"Well, I was going to go with Briar and Brittle, but unfortunately Brittle is unable to do anything right now," Foxy said, looking toward  the brightly colored randomly transformed Changeling. "She will be okay, but let me talk to Briar first, since I don't want to leave without saying. One minute..."

Foxy shyly walked over to Briar, who was a few meters away, before asking, "Stardust, the little pony over..." Foxy stared at Widdershins, who seemed to be coiled around Briar like a snake (which she found adorable). Knowing Widdershins only meant to be playful, she continued, trying not to smile.

"Umm there", Foxy pointed toward Stardust before continuing, "They want to find somewhere to eat, do you mind if I go with them? We can meet up later, when Brittle is feeling better." Foxy hoped they could understand, and meet up again later.

Jelly were sad to hear what it was the dim one represented. Having friends die wasn't something she had tried, and she frankly couldn't imagine what it was like. Sure she had lost contact with some friends that had left Canterlot over the years, but she could always find them another time if it were and see how it went with them. Dead ones though? That had to hurt Cacora.

There wasn't a chance to say something about that though, before the rumbling and the voice went on, which cause Jelly to jump back in surprise and Gary to let out a hiss and bury himself as far into her mane as he could in an attempt to stay safe.

When Cacora went on about there being a large being outside, Jelly was a bit hesitant to go over and look herself, but she wanted to be brave here, so she went over to the window and just managed to get a good look on the massive dragon that was on the outskirts of town, when all of a sudden, it started to shrink down and her jaw fell.

"Whablargh... Guh?"

It seemed a fuse had shortened in her brain for a bit as she tried to get that she had just seen a dragon shrink. Something which they had never taught her in school, and though it seemed like a small thing, it for some reasons amazed her greatly. In a good or a bad way were hard to say yet, as she were still hard resetting if you would.

Elsewhere, an innocent laughter and the sound of somepony letting out a small shriek seemed to indicate that Anomaly were either messing with the caretakers, or trying to cheer up the kids and missing the mark. Seemed like both the outside and inside of this building were going crazy in one form or another.

*Cacora snaps out of her daze and hears all that's going on. She taps Jelly on her shoulder.* "Jelly? If ya want to check it out, we can. However, my family needs me it seems."

*After wards, Cacora heads out of the room hopefully with Jelly towards Anomaly and the others. She hopes Anomaly is behaving herself.* "Is everything okay?"

@Lloyd

"Yes, I'll get us to a more suitable place right away."

The faint explosion hadn't escaped his ears either, and considering this wasn't exactly a room where sound got amplified, this would more than likely be heard from other parts of town, or even near the garden, quite a bit more clearly. Which meant not only that something was wrong in the garden, but that there was already some degree of panic going around. The guard would amass and handle things shortly, he knew that, but that id not mean that he didn't share concerns about how this were going with his guests, and wanted to see for himself what was going on too.

A teleportation spell later, they were on a low run balcony overseeing the garden, which gave them an ample view of what were going on, though unfortunately, not the sound to hear things. Something which might have been important to get too, as they saw the scene with the monstrous thing unfold.

(Chow's perspective)

Chow wasn't sure what the heck were going on right now. One moment they had entered the garden and the two mares were talking magic chatter again for some reason, the next Astral had poked at a statue that then cracked open and showed something which were akin to how he'd figure a nightmare creature would be. Well, one of the forms anyway, as he had his own nightmare creature to hang around, which unfortunately started to act up as Warlock showed up.

The voice inside his head were usually toned down and barely registered with him, but there was something with Warlock that made it rise up and scream, tearing against its bindings with the fervor of a cornered being with nothing left to loose. It wanted out, and to get to Warlock to... What exactly? Join him? Try to kill him? Chow had no idea as he fell on the ground and held his hooves to his head as he struggled against the screaming and pounding the other essence were doing to him.

What went on around him barely got registered, but a few frames of astral and Misty being knocked around whilst he were more or less immobilized in agony went through, a few words from the legless one that didn't make sense out of context, and then - as Warlock left and the pain lessened - most of what happened with Misty and Astral, that ended in the zebra filly teleporting away to who knows where.

Getting back up on his hooves, he clenched his teeth as there were still a dull pain going through him, then went over and took hold in Astral, and made her look him directly in his eyes.

"Stop it, now! I don't know what just went on here, but this is just by the castle, and we're about to be swarmed by guards. Your cover is gone, Misty is in the wind, and I swear, if this was a better time, I'd beat the stupid out of your face for trying that stunt with the statue without warning us. But we don't have time for this. We have to regroup an- Watch out!"

Though hitting her wouldn't do much, Chow could still jump in front of her as he heard something swoosh through the air towards the mare, which made it that the bolas of light that had been tossed at her swung around him instead, and pinned his legs and the bag on his back to his body, immobilizing any chance he'd have of walking anywhere right now.

Looking up to where this had cme from, he noticed a familiar shape that he had seen once before, a few months after he had moved here the first time, but knew off by reputation since then. Even from this distance it was easy to see, just like it were that a pair of changelings stood near him, though that wasn't so much a focus on him as he saw the unicorn prepare another of those chains, whilst the stomping and flapping of wings from the nearby guards started to grow higher.

"We're out of time. Get us out of here, or run. Now!"

Chow wouldn't be able to do anything himself, so if he were to have a chance to help fix this, Astral would have to teleport them both away now. Otherwise, the only chance this wouldn't go haywire were for her to run away and let him distract them for a few seconds. Wouldn't be long, but whatever time it'd buy could be the difference.

(back to Golden)

Another bolas formed over his head as he looked down with gritted teeth at the one he had caught. Not the one he were aiming for, but he'd get the other one this time.

Whilst Golden wasn't a guard, back in Saddle Arabia, he had been trained as a soldier for a few years prior to wandering the diplomatic road, and knew how to incapacitate others somewhat efficiently. It came useful in times like these, to help ease the burden of the guard and give them some time as they amassed on their targets, though normally it was just a fond memory of his younger years.

"It seems that your concerns about whatever they were dangerous or not have been answered. The guards will be there any second, hopefully they will apprehend the other one if I miss her this time, and then we need to send an arrest order out on the last one when they are secure. They cannot be allowed to leave Canterlot after releasing yet another monster on Equestria."

He wasn't sure who they had released, but anything trapped in a statue and that floated without legs were bad news.

*sigh* When this were all done, he'd have to sit down with the princesses and have a long, tedious talk with them about which ones of their statues contained things like this, so that he could bury them somewhere that nopony would have a chance to touch them, ever again.

And with that thought, the next bolas swung towards Astral, and this time, there was no Chow to jump in front of her.

@Trixie .

"Yey, adventure time! See you later Ponyville."

Giggling, she spread her large wings and flew after Keeneye. Sorrow wasn't any sort of speed racer at all, but she did okay in keeping up with him as long as he didn't go really fast. If he did, it might take a while for her to catch up, though she would find him eventually, more than likely. He might be lost for her for a bit though, she wasn't ruling that out.

