckled a little.

"A delightful offer, but I think that discounts are things to save for repeated service, not just bulk. And I'm certain that the two of us will do business again my dear."

She smiled, as she floated a beatiful purse from her saddlebag and opened the bulging thing. Bits of various value floated out and unto Penny's *table*, stacking in the correct value each, until there were for 150 bits. A little more than were originally asked, but she preferred round numbers like that.

"If you could put the boxes to the side, I will be back shortly with somepony who will assist me in transporting these safely. Perhaps when I return, you are done with this delightful young man, and we could have ourselves a little chat too? Ah, I suppose we will see now, won't we dear?"

A small pearly laughter accompanied Scarcity as she wandered the short distance to her shop to get hold of Brick Wall, her trusty guard. She wouldn't be gone for more than around 10 minutes, but it should leave Penny and her new customer some time to speak before she returned.

It was odd though. As she had passed the pegasi, he felt... Strange somehow. As if she wasn't looking at who he actually were. Perhaps her heightened awareness were just tricking her currently, but if she didn't know better, she would think this a changeling, which of course would be ludicrous. They had security measures around town to ensure those pests wouldn't return here again, so surely this wouldn't be it.

No, it was likely nothing, or just a general, low mistrust of those she had not met before that were increased with her awareness. A side effect to keep in mind for sure.

"Wha.. uh.." Lance was awoken, and quickly brushing the sleep out of his eyes, walked to the door. When he opened the door, he saw another stallion waiting for him. "Good morning." Lance grunted, eyes still half-closed. "I'm Lance. What's your name? Oh, wait, you said you were Alonsus." He paused to yawn and examine the stallion that stood before him. He seems pretty cool. At least, he doesn't seem like a jerk.  "You also said you were a coworker, right? Well, nice to meet you."

@@Blitz Boom,

Astral looked to Chow. "It's not going to help saying that, I almost killed a creature for no reason." She picked up a box, carrying it. It was rather large, Astral levitating it secretly to make lifting it easier. "Sure I was just protecting Misty, but that doesn't make it better." She walked into the house, placing the box down on the floor of the living room. "My mother was never willing to kill a pony, unless absolutely necessary." She looked to Chow. "I think it's time I follow in her hoof steps." She grabbed her necklace lightly.

Misty walked in with a box in the hold of her hooves. "Please don't get depressed over her again." She said placing the box on top of Astral's. "We don't need another weeping session." She walked over, looking up at Chow. "Someday, I'm going to be tall enough to mess with your mane." She held her braided mane. "And get you back for ruining my braid."

Astral looked at Misty's mane, the braid barely holding together. "Oh yeah, I liked that braid. Who did it?"

Misty looked at Astral. "It was me, took some minor levitation." She whispered the bit about levitation, before walking outside.

Astral followed Misty, going to the wagon to pile up some boxes, and carry them inside. Possibly drawing eyes to her, since there was no sign of muscle on her, at all. Yet she was carrying five boxes, she placed them at the door, carrying them into the living room one at a time. "Oh shoot." She placed one down, turning to Chow. "I just realized." She paused for a moment, combing her mane with her hoof. "I don't think we brought anything to sleep on."

Draco smirked as he said with a whisper "Hmm maybe I should steal a kiss from you," Draco then kissed Long Stare passionately. He wrapped his forelegs around her and then his wings around her. He chuckled and whispered "You ignited a fire of passion," Draco let go of her before she melted down. He then waited for her response.

Storm reacted to the compliment the same way he would to any compliment, "Aww, thanks!" He cheered happily, pulling Void into a quick hug, before going back to working on the food. "I do cook my own meals and stuff most of the time, and I usually end up cooking for Pinkie and Grey too, but..." Storm's eyes got a slightly distant look to them, "I learned a lot of the recipes and cooking techniques when I was younger. I learned to cook, which helped me survive on my travels for obvious reasons.. But I learned more about it from the places I visited, helping me to expand my tastes and techniques. Canterlot is where I learned a lot of the fancier foods and also some curries and stuff from a really cool little restaurant called The Tasty Treat." He smiled a bit as he remembered the odd, but delicious, soups, curries, and desserts served at the little restaurant.