She found it a good thing that he had done a kind of smile before too. Might have just been what most would call a smirk, but it was going the right way at least, and perhaps if he met Celestia he would get into a big, happy smile? No idea, though Legion sure didn't think so.- They went on about how he were going to be trouble and cause havoc and whatnot, but they tended to say that about anypony with some power. Wasn't too often that they had parts that called out for trusting and trying to give the benefit of the doubt these days for some reason. Guess she only picked up the paranoid ones.

@Moonlit @Seamore Sandwich

Ziggy followed to where Serenade was pointing, though she really shouldn't have needed to, considering how her friend had mentioned the three sisters quite the number of times, and always in a bad, cautious way. And she could understand why too, since Serenade didn't want to be an evil one that would do a lot of damage and get banished from this world.

"I don't think you could ever become like them Serenade. They were intentionally evil. Even if you did something wrong, you'd still be able to regret it. But as they say in medical school *Better prevent than cure*, so yeah, taking precautions just in case is something I can get behind. Just no dragging me under with you, hehe. I haven't evolved gills. ...Yet."

The last part were mumbled to herself most of all, and simply acknowledged that she didn't rule out that she'd end up being able to breathe underwater one day. Or was it because she actually wanted to, but just hadn't found a way yet? Hard to say, but no worries thus far.

@EQ_Theta

"No!"

The horrified and desperate cry of Mother made Omen look up from her position a little away from Sen, where she had been about to rise herself up on a pedestal to get out of whatever where in him's reach.

She rose to see Mother fly in to them, with sorrow, hatred and agony written in her eyes, and with Lin limp in one on her large, clawed hands. What went on she didn't have the chance to ask about as the reaper tossed Lin upwards and with a flick of her hand encased her in an orb of pure darkness. Not because she thought on how to protect hr, as she thought her hand should be far enough and within a safe enough embrace to not let harm come to her, but because she did not want to see Sen like this.

"Sen... My beautiful little angel... What have you done to him!?"

The entire realm trembled as she yelled out against the creature that was tearing his body apart, and killing her newest, adopted child right in front of her. Had this Legion not done enough by harming Lin as it were? Did it have to go further and outright destroy what little was left of the other half of the siblings?

Pale tears rolled from her furious eyes as tendrils of darkness assaulted and grabbed towards the insolent thing in front of her. Before she had done this with more finesse, but she couldn't this time. This was different, because she couldn't save his life. His body was too broken, too corrupt... Not even the healing he had seemed to do anything to patch up all that was destroyed. All that was left now was a corrupt, decaying body that houses his soul. A soul that had to be in so much, horrible pain from this destruction of his body, and likely his mind too.

The siblings around her couldn't be hurt or corrupted by this, as they had no bodies, and were more or less just shadows with souls, and since Omen hadn't been taken over - or attempted to fully yet at least - the collateral damage from whatever were going to happen were minimal, as she would attempt to get close and do what it had with Lin, and tear the soul out of the corrupted vessel.

Tears kept falling from her eyes as she knew that whatever were going to happen here, it would take a miracle to save Sen's body. And this time, it wasn't a miracle that she could provide. There ws no answers she could find that could change that. No plans or places of power that she knew of that would do anything. She were powerless to save more than his soul, and it tore into her, along with the knowledge that for his, and everyone else's good, she were likely going to have to....

...Kill Sen herself...

@genessee @Widdershins

Happy chuckled a little at how incredibly oblivious Ambie seemed to be. Ponies sometimes.

"You're not the fastest bike in the stall, are ya lad? Here, let me give you a hint about where Happy went."

A green flare went over him, and right after that, Happy - the pony form version - stood at the table with a cheeky grin going over his face and starred directly at Ambie.

"And I'm doing with life what I can. Wandering 'round, getting some love here and there to stave off the hunger and minding my business is a pretty good way of going on about life. More interesting than back home by far. no magic there at all, and no flying ponies either. They're pretty dull, stupid creatures where I'm from. Manual labor and pets usually."

He transformed again, this time into a pony looking more like from where he came from, which were hard to tell had anything to do with this world's versions, before he changed back to his humaling form, in case Pinkie still had him under surveillance and would disapprove of him trying to hide again. He didn't trust what that mare would or could do right now.

"As for the muffins, take a few if you want. I'm still cautious about them. Usually I can't eat sweets, but these doesn't seem to make me ill yet."

Tempted by his more devious, taunting side, he then leaned in over the table with a half muffin in his hand and smirked at Ambie with a playful look in his eyes that were definitely the same that Happy (the pony) had showed off a few times before.

"But at least if I do get ill, there's a whole pony full of delicious love energy right in front of me, just ready to crack up and drain like the marrow from a bone."

Meanwhile, over at Lance, Void slowly crept a hoof up and poked him on the shoulder before whispering with a shaky voice: "D-Do you think i-it's safe?"

Everything going on with the dragon, the rush at the station, how some ponies seemed to still be on the ground passed out from seeing Ancalagon the first time, as well as the strange tea party with the freak who's illusion she had accidentally destroyed before... It were hard for her to keep heads or tails on what was going on right now. Nothing good she'd say, but Lance seemed like he stood bravely against everything, so perhaps it wasn't as bad as she feared?

@Shineling

Blitz jumped over and hugged Stormy as he took care of her plushie for now, which - as he said - wouldn't be too easy to scamper around with.

"Yey, thank you Storm."

She tugged a little at the wire around her leg to see if she could get that loose after that, but to no avail. It was too durable for her to get rid of unless she had something to work with. Like magic, a bomb, or perhaps a really good knife. Which thankfully she had none of, as the first would have made her prank Molotov already, and the two second ones were liable to get her too loose a leg too in the process. Depended on the size of either she supposed.

Annoyed, but not deterred, she tugged on her bonds onward to where she had seen the dragon, followed in a more normal tempo by her big brother, who controlled the speed she could go at right now thankfully.

"Y'know, if glitter is the worst I have to fear, than it's an improvement. One time when she was five, I teased her a bit too much and she got hold of the electrical pliers, then connected them to my bed and rigged the box where the power came from to give out a loud noise if anypony got near it. None of it were too dangerous, but dang it that hurt.

Now the bombs I'm more concerned about, since when she starts building, pranks ain't the only thing they're meant for. What exactly have she been going around making?  Please tell me it's not an anti-matter bomb. She always wanted to build that, and I've seen her get too close already before she was stopped. A month without supervision though? I shiver to think of what she might've made."

Shiver, sure. That's why his tone and look were that of fascination and curiosity. Totally not interested rather than horrified at the thought that Blitz might have made a bomb that could disintegrating everything it

@dragon4111 @Widdershins

When the impudent little jester poked her muzzle, Last pushed his hoof away and took a step forth, getting right into his face and with a nearly growling voice said "Do that again, and you won't get your hoof back, nutcase."