"I also managed to make a bunch of great friends on my travels, some of them even taught me a thing or two." He grinned, pointing to the dish that had him breathing fire. "Like my old friend Glint, one of the nicest dragons I've ever met, she taught me how to make that Dragonfire Curry. I've yet to find another dish with the same spicy kick." Storm held up a string of peppers that were kind of shaped vaguely like a flickering flame. "You need these Dragon's Breath Peppers to give it the kick it really needs. They're hard to find, but she gave me some seeds to plant when I finally decided to settle down. I also use these to make the special home-made hotsauce Glint and I came up with, hottest hot-sauce you'll ever find! It'll have you breathing fire, guaranteed." Remaining wholly entertained by Fah'lina's guessing games, Trinket's ears perked up upon hearing a distinct shattering sound nearby, akin to a glass hitting the ground and breaking. Startled, she immediately turned her head towards the noise's source, only to find an ornamental piece of jewelry - seemingly belonging to Serenade - scattering across the residence's floor into tiny pieces. The mare didn't have enough time to process what exactly was happening before Ziggy dashed into action to assist Serenade by, of all things, pushing her away from the room. Stunned, the mare tilted her head in confusion as her curious eyes followed the pair making their way towards the indoor pool.

"Are you guys alri--" Her question was interrupted abruptly once Fah'lina leaped onto her head, diverting her line of sight completely. "Okay! Okay!! Calm down, PLEASE CALM DOWN I ALREADY TOLD YOU IAMNOTAFISH!!" Trinket panicked completely, jolting up from her seat and flailing her head in random directions, attempting her hardest to break free. Blinded by the squirrel, she accidentally collided against the dining table, knocking down to the floor some of the remaining muffins, and continued to run around the house wildly and visionless. "DOWN, GIRL, DOWN!! NOT THE MANE!!"

"I suppose so," Lin emotionlessly replied. "I guess we need to make this meeting brief."

Lin still had the memory flowers from earlier and played with them, twirling them around and observing the shimmering objects. She tried to get them to show the recorded memories again but to no avail. Twice she got them to reveal their message but it seems the third time left her without luck. Pressing on the sepals and rubbing the petals didn't work, and looking for the center of the whorl didn't was out of the question. Maybe it was a specific petal... or maybe it had nothing to do with touching any part of the plant. It might be that the user would need to channel their thoughts and the plant might pick up on that.

She turned to Omen with the flowers held before her and asked: "You think your mother might be interested in these? The recorded messages here are a mix of monologues and messages for Sen but it sounded like Solasan was taunting brother in the second one. It's as if he knows he would find this one day and left it for him to find. Strange, huh?"

@@Blitz Boom,

Blood Drops blinked at her, "You sure, she looks abit like you" she commented. She wasn't convinced, though Blood Drops wasn't convinced about alot of things. She wasn't convinced about Celestia or Luna raising the sun and moon respectively, she wasn't even convinced that this dragon could cure her, she wasn't also convinced the dragon wasn't going to eat her after failing to cure her. But Blood Drops just went along with it, otherwise she would end up doing something bad again.

"Ponies and Dragons can mix, If I bit you then you would be a Dragon pony mutant thingy, or just a dragon mutant thingy" she asked blinking, that would be a very good incentive for this dragon to put all her effort into fixing the mutation. Though Blood Drops suspected a direct attack would result in her getting harmed, so she would wait for her to let her guard down. That was the key.

She waited until the dragon had finished talking, she then realized the dragon was talking to a 'Lotus' she didn't know what that was. The only Lotus Blood Drops knew was a spa pony far far away. She blinked, maybe the dragon was losing it after all. Maybe she didn't even have it to start with. She followed the dragon to the forge and stared at her, she then stared at the filly. She shifted to the far side away from both of them, she had a biting urge.

She blinked at the Lotus and Blitz. She held out her hoof to them wanting to perform the customary hoof bump "Hi i'm Blood Drops". She glanced at the critter and frowned, it wouldn't be able to perform the hoof bump. She instead went to sniff it, it smelt odd. She glanced at Blitz "Does it speak?" she asked the filly, the filly spoke she got that much, she didn't know what she was meant to do with the filly or the critter. Some sort of game for the filly?.

"Do you like games? Like tag, and catch and stuff?" she continued. She got to her hooves, she remembered tag very well. Who should she nudge to make them start?

She managed to stop herself from nudging either of them and remarking 'Tag you're it'. The dragon would definitely flip right out, and probably step on her, she then frowned, no she would probably cook her instead. "Should be able to play catch ok, if you've got a ball or something" she remarked.