Her opened eye promised untold degrees of harm that would come to him if he did not listen to her warning, but she didn't do anything this time. She just gave him one chance, and then took a step back before she got tempted and hammered him down regardless of how this dragon knew him.

"And no, I don't know that law you're spouting on about. I'm not versed in every tiny detail of the book of law. I ain't a guard."

Something which were somewhat of an understatement, as the part of the law she knew of were mostly obvious things like *don't murder* *don't steal* etc. Back at the shrine, they didn't live by this booik, but had their own rules about how things went on as Equestria minded its own business, and she only started to get up to date with some of the most common ones after they had been relieved of duty, which were an event measured in days and weeks, not years. And among those, she hadn't seen any rule called what Ancalagon went on about, though considering how he seemed pleased with himself, it was likely bad news.

She wasn't the only one thinking that, as Nerzhei thought basically the same thing, whilst racing through her mind and trying to think of what law this might be. Could be an Equestrian one she hadn't found in her books yet, or a draconian perhaps? Sometimes they liked to extend those beyond their own borders,a nd she could imagine some of those still counted if Celestia allowed it, but... Which one was it? It was hard to say right now.

Something else that was hard, were the small pebble that seemed to fall down just near enough Lotus so that she could kick it towards the jester from atop Nerzhei's shoulder. Nothing major, even with the good kick behind it, but it should be between annoying and stubbing his tow, depending on how thin-skinned he were about the *accident*. Something which were really just Nerxhei that had made a small piece of rubble fall down from a roof above them because the jester were starting to annoy her, but not enough for her to chance outright attacking him.

It was hard to say if anypony would be able to tell if she had a part in this. Depended on if the vague, green glow that had sparked briefly on the tip of a claw on her right hand were seen, and subsequently recognized as a sign of her involvement.

                                             ==============================================================

@CentipedeGhoul @Lil' Lovebug

The crowd looked at her speechless, and blinked in confusion as the performance was over.

Then Bubble Tea started to clap, and one by one the locals joined in until it was a small symphony of excited claps that filled the silence after Satin had started singing. Even Vivid joined in, and she usually didn't, as opera normally bored her speechless.

She had no idea what had been said though, as she wasn't versed in changeling speak, new or old, but it did sound rather pretty and intriguing, she'd give Satin that, and the part where she dedicated the song to her was a cute gesture. Why, if she had thought Satin had those interests in her, she'd almost think this was a flirtatious act.

Heh, but enough joking around she supposed. She was too old to think on silly things like that. Besides, if it came down to it, she wasn't into mares, so it would be a dead stop regardless.

"Well played Satin. Very impressive."

Turning to Stardust, she got a small smirk on her face.

"That would be Satin up on the stage. Interesting, yes?"

She was not trying to play match-maker or anything, but who were she to not poke a bit and see what this stallion thought about Satin? Long as she didn't outright start to arrange dates it should be fine enough. And that was if she even wanted to try and push this, which for now, wasn't the case. For some reason she were simply interested in seeing what the stallion thought about her... Friend, and her impressive show.

How long would it take for her to get used to the thought of actually having a friend she wondered. Perhaps a few days. Perhaps a few decades. Sometimes she were slow to adapt to things.

                                        =================================================================

@BloodDrops

The guard looked at Blood, not sure what to say as this was the worst bluff he had ever seen, considering she sat on the box of fireworks. And he had been the collector from the Night Guard's poker nights. Bad bluffs were common there, but this? Holy smokes... This was like having your hoof in the cookie jar, getting caught, and with the hoof still in the jar, claim you didn't even touch it.

"Look, it's been a long week, and I really want to just get some sleep, and pray that everything will be somewhat normal when I wake up. So please, just don't do anything stupid again and there ain't an issue, alright?"

"Certainly. I will make sure that my new little friend here and I do not stir the great... Dragon, again. Though might I ask, what is a dragon such as himself doing here on this starry night?"

"It is a long story that starts and end with stupidity and overreaction. Perhaps another time I can tell the story, but for now, have a safe night. And you, plant lady?"

Stargazer pointed at the tall, wooden human-looking creature.

"My name is Lyriel, and what do you wish to ask of me?"

"Right, Lyriel. Just... Don't be part of the crazy tonight, please? There is enough going already and I can't keep handling it for everypony. There is a limit to what a sane being is supposed to be able to deal with."

"I will endeavor not to add to your stress then my friend. Please, return and get the rest you so seek, and worry not about us."

(Last chance for Blood to say something before he flies off, otherwise just write it as if he already did)

@Midnight_Aurora

"Nuh-uh. It looked dangerous, and I don't want to worry daddy by getting hurt. I'll go with you."

Following Cacora, Jelly would have her jaw drop a second time as she rounded the corner and saw Anomaly, who were currently in the process of pushing to stacks of sweet stuff that was lined against the wall, of which some were easy to see what were, whilst others looked strange, though smelled familiar. Like triangle muffins, balloon cake etc.

"Hello Cacora and little one! I'm making snacks for the foals. And one for Honey, because he was very sad-like."

Honey sat in a corner, looking into the air and gasping for air with crumbs around him.

"Okay, I made him eat it to stop him from yelling, but still

You two had fun? The caretakers are out and gathering the foals into a big room, then we're gonna bring them sweet stuff to make them feel all better. That should work, long as it doesn't go rumbling outside anymore. But with the big dragon shrunk then it shouldn't be a problem, right?"

Her tail snapped and a berry muffin formed on Jelly's head, whilst a cheesecake did on Cacora's.

"Hah, got them right this time. The taste isn't an issue, but forming them goes weird sometimes."

                                             ===============================================================

@Widdershins @Foxy Socks @Twilight-Shimmer

Briar wasn't saying anything after the loud noise from the curious metallic thing he had gotten near had burst out. He was too busy sitting on the ground, with his hooves over his ears and whimpering over and over "My ears, too loud."

Reliant as he always had been on his sense of touch, taste and sound mostly, Briar had a huge problem not only with fire, but also loud, ear-piercing noises. What to others might be irritating or make them disoriented for a moment, had a greater impact on his ears and made a harsh, brutal ringing slam around his head right now, that only slowly started to get better. Too slow for him to hear what else Widdershins were saying before he went to the point of asking him to pull the draconequui's ear, though why he didn't know, and he were still not sure that standing up right now would be a good idea, as loud noises could interfere with his inner ear and make his balance horrible for a time. Besides, it still wasn't completely done ringing around yet, so he kept his ground,a nd just replied with a pleading voice to Widdershins.

"No more loud noises like that... I beg of you."

Amazon, feeling pity on the evergrown who seemed to have taken it the worst of them all from what she could see right now, went over and attempted to take the focus away from the poor plant pony by doing what Widdershins wanted him to do: Pull his ears. Something which she didn't do with her good will, as she recalled what handling a draconequus had done to her before, but hopefully this would go far, far different. At least that was the thought as she grabbed a tentative hold in the draconequui's ears and got ready to pull.