"Just Stargazer please, I am not a knight or anything like that, just an officer in the Night Guard. THat is, the guards under command of Princess Luna."

Truth be told, he didn't overly enjoy being called out as sir for long. He preferred a certain familiarity when speaking with others instead, though it did sometimes depend on rank, in case he were talking with another member of either guard, or one of the princesses.

"As for a meeting, I am afraid that will take some time. Ponyville were recently attacked, and Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Princess Twilight Sparkle, have all gone to discuss matters in private for now. In the meantime, we have as many ponies as possible to repair the damaged sustained to the town, and await how their meeting will go, in case there are words to the citizens, or either of the Night Guard or Solar Guard.

If I might ask you a question though? As were mentioned, it would be some time before the princesses are available, so might I ask what you would do with your time until then? We would greatly appreciate any sort of help in the reconstruction you might be able to provide, if you would prefer to stick around and wait for them to be ready if it were, sir."

Normally, he'd never ask something like this of an alicorn, but then again, normally he wouldn't be looking at a male alicorn either, so why not? Might as well ask for help anywhere he could at this point, even if the outsiders that came in to help were getting weirder and weirder.

Alonsus gave a great smile when he saw the other pony open the door. It seems his instinct had been right in telling him that now, Lance would be home. And he seemed like a nice pony too, though awfully tired. Perhaps he had been halfway through sleep, and had been awakened? Possible, but it mattered little. He were awake now, and that were the important part.

"Indeed, I am Alonsus, and I bring you words from our boss."

He cleared his voice and ran a hoof through his mane. Not too forcefully though. It were great work to get it to look as it did, and he would not wish to ruin it, unless there were a good reason for it. One could not take too much time out of a day to brush such a thing after all. It would detract from being productive.

"With the attack on town, he have decided to close shop for now, until everything is in order again. We are still to be on the clock however, but use our hours to assist in the remaking of Ponyville when your shift begins tomorrow. He have asked that you are watched over by his always loyal employee when that time comes, and to tell you in advance, so that everything is in order.

Ah, but perhaps this is too much to weigh on a tired mind? You can tell Alonsus if it is. I will understand and try again later if that is."

(Got a visual made of Chow. Hope it's good enough.)

Chow didn't like to leave it hanging there, with Astral in the dumps, but this sounded like the sort of thing that he shouldn't step more in, unless something happened that would require him to take action. Such a situation would have to be pretty bad, and he certainly hoped it would go that way, but it would be something he were better of keeping in mind for now he'd wager, just in case.

The alarms were close to ringing when she started to talk about her mother, but it seemed like Misty defused the situation well there, although it did bring upo a point towards himself that he hadn't really thought on, which were that he had seemingly messed up her braids without noticing. Not exactly a proud moment, but she wandered outside before he had a chance to really do something about it. He'd have to try and remember to make it up to her later.

Some more moving of boxes went on between the three of them, before Astral suddenly burst out that she had forgotten something to sleep on. Chow were tempted to say she could just run with a fort of the ton of books she had gotten with her, but restrained himself and tried to give a serious answer for now instead.

"I'd check the rooms before I made that assumption lass. Rest of the house seems to have kitchen wares, carpets, furniture and such. I'm sure if you look around, you'll find a room or two with some beds in that you can rest in. Would be a pretty strange place if that were a thing missing at least."

If they looked around, they'd be able to find two rooms with beds in. One seemed the master bedroom, whilst the other, smaller one, were apparently more meant as a guest room, though that didn't mean that it couldn't be used for full time by one of them.

Both rooms would have a portrait of some flowers to give it a bit of life, but other than that, it would seem pretty clinical, and in need of a personal touch from Misty and Astral more than likely.

Long Stare ended up reacting in the way that it seemed Draco hadn't hoped: She collapsed on the spot as soon as he let go of her.

The excitement had been too much for her, and her brain had shut down as a strange defense mechanism, whilst it allowed her to go through the process of a pony actually liking her, to getting the courage to give a little kiss to the pony that had said so, and then the overload that had happened when Draco had given her a passionate kiss. Quite a powerful thing to work with when it came to her, and especially because it were her first one.

"B-By the heavens, what happened here?"

Clayton didn't exactly find a good sight to return to. Draco seemed fine, but Long Stare were unconscious at the side of the street, and her face were about red enough to use her as a stop light. What exactly did he miss whilst he had delivered the crate?