Meanwhile, over at Foxy and Stardust, the phoenix followed what were being said between the two with somewhat disinterest. It was a minor mind at this stage in its life, and things like what the ponies were speaking of were alien to her. Though it wasn't when Stardust's stomach started to growl. This the little one understood at least as she swooped down to the ground, then started to peck random placed before after a while, she managed to find a worm that she pulled up, then flew up with towards Stardust and presented to him, just as Foxy had turned and started talking with Briar, Widdershins and Amazon. It was the only food the little thing knew of it could see right now, though it did know it would take more worms before Stardust was full. Big one compared to the bird.

To know of pony food would require somepony more akin to them, and as Briar was still trying to eget his bearings, Amazon stepped in, and stopped dead in her tracks with the plan on pulling Widdershins' ears, though she were still having a hold in them if he got ideas.

"Oh, could I join in? Been meaning to get something for hours now, but just haven't had the time. Besides, I think Briar could use a bit of alone time perhaps to get back on his hooves. Of course, I could always just stay and keep an eye on him for now, then join you later on. Anything works for me really."

*Cacora was surprised to say the least. She goes over to Anomaly and says,*

"Anomaly? You do realize that the foals, fillies and colts can't eat all of this. It's past time for them to sleep. These crazy events have pushed them to be awake way later than normal. However, If the caretakers allow it, I would say that one small treat is acceptable. However, the reasoning behind this is because, I couldn't bring back the doughnuts I usually bring, when I go to my old favorite shop. Now, Let's get this all stored and hopefully get the Orphans calmed down enough to go to bed. Then I have some things that need to be taken care of. I need to make sure Jelly here gets back home safely and then try to get a message to the Princess of Friendship, so I can hopefully meet with these new changelings. Something tells me that I should meet with them."

*Cacora gathers her cheesecake and a number of the smaller treats. The smaller treats match by smell and or look to the Orphans' favorites.*

"These should do for tonight. The rest can be spread out as the caretakers decide.  They tend to know better than me about the specific needs of each foal in their care."

*Cacora awaits for Jelly's input, before making her next big move. She does, however, go over and check on the caretaker, Honey.*

For only a moment, Starburs allowed himself to be taken in by the music, but once it had ended, he was stunned.

Lightly shaking his head, he turned to Vivid, who asked him a question just a few moments before,

"That would be Satin up on he stage. Interesting, yes?"

He nodded in response, adding, "Yeah, that song she sang was amazing."

"Eugh!"

Lance commented on the looks of the.. um.. otherworldly pony that Happy briefly transformed into.

--

When Void whispered into Lance's ear, he paused for a moment before answering in a whisper.

"I don't trust this guy. Now, I'm fairly certain he isn't about to throw a knife or something at us out of nowhere, at least for now, and it might very well be just me, but at the moment I'd guess it's safe. No thanks to me because I didn't help at all, as I'm fairly used to at this point."

"Oh sure, we all can meet up later. Around here maybe?" Foxy said as she pointed her dark hoof to the ground. Briar seemed to be a bit upset, and she did hear some noise right before she walked over here.

"Is he okay? He seems a bit, uncomfortable..." Whatever it was, it was probably Widdershin's doing. She liked them, but they seemed to go a little far with their pranks. Foxy often did "mess" with other ponies herself though (however right now she is not used to everypony), so she understood a little of why he does things like that.

@Blitz Boom @Seamore Sandwich Serenade trots over to where she pointed and grabbed the second book, "Not just the Sisters, Ziggy. Equestrian history is filled with Evil." She brings the book back and lay's it open, "and you Ponies use their names in the sky. I've come across dozens of examples. I....I don't want to end up that way....also I could technically drag you under, since there is a cave under there with fresh air."

Ancalagon sighed and said to himself "Celestia," he shook his head slightly as he was disappointed in her. "The Draconian territory protection act divides up Equestria to dragons that were to be governors. But I have feeling that those dragons left following that fool of a dragon who claims to be their lord," Ancalagon said/ explained as he pinched his nostrils in frustration. My territory stretches from Manehatten to this little hamlet," he said simply as he looked at the pony infront of him. His stomach growled and he looked at the little dragoness. "Can you go find me something to eat like a deer or something. Maybe a caribou," Ancalagon said with a grin on his face. "It's Vale deer season. Which means the deer will be at their largest this year,"

@Blitz Boom

A circle of fire surrounded Chow and Astral, a grey color, Astral spotting the hints of blue in them, her father was already teleporting them, right before the bolas hit her. Next thing she knew, she was in her father's house, and was frozen in place. He was a pale red, his hair was grey with cyan stripes. He turned around away from his shelf of books, his eyes a deep red. "You know they'll think you're evil for that guy being freed, right?" He asked walking over to her. He turned over to the kitchen. "Terrified Misty quite a bit there." He said, Misty peeking into the room.

Astral let out a sigh of relief. "Can you let us go?"

He looked to her, letting out a sigh, having Astral tumble on the floor. Then removing the bolas from Chow. "You two alright?" Astral nodded, helping Chow off the floor. "Our only option is stopping Warlock now. Before he can do damage." He explained as a book floated in front of him, he sat down and started to read it. "Maybe after you explain this mess to the authorities, so we can get them to help." He said glancing up from the book to Astral.

"What?! No way am I doing that, being banished from Equestria is the last thing I want!"

"Well it's our only option." He turned the page of the book, and flipped the book around, showing a artistic depiction of the destruction Warlock caused to Astral and Chow. "This, is why our magic was banned, and why Celestia barely trusts me to not turn evil." He explained handing the book over to Astral. "He's really powerful as you can see."

She grabbed it with her magic, letting out a sigh. "How do we defeat him?"

"Magic, one of our options. But we have to do it with help, four ponies with magic isn't going to cut it." He stood up, letting out a sigh. "Astral, you have to explain this mess to Golden, I'll be there to clear things out a bit, but we aren't talking to Celestia here. Golden doesn't know me. If it works, we have an entire army fighting against Warlock, something that wasn't possible to use last time." He said walking over to the window, looking over to Canterlot.

Astral looked to Chow. "Sorry about this mess."

"Oh don't worry." He turned around. "Warlock being freed, that was going to happen today anyways. You just happened to be there." He looked over to Misty. "I explained it to her too." He then glanced over to Chow. "But you, feel free to hit her if you're still angry."

After they teleported away, Nectar lowered her head, grabbing onto Francis. "I can't believe you were nearby those ponies!" She picked him up. "I don't blame you for judging them incorrectly, sounded convincing that they could've been good, must've been how they were never found until now."

He was totally convinced they were evil, and came up with an excuse for them to be good. "Wait! How are we supposed to know that wasn't going to happen anyways?!" He yelled as Nectar carried him to safety.

She stopped, looking to Golden. "Well..." She placed Francis down. "Even if that is the case, we have to be careful around them if we find them." She explained. "Golden, can you sense where they teleported?"