@Shineling

The hug surprised Void, and left a small blush on her cheeks. It was a rather unfamiliar thing to get from strangers in her life, and if it wasn't because Storm were as nonthreatening as he had turned out to be, she would likely have backed away, thinking this was some sort of trick or trap.

As it stood however, she just nodded as a thank you as he went on and explained where his prowess in the kitchen came from, along with some stories of where he had gone and learned recipies. She especially bit notice in how he had done around dragons, as she hadn't expected them to be any sort of friendly to ponies. At least according to the stories she knew.

Much as her and Null had travelled, they had specifically avoided any place with a strong dragon presence, as they would have a far easier time to hurt them than ponies in case they got on their nerves. They were still magical creatures in several aspects, and a good deal of them had magic to use, but they were still flexible, good at hunting and physically stronger for the most part, which spelled issues to her and Null, unless they wanted to do something lethal. Something which they did their best to avoid.

"Sounds like y-you've been around a lot then, learning to c-cook Storm."

She took a closer glance at the hot sauce he showed her before saying more, wondering how that might taste, but deciding not to ask yet. It'd ruin the surprise later when it came to some of his dishes likely, and where would the fun be in taking away the impact?

"I'm impressed you cooked with a dragon too. I Heard t-they were usually mean to ponies, b-but your friend doesn't sound like that.

Also, mind me ask how strong the p-peppers are? Strongest I've seen had to be c-cooked whole in the food, then taken out before serving because eating them were d-dangerous, but what about those? A-Anything from dragons are likely very strong, y-yes?"

                                    ==========================================================================

Vivid looked confused at the two ponies.

"I need to have you say that again. Did you just say that both of you, alongside with random strangers, are responsible for you looking like you broke a fall with a bed of rocks? That the demon enjoys seeing you broken is simply further proof for me that *she* is a bottom-feeder that likely normally have to grovel at the feet of others, but I had expected more from ponies, and especially you two, if I understand what you said right."

It were frankly hard for her to be sure if she got it right. THe way it had been expressed were a little all over the place, which made it hard to say for sure, but it had sounded like the current state of the Soda pony, were at least partially self-inflicted, in which case she might have to start asking if it wasn't safer to tie her up in a padded box.

"E-Enough! All of you, stop this!"

Florence raised her voice some as she saw the escalating battle, which granted her the attention of at least Pyhrus and Null, though she didn't know if Zen did as well before she kept on.

"This is... Not an easy day. Many bad things happened to get us here, so can we please... Just not fight? H-Haven't there been enough?"

There were quiet for a bit, before Null stepped down from her starring match and sat in the corner chair again.

"Fine, I'll behave."

Pyhrus just gave of a small snort, but the stance of the immense griffin eased up at least, and he returned to the bed to use a piece of cloth to cleanse his metallic talon, which were likely the best that could be hoped for in the given situation.

"Of course it is. Losing somepony close is never easy."

The crying had went on for a time now, and Breeze's shoulder started to feel moist from the tears, so it seemed a time where he could at least move things along a little, which he did by getting Deadpan out in stretched hooves so that he could look him in the bloodshot eyes.

"We need to think about them too though Deadpan. They've been through enough, and deserve to be laid to rest properly, now that you've found them, don't you think?"

He made sure to keep the tone warm and sympathetic, but in his mind, versions on how to handle this already went through his mind, depending on what tradition were around here. Hopefully not cremation though. Those ovens were a pain in the flank to get to work sometimes.

She wasn't much for it, but Ziggy nodded to what she assumed Serenade meant. Which were to get Fah'lina away from Trinket's face before she ended up running into a wall.

Usually she really liked to help, and prying the critter of her would fit in under that, but with Serenade's current situation... Well, she really wanted to help her friend first, which would be easier if nopony saw her. Which made it kinda strange that it seemed like she might want Trinket to have a glance at her now. Might just be speculation from her side, but it did seem like that might be in the cards at least.

"It's okay Fah'lina, everything's alright. Come here."

The zegasus went over and took a gentle grip in the mimic, who swirled in her hooves and ended up climbing her instead, not stopping until she hit the top of Ziggy's short mane.

"Sorry about that Trinket, but uhm... There was a reason. I swear by the good name of cupcakes, it wasn't just something she did to scare you. There's no need to panic."