Warlock stood in the wreck of Ponyville after he exited the portal, letting out a sigh as he saw the ponies around him who likely saw him teleporting in but he didn't care about that, he looked to the everfree forest. "Seems most of my job is done already." He said to himself as he walked into the forest, using the cloak to hide the lack of his front and back leg despite it wasn't that important to hide. "Maybe her house has the element." He wandered far into the forest and eventually found Astral's house which used to be Sapphire's, but it was empty, he went looking through every crevice. Finding an emerald rock, which he almost mistook for it, he tossed it away. Deciding to look elsewhere for the Element of Greed, wondering if Astral had taken it as he searched.

With the situation already bleak as it was, Sen was seeing the last moments of his life fade away before him but just as a piece of Legion was about to fully destroy Sen's body, it relented and casted self-preservation and self-repair spells. One minimised the damage to Sen's body by reversing the effects of the rotting and emaciation, only localising it into several parts of his body. The other spell is to prevent Sen's mind from completely deteriorating into mush and keeps all existing memories intact. And that means everything Legion remembers is also kept safe as it tried to undo the damage. That was when Sen struck back.

As much as he wanted to chuckle inside, he only did what he had to do and nothing else. It was strange to use unknown kinds of magic but because of the way Legion's magic works retroactively on the host body, Sen's memories flooded back with the new information ready for him to use. He didn't have to think too hard about it; it was almost as natural as blinking his eyes. There was a pause between when he would regain his sight and have it disappear and it happened every few seconds until he could focus on some familiar faces. That waiting paid off. Once he could see Omen's mother, Sen was able to break through Legion's control and speak albeit softly.

"Legion... make mistake. Big mistake. Leaves him... weak and... exposed. Now is your chance. Will try to hold on.... a little longer"

Just as expected, the shadowy form of Legion jumped out of Sen's mouth and slinked away trying to find another suitable host. Or tried to. Omen mother grabbed it on one of her tentacles. It couldn't feel pain but it knew its time was up. It was denied what it desired most and the last thing it could do was to silently wince in pain until it could only faded away into nothing, just like the part of it previously inhabiting Lin. It didn't reply to the question asked to it by Omen's mother because there was nothing to say.

Meanwhile, Sen collapsed from his injuries and simply waited until Legion was dealt with, waiting to see if Legion's countermeasures would be enough to undo the damage already dealt to him. There was a lot on his mind and seeing Omen's mother in such pain, he wanted to last long enough to comfort her however he can. It was the least he could do for someone who has already done more than enough to help him. As for Lin, what she saw in her nightmare was already painful enough but something outside the dark bubble encasing her made her shudder, something far worse. Once more she felt someone else's emotions, a strong feeling of dread mixed with anger and regret but not her brother's. Being unable to do anything to fix this was difficult and if she couldn't fix it, she'll continue to feel that difficult and painful emotion. She was too weak to move, only able to sit where she was and hope something can be done and to hope it wasn't too late.

Stardust continued to wait on Foxy not quite sure what the plan o action was at the moment. He then noticed the offered worm from the Phoenix and gave the bird a pat on the head "Ponies cannot eat worms" he said then tilted his head a bit "At least I don't think so.." he mused  tapping his muzzle with a hoof. His thought process them jumped to another track as he looked back at the Phoenix again "Say I wonder do you have a name?" he asked "if Not I could think one up for you" he stated as he began to think of different names one of which "Fawks" was discarded immediately as if sounded like some kinda name you would find in a book series about a magical school. "Hmm Agni would be good, Agni was the god of Fire, messengers, and purification" he continued to muse

"See Ya, have a good long sleep" she remarked smirking. She waited until he had put some distance between them before sliding off the firework box and pulling out a large dragon firework. "Love playing with these" she remarked, putting it into the ground she then lined it up with the large dragon again, just in case he kicked off again.

"So you like any other male trees?" she asked the female tree. "or do you even date at all?"

She didn't know how that would work, but it was something to talk about, rather then fire a firework at the dragon and end up being on the snack menu.

She could have shot the guard out of the sky, that would have been entertaining, but then. She would have probably missed and ended up being put in a cage. It wasn't worth the risk.

Storm chuckled, "No, that's probably the least of it." He replied, amused. "She's made bombs with lots of different effects. From one that turned me bright and sparkly pink for a while, to another that made my tail into a fox tail and changed my ears too." Storm brought a hoof up to his chin and thought for a moment, "She's also made some really big explosives, edible paints, my party cannon, Party Shells for the party cannon, and she probably would have made an awesome cake or cake batter bomb, but I think Mrs. Cake talked her out of it."

"I handle investments a bit differently from most, as this is more of a customer investment arrangement than a business deal.  Instead of a long term deal where you'd get a percentage of the profit over several years, we use the sales from the second month after the new product is added to our shelves to calculate its potential value, then we give you reasonable compensation for the idea, calculated based on the amount invested.  This way you get your money sooner, and we don't have to keep as many records in the long run.  Normally we do keep track of the names and addresses of our investors, but I'm sure we can work something out.  The second request will be an easy one, as we have some similar products already.  Combining the effects may take a few tries, so I would say the total investment for that should only be around fifty bits.  The first one, however..."  Penny put her hoof to her chin.  "I'm not going to lie, it's more complicated than anything I have ever attempted.  It's going to be expensive to research, and it may be many moons before it's completed.  Even if I am successful, I would have to test the chocolates for a full lunar cycle after the first successful batch, in case it's affected by the lunar cycle like some transformative magics are.  Three hundred bits per month is about the lowest I can expect the research to cost, but if it's successful, I can see it becoming one of our best sellers.  I'll even probably be able to adapt the recipe for transformations into other species besides griffins.  I think it's only fair that I would compensate you for the first two other species I develop from the griffin chocolates recipe as wel."  She waved for Scarcity to follow as she began walking toward a staircase at the back of the shop, saying, "Come upstairs to the kitchen and I'll get you a printout of how we calculate the return on your investment.  Also, be aware that the only time there is no return on an investment is if funding stops before we're successful.  It hasn't happened yet, but that doesn't mean it won't."

Satin smiled brightly as the ponies applauded her. Her horn and eyes grew a dull green as she slowly fed on the praise from them all. When she was satisfied, she grabbed her notebook in her magic and walked off the stage. She walked over to Bubble Tea to thank her for letting her use the stage before walking over to Vivid. "So, what did you think?" she asked, excitedly waiting for Vivid's thoughts on the song.

She turned to the pony next to Vivid. "Oh, hello! My name is Satin Wing. A pleasure to meet you." She bowed. "Are you acquainted with Vivid at all?"

   Despite his quavering sneer of defiance and his protesting grumbles about not being afraid of some government pawn, Kozaky quite visibly backs away from Last Stand into a quite noticeable cower. Reluctantly clamming up as she then turns to the dragon lord, the batpony looks on as, just that moment, a small piece of roof debris pelts him a little above one of his front hooves.

    Letting out a rather ducklike squawk, Kozaky interrupts his Master's conversation:

  "Awk! Guard Brutality! She assaulted me! Did you see that, Master! Eat her!"