Except for the siren in the room that were, which would likely rustle Trinket's jimmies, or however that expression went. Been a while since she had heard it, so it wasn't all that fresh, but that wasn't as important as how the next three minutes or so would go either. Hopefully good, but when it came to stuff like this, the odds wasn't exactly in favor of that.

Should Mother listen to the message in the flower... An interesting question.

Omen wanted to tell her what had gone on, so that she could understand and then perhaps handle dealing out some judgement on the former elder when they found him, but were the flower too much? She had never seen Mother completely angry before, and who knew what might happen if it came to that?

"...Yes, bring it to her, so she can hear herself. Perhaps it makes sense to her why he left it there."

In the end, she decided that Mother could likely handle it. She were a powerful, ancient creature, so surely a little anger wouldn't end up doing her, or some of her children, harm. That wouldn't seem to be the most likely thing at least.

It wouldn't be long before they reached the pillar, which turned out to be a strange device that they wouldn't understand, but humans would refer to as a cellphone. Seemed like some of Omen's kin had even made it to one or more of the human-infected worlds after all, though that wasn't as important as the door that awaited them, which Omen opened right after landing the hovering piece of ground she had transported them to here on.

Behind it would be the well known hallway, leading towards Mother's chambers. A simple road that just lead one direction, so it shouldn't take them more than a half minute or so to get to her now then.

                       ====================================================================================

@BloodDrops

Nerzhei didn't know what made her cringe more. The part where blood told her that Blitz looked like her, or when she began to talk about how a bite from her would end up making her a pony being in any sort of way.

The first got to her because frankly, she couldn't see any resemblance beyond them both creating things. The difference where though, that she wished to make things that lasted, whilst the foal seemed more interested in the brief moment when things ignited and a large explosion would destroy everything. And that wasn't even speaking on the numerous physical differences.

For the second, it got to her that the likelihood of her getting infected with a disease carried by a pony, would in any way make her somewhat one herself. A virus could carry from being to being, like what some rats carried for example, but to change one into a bit of what infected you, would require a heavily mutagenic disease, of which like she had never heard of before. And yes, she hadn't encountered anything like what Blood carried right now either, but she highly doubted it could do something that severe.

There wouldn't be much time to think of it, fortunately, as they caught up to Blitz and Blood started to talk to her, as well as Lotus, that had jumped down from Nerzhei's shoulder and unto Blitz's back, so that she could keep a better eye on things. Which currently meant scowling at Blood that had gotten near her and started sniffing her. She were about three seconds from lifting up and kicking the pony for not understanding the concept of personal space, when she finally moved back again, saving them both from issues here.

As for the dragoness herself, she were more focused on the forge that stood in front of them that looked rather professional actually. Not something she had expected when you considered who the owner were, but she didn't complain. Instead, she just went over, took a deep breath, and blew out a flame that would start the fire. It would take a bit of time now before it were warmed up properly, but this would begin the process at least.

Meanwhile, Blitz tilted her head a bit when the mention of a ball came forth.

"Sorry, I don't have a ball. Closest I think i have is the grenades, and I don't think that's safe."

"That would be an understatement. Tossing around explosives like toys isn't wise."

Nerzhei responded, but it looked like she were wholly focused on the forge instead, as well as the bits of metal around it, planning on what to do in a few more details whilst she waited for this to be ready to roll. She seemed very focused on it in fact. Perhaps enough to not notice what went on around her?

                             ===========================================================================

@Summer Breeze

@Frosty Frost

"Another pony? How in the wide world have another one of you managed to get in here?"

Nerzhei hadn't set Summer on fire when she approached. She had heard the flappings of her wings before she had landed, so it had given her some degree of warning, though she hadn't expected to see her here yet. Or at least not alone. Perhaps the others were trailing behind?

Not that important she supposed. What were however, were the fact that she now had another equine on her hands, and frankly, she didn't know what to do with this one. Normally she should have to get this one back to someone in charge, who would then decide what would happen, but that would require them to stop at another camp, a town, or return to where they came from. None of which were things she wanted to do.

*sigh* she supposed she just had to bite the sour apple and return this one to Equestria as well. It would be the least amount of hassle for her, unless the pony would end up being a bother. She'd have to have a little chat with the pony when she saw her on that account, but they'd get to that eventually. For now, the cave were prepared, and she had a question to answer.

"Ugh, fine. But consider that one your responsibility. Keep her in check before she does something stupid, alright?"