 Falling back in shock onto his Master's chest, he is met with the dragon's dismissive chuckle & a new order to carry out. Begrudgingly accepting, Kozaky slowly stalks away from the group, his eyes on Last Stand, unadmittedly grateful for an excuse to leave the presence of a mare who could quire clearly arrest/put his head through a wall. The batpony backs away with one final, disgruntled: "Waauuugh..."

  Mere moments later as Kozaky stalks away an idea quickly flits past his small mind that he doesn't know what a Spa even is. Or the idea of intentionally bathing yourself for that matter. All it occurs to him is that his master requires some sort of alicorn; then maybe we could get back to that whole "town-destruction-thing" he was indirectly promised.

Due most in part to his assuming his annoying plead would not have actually been taken up on & his usual short attention span being as easily dismissed as usual- Oh, so who's being Mr. Snarky now, huh?- not to mention that he had once more forgotten that the loss of his head would render him too uncoordinated to operate his own body. Well, more uncoordinated than usual. And there it is again! Hah! Comedy! His mischievous grin fading to a shorter, but still curious grin; Widdershins doesn't notice Foxy approach as he's staring at the approaching guardsmare. Caught off-guard and perhaps blushing a bit as much as a nearly-bloodless interdimensional being can, Widdershins half-listens to what the foxpony has to say.

    Huff, you say that as if I've somehow incapacitated this leafy guardian and the woman. ...mare.... whatevah, that yer travelin' wit'.

 Changing quickly from an albeit theatrical pout to an expression of shocked awareness, a light bulb literally turns on over the draconequus's head. Though it appears to be made of felt... and moments later drifts limply down to the ground as litter.

   OOh! You want a snack you said? HaveAPancake!!!

  Widdershins rears back expectantly from Briar's prone form on the ground, giddy at the prospect of once more doing the one trick he can actually control with any reliability.

@Trixie .

It would take a few minutes, but eventually, Sorrow would land neatly besides him in the dark Canterlot Gardens.

As could be expected, this time of night, there wasn't really anypony around except for a few Night Guards patrolling the area, whereas most of the interesting things were happening in town. The castle were seemingly without light at this point too, except for a few of the lower areas where the guards would be stationed and some of the kitchen staff still be going at it to provide for the hungry guards, so unless they'd try to rummage through the castle and rudely attempt to awake Celestia - if she were there - it was better to wait. Considering there'd likely be a good deal of guards inside, breaking and entering seemed like a poor choice in case really.

"Hehe, Canterlot gardens. You know, last time I was here, I had to go here like, seven times a day for three days just to collect all the wayward spirits? Something about the power of the castle and what used to be trapped in the garden seemed to draw in the lost. Not sure if Discord's energy really had that much to do with it though. Could be a comfort thing since the princesses lives here really."

@Midnight_Aurora

Anomaly didn't seem to mind that not everything could be eaten at once, and just went on to create a dozen or so boxes out of nowhere whilst Honey seemed to finally get his breath under control again and looked nervously at Cacora.

"She's crazy. She's absolutely bonkers."

Honey didn't like Anomaly loved the draconequus/construct, but didn't know how to show it but still, he didn't speak too much up about... Hey wait a minute. I didn't write that.

"I did. You're writing like he abhors me, and I can see in his scared little eyes that he likes me. Ponies do show affection with looks of horror and bleak hopelessness, right?"

...Sure, let's go with that.

In any case, Honey were a bit out of it, but quietly scurried up on his hooves and moved a little away from Anomaly, who were floating cakes into the boxes.

"C-Cacora? I think it's best if I get somepony else to help with this and then go help get the foals ready to rest. If you could please then, e-escort our guests out and back home now instead? I don't want to bog them down and be bored and tired whilst we get order on things again. I'll make sure the foals gets what you have picked out, but it would really help them too if this place became more... Stable and calm for them. You know, regular surroundings?"

He wasn't directly saying anything, but Cacora should know what he meant as he carefully picked his words.

"Well, with both Cacora and Mrs. Anomaly here there, it should be safe out there, right? I think perhaps it'd be good if I could get home before daddy starts to worry about me being absent too."

It was the first thing Jelly had said since meeting Anomaly, and considering everything, it might be a bit weird that she'd say this, when a little before she had went on about how she didn't want to potentially go out there and get in danger. But then again, she were a filly and curious about new things, which in this case meant Anomaly and the slight chance that there miiiiight be some kind of issue out there that meant that she could see what a draconequus could do.

That she could get home were the main benefit, of course, but... Well, adventure was always the best bonus.

"Y-You helped more than me. You stand your ground and s-speak to it. I was the one who made i-it show like this."

Void's words were shaky as she started to inch back behind the counter where she had started. Before the dragon had shown up, and before she accidentally turned off the illusion spell of the weirdest changeling she had ever even heard about.

Heck, this was likely the weirdest creature she had met, and probably ever would. He was a human, turned changeling... What could she say that was weirder? That she had anti-magic in her aura? At least that was known energy in this world, and studied by some from what she knew of, even if she hadn't heard of others that were born with an aura of it beyond Null and her. This guy though... He came from another world, where there didn't seem like there were any magic and where their versions of ponies looked horrifying.

And Lance had just straight up talked to this thing? Not acted scared, not seemed like he cared all that much either, but kept on a bit and got some information out of him that perhaps others could use. All of that, without backing down.

No matter how much Lance pegged himself down from their earlier talk, she sure couldn't see it now, as somepony that were this brave wouldn't fit with the image that he had tried to paint of himself a few times. Unless he were just not thinking on this as a serious or important thing, but come on... How likely was that?

@CentipedeGhoul @Lil' Lovebug

Vivid got a small, mischievous grin on her face from hearing Centipede's answer, thinking her thoughts about how interested he might be able to become in Satin from that performance, but didn't say anything until the changeling herself wandered over to them after she were done with all parts of her performance.

"It was quite the interesting performance Satin. Not something I have seen before, that's for certain, and quite a bit less boring than the usual opera I tend to be forced to watch.

As for this young man, I have not met him before tonight, but he seems a fine sort for now. It appeared as if he liked your performance quite a bit too. Perhaps you two would get along well?"

"So fireworks are not much to your liking, or was it the corny joke that accompanied it? I have been told that I can at times deliver some eye-rollingly bad lines.."

Not entirely true, as he knew that *cringe-worthy* were perhaps a more correct term for what he were told usually, but it covered well enough to be fitting in the current situation he'd say, considering how Phoenix quite literally were rolling her eyes at his comment. An unfortunate turn of events, but alas, not something he could do much about now. He wasn't a time traveler after all.

"After we have delivered this object to its owner, might I ask what you think should be the next thing to do Phoenix? I would assume you would want to return and have a closer look at the weapon perhaps, but in case Last is still busy with everything going on, is there something else that would intrigue you?."

Ziggy looks at Serenade with some sadness going over her eyes, then goes over and pulls her friend into a hug.