Meanwhile, back at the beach, Lyriel looked saddened at her companions.

"It pains me to hear that your memory is gone, Blue. I pray to the earth mother that it will return in time."

It seemed pointless to ask more about this particular subject, when she couldn't remember anything. Pushing at it would likely give them no new information and just spread bad vibes, and they did not need that currently, so what else were there to do but to pray for her little equine friend?

Frosty seemed to have some idea, but as were heard, it were not well received by Blue, though she couldn't blame her. Getting an experimental treatment done on your head sounded dangerous, and not worth just a minor, lost memory that might return on its own one day.

@@Blitz Boom,

Blood blinked at the dragon, she seemed preoccupied with the forge. She had forgotten what she was not meant to do, she blinked again and frowned trying to remember what it was. Nope she couldn't remember it. She turned her attention back to the Filly. "So besides blowing stuff up what do you like to play?" she asked her. "You want to play tag?" she asked. Blood liked tag, though not many ponies liked playing tag with her. "I'm good at tag, so how about I start?" she asked. Blood didn't mind about what the filly wanted, she was very self centered when it came to tag.

She moved closer to the filly, she began to explain the rules "So I got to nudge you, and then say 'Tag You're it', ok?" she prompted. She needed to have a example, she glanced at the critter, "So if i nudge this............ Animal and then say 'Tag you're it' then I will have to run away and you will have to retag me. Lets play" she remarked.

Blood moved her hoof closer to the Blitz Filly.

"Of...Of course, I apologize. Its been a rough day for us all. Not to mention I can sense some emotional anguish currently.." Zen bowed her head, oddly silent.

"Right. Now, normally ponies just get buried. But, she told me that her family's tradition is, instead of burial, to send 'em floating across a river on a raft made of wood, with a collection of a lot of things that were precious to them, or reminded people of them." Deadpan sniffled, and wiped his tears away.

"Well shoot," Draco said as he placed the unconscious mare onto his back. She was rather light for a mare. But then again he was light weight because of his bones. "Well she fainted friend," Draco stated with a grin on his face. He had a slight blush on his face. "Well let's hope she'll wake up.

"Attack?" Lance's eyes popped open, his tiredness forgotten. "What attack? I mean, I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about right now. This isn't a joke, right?" He looked behind Alonsus, half expecting to see a new crater or something in front of him. But no, it looked as it had when Lance had walked into his cottage. "I'd like to know more about this 'attack' you're talking about."

You have laid your eyes upon my post. Be afraid. Please. With a cherry on top? I'm dying here...

Oh and here's my OC, I guess: Lance

@@Blitz Boom, Cresent was surprised by the request seeing how the feline was trying to be subtle about the request, probably a feline thing.

"upstairs in the map room theirs a few box's with papers in them but that's about it nothing important so there yours" the thestrals said low enough for the youngster not to hear.

Seeing the colt clean up after himself impressed the batpony glad to see the youngster had manors even with his ruff upbringing. He helped himself to a 2nd bowl before cleaning up himself and helped the youngster get to bed by pulling a lever that made the couch flip over to reveal a well sized mattress complete with sheets and all.

Astral looked at Chow. "Well I had checked earlier, the rooms are rather empty." She said approaching the stairs. "Misty, why don't you help carry your stuff upstairs?"

Misty walked up to Astral, holding the Twilight Sparkle plushie. "I got that dealt with." She said walking past Astral and upstairs.

"Oh..." Astral was then struck with another realization a she looked to Misty, Misty did not have much stuff. "Soo Chow, are you planning to live here with us. Or do you got other ideas?" She asked turning her head to Chow, Misty's ear turning to Astral saying that as she went up the stairs.

Misty was now upstairs, trying to find a small room, as she didn't need anything overly large for herself. Coming across a nice and small one. And a large one, seemed Astral may end up using it, would even fit another pony, she chuckled at the thought that came to mind. "Heh, nah. They aren't in love." She wandered to the smaller room, landing backwards onto the bed, letting the plushie land next to her. She rolled over to the plushie. "Although... That doesn't meant they can't end up in love." She shrugged rolling over to look at the ceiling. "Shouldn't assume if they do, we're just friends anyways. I'm sure of that." She reached over, pulling the plushie over to herself as she laid there, she found the bed rather comfy, and eventually fell asleep.

You have your whole life left, so much to do, so much time to do it.

Use it wisely; Because you will never get a second chance.