"You're not going to go evil like them Serenade. You're a good creature, and I'll make sure to keep reminding you of it whenever you feel down on yourself, and be around to make sure that you will always have somepony to talk with when you get worried about it. You'll see Serenade. The only reason you're going to get a constellation named after you will be for something heroic, not bad."

Seeing her friend worry wasn't something the zegasus wanted to see, and more than anything, she wanted to make Serenade smile again right now, and free herself from the worry that she would end up like the sisters, Tirek, Chrysalis, or somepony else that had done a lot of bad stuff. She was a good friend and a kind siren, and Ziggy just couldn't see how somepony as wonderful as this could go evll. Especially since she focused so much on keeping her worse sides under control, instead of chancing it and letting it out sometimes around others. A bad creature wouldn't care.

"Heh, y'know, it's kinda funny to hear you have a sort of bomb shelter in your pond by the way. Bet nopony could find you there unless you wanted 'em to."

                                                            =====================================================

@dragon4111 @Widdershins

Nerzhei looked directly at Ancalagon as he mentioned his... Order, technically. It may have been worded somewhat like a request, but there was a finality in the dragon's voice that made it apparent that he wanted things done, not questioned.

"Right away Lord Ancalagon."

Being subservient irked her, to say the least, but at the same time, she knew there there was a time and a place for showing your pride, and this was certainly more of a moment where she did better in swallowing it and do as were expected from her. Both for the sake of herself, and the surrounding area. The happier Ancalagon were about things after all, the better for all of them.

So she spread her wings and took to the sky, headed towards the forest where she had a good inkling of where to start looking for a sizeable deer. SHe had spotted some a few days ago, but not made a move yet as she wasn't interested in deer meat currently, yet had kept a reminder on that spot in case that changed. It hadn't for her, but it would still end up proving useful now it seemed, and hopefully she would be able to get back with... 10-15 minutes potentially. Depended on if the prey were hiding themselves well.

As for Last, she narrowed her eye a little at Ancalagon after his talk about owning this place, or governing it at least, and didn't focus on the dragoness leaving in the slightest.

"So your claim is that this place is supposed to be governed by you? Bah, Equestrian law is madder than I thought if that's the case. Why would Princess Celestia let dragons govern parts of her land?"

@Lloyd

"I ain't going to hit her."

Chow had thought on it for a while after they had been teleported here, to this home of her father, but much as he had wanted to slap the stupid out of Astral's head for letting things happen the way it had, and not warn any of them, he couldn't actually get himself to do it. She were his friend. A stupid and irresponsible friend, sure, but still his friend, and she needed his support right now, not scorn. At least if they were going to get through this whole.

Besides, if he clocked her one now,  her dad was likely going to do something pretty darn bad to him, despite what he had said about going ahead if it were. In his shoes, Chow would've at least, as nopony was supposed to mess with family.

"Much as she's been an irresponsible git about this, she doesn't need me to scorn her for this more. She needs support, ain't that right Astral?"

Flashing a grin at Astral, it was clear it was somewhat more forced than usual, but he still tried to show some sort of solidarity to his wacko friend.

"Now then, if we're gonna be bend on going for Golden and try to reason with him, it's likely not gonna go too easily. From his point of view, we've likely unleashed some sort of horror, or he wouldn't be trying to catch us the way he had, so if we go to him, we're gonna be arrested. Hence, speaking with him there's gonna be a cell involved more than likely, and I ain't sure if he doesn't just toss it to one of the generals."

Chow had gotten a look at the generals twice, and neither the one from the Solar Guard or Night Guard seemed like the kind that'd take their words for things if it was assumed from higher up that they were up to no good. Besides, did they have the time to try and shout them into listening from within a cell? He wasn't sure, but the answer was likely no. Especially after Astral's dad showed off the book that gave a vivid idea about what was gonna happen if this kept on with the leg-less wacko.

"We'd likely have a better shot at things if we tried to meet him on neutral ground. Much as I loathe asking her for favors, I can ask Scarcity if she can arrange something. She tends to have a hoof most places in town, so if there's anypony I can trust to have some idea about how to get something like hat set up, it'd be her.

Also, whilst I remember it lad, you're three ponies with magic. I don't have any myself unless you count that horror thing trapped in my head, but I wouldn't tap into that, even if I knew how to do it.

Which reminds me: Any of you have any idea why being near that freak from before would make something monstrous hammer against its bindings so much to get out and at Warlock? It never tried so fiercely to get out of there before, and I ain't sure what happened. Does he attract evil or something?"

                                                          ==================================================

@Lloyd

It did not please Golden to see them disappear just before the second bolas hit the other pony, but he couldn't wallow in anger over this right now, He needed his focus on the situation.

"Regardless of how much they have to answer for in the end, for the time being they are to be seen as criminals, and I will instruct the generals to approach them as such. I would need substantial evidence to think otherwise currently, as what we have seen thus far doesn't indicate innocence to say the least. Still, once they are apprehended, I will listen to them and hear their point of view.

Sadly though, I can't track in on their teleportation. Normally it can be done somewhat, but witchcraft version of this is another kind of beast. I can't find a coherent thread anywhere. That, or somepony hides their tracks well in their spell. Been a while since I've seen those who can do that, but with these sorts... *sigh* The mess this is going to become."

Thinking on things further, he could already see defensive things he would have to do as the guards started to show up, looking for whatever were making the noise before, but finding nothing.

"Perhaps we need to take this somewhere else, in case you still want your meeting to be somewhat discreet."

@EQ_Theta

Mother had her arm raised and ready to pierce through Sen to tear his soul from his mortal coil, when his body started to convulse and repair itself out of seemingly nowhere. It wasn't perfect, granted, but it left his body in a far better shape than it had been just before. Perhaps enough to safe?

Still, her course were set, and were it not for Sen suddenly speaking through the thing's assault, Mother would have still torn him out of there. The interruption made her halt, doubting whatever or not she should do this, when it seemed like he were starting to get some degree of himself back in control over Legion. And that was the point where Legion burst out of Sen's mouth, leaving the longma to collapse on the floor and the energy to fruitlessly search for a new host until Mother caught it, and began the process of completely eradicating it. A process that was a good deal faster than what had happened with Lin, but no less draining on the reaper.

When the deed were done, and the presence of Legion were completely removed from both Sen and Lin, as well as her realm in general, Mother slumped down on a shaky knee and moved her right hand towards Sen, who were free now and more whole than he were before, but still so very damaged from his ordeal.

Being too weak to maintain it now, the bubble around Lin disintegrated, sending her towards the floor where Omen grabbed her with her tongue so she didn't land too hard. Not that things in here were solid enough to often land hard, but still, she wouldn't take the chance, and neither did the siblings who stacked underneath her to soften what little impact might be less. SOmething akin to landing in a brittle marshmallow.

"Hang in there my child, we will get you help. Omen, I will need you to go and find-"

"Ah, there were you Omen. I've been calling you."

Mother was interrupted rudely by the sudden appearance of Discord who had been signalling for Omen since the possessed Sen first started his yapping and attacking - why her ears vibrated - and figured that perhaps she were here if she didn't answer. For some reason his voice couldn't reach her when she went fr home visits, which were also one of the reasons why back in the day he made sure that she told him when she went off to this place so he didn't have to waste his breath calling her constantly.

He were about to say something more when the strange scene in front of him seeped in and he raised an eyebrow curiously.

"Oh? And what's been going on here? Don't tell me you had fun without the party prince, did you? Well, there's always room for a round two."

He snapped his finger and then with a poof stood in a flamboyant outfit with two maracas, ready to party.

"Cease your talking, chaos being. There is no time for your games."

Discord reported with a puff of pink smoke snorting out of his nose.

"Oh sure, you can have all sorts of fun, but as soon as I show up-"

Mother clenched her teeth and raised her voice.

"Silence!"

Even Discord, who usually did not keep quiet for anything, found pause from the powerful tone in the strange being's voice, though he did get a knowing smirk on his face. He knew who this were now, though frankly, he had expected more from the all-power Mother that Omen kept speaking about back in the days.

"You possess power chaos being, enough to set things straight. I beg of you, cease your prattling and find it in your heart to save my child from the brink."

Her voice had softened a great deal as she spoke again, and Discord didn't feel overly compelled to do what she said anymore... Buuut what the hay? He was here anyway, and funerals always were so dreadfully boring in his mind. No need to have one started in the middle of party time.

A snap of his fingers would help Sen, though how well he'd feel were hard to say, considering the ordeal he had been through. Likely would be unconscious, but that was the beauty of chaos: You never really knew.  It should more than likely end well, but worst case scenario he'd explode, and Discord would have one heck of a hard time to explain things. Though hey, Mother was a reaper, so even if it came to that, Sen's soul wouldn't get away.

Well, time to see what would happen!

*Snap*

@BloodDrops

"I know only of the dryads were I am from, and among them... I'm the only one who still remember our ways. I have yet to even hear of others of my kind anywhere."

Lyriel sounded saddened, remembering her now-corrupt kind as she put a hand to the ground and made nature reclaim the rocket that Blood had set up. That meaning that vines, moss and such climbed it, took it down and rotted it slowly on the ground, making it quickly unusable. She knew that Blood would want to perhaps use it, but as the guard had mentioned, it could be dangerous to those in the air, and she did not wish to burden the locals if possible.

It was one of the reasons she kept her distance for now too. She knew that they had a lot to deal with these days, and did not find it in her heart to put more on their shoulders for the time being. Better for her to stay in the forest, observing those who passed through, learned what she could from a distance, and did hers to do something she had missed for years: Tend to the animals.

"Perhaps the day will come when another of my kind passes through, and we will raise new seedlings to populate these joyful lands, but until then, I at least have the animals here to help. Especially these timber wolves, as your kind calls them. They have such... Anger in them, but beneath the savagery, they are still some of the earth mothers blessed beings, and they need me to soothe them.

They will still not let me near the alpha, nor even tell me which one she is, but progress is being made. It will take time for them to trust me, yet I feel that if I get enough time, she will accept my audience.

What of you little one? Do you have someone in your life? Or perhaps you follow another purpose?"

@Shineling

"So she is making form-changing bombs, canons, and shells for said canons? I no longer have any idea if mom would be impressed, or worried."

Molotov looked at Blitz who kept pulling at her leash to get forward, not focusing much on what was being said as her brother glanced somewhat impressed at her.

"We're all inventors in our family. Mom, dad, grandad, me, etc. We think about advancements and going for the next big thing that can help Equestria. Mom's focus was space, I'm mainly on aviation and gadgets, whilst Blitz... Well, she encompasses our family legacy: Explosives. That's what we were build on, and all of us at least dabbles in it. Blitz is the first since grandad who always seemed to have the greatest focus on it though, and mom sure was a lot of smiles about that. Concerned too of course, since lil' sis was twice as reckless, but still.

Heh, hear me babble on. Kid's looking alright, and she haven't blown herself up yet. Think I have you to thank for making sure it's only her horn that's been messed up, and I owe you big time for that.

Mind me asking though, how the heck did that happen? If you know it that is."

@Seamore Sandwich

"If the only way to get out of this pain is through that door..."

Vivid's voice sounded drained and deprived of hope as she spoke and slowly moved closer to the door.

No, not a door. A barrier that kept them here. Locked between hatred and loss, until they either perished or went insane.

"Then we must... Break it."

She went in and started to slam against the door too, trying to pass it. Weakly at first, but as the time went on, her methodical slams would get stronger, and as she had a strong physique in her spiked, demonic self than her usual self, it should hopefully help them pass this barrier, and hopefully get into a place without an emotion that wanted her to slink back into a hole and stay there whilst she slowly drowned in a sea of her own tears.

@Seamore Sandwich

Scarcity got a chill down her spine from hearing the way that Penny spoke when it came to investments. Not out of any sort of dread or worry, but from joy over hearing how direct and on the mark she were about this. Uncertainty in this were boring to go through, and she were quite frankly not always so kind to nervous beings who wanted to negotiate with her. It was far too easy to get the upper hoof there, and she were a businesspony after all. If she saw a weak link, she would go at it unless she found some kind of angle that pleased her. With Penny, it didn't seem like she had to look far. Much as she would not openly say this, she were starting to like the sentimental mare. She had a certain thing over her, and such interesting depths too, considering she were doing such intriguing things with her candies, which Scarcity couldn't see how completely would happen. And she had seen a lot of magic things in her time.

At the invitation to go towards what were likely Penny's idea of an office where they could speak somewhat privately, Scarcity got a small grin on her face and turned her head towards Brick.

"Return to my office with the wares dear, and bring back the ninth box to me here. I will settle things here rather than at home."

Brick let out a small grunt in agreement and turned around on his heels, heading towards the exit and Scarcity's antique store.

He briefly stopped just outside the entrance to unwrap one of the lollipops that Scarcity had bought to him and popped it in his muzzle, which made her chuckle a little. Small things like this were fun to her, considering how stoic Brick tended to be most of the times. Something she valued greatly in a worker so close to the more... Delicate part of her work, yet it was somewhat good to see that he did have some regular sides to himself when it was appropriate.

"What you say sounds good to me Penny. Prices are reasonable, earnings on both sides are professional, the time-frame is okay, as long as the running reports keeps going, and the ultimatum of what happens if payments are neglected are wise of you. A smart pony always prepare for those who tries to bail on them, rather than letting it keep on and build up a tab. Nopony should take advantage of you when you deliver the product after all.

I can assure you that your discreetness is something that will be compensated too, worry not on that. As long as you keep your word about not letting it be traceable back to me, I have no issue paying a little more. Some things are worth the extra investment when it comes to certain matters."

She would speak as they went, but hold something back until they reached the part where she would get a print out, which should be a place where she could say what she wanted just between the two of them.

"Let us simplify things somewhat from my side Penny. I will pay three months in advance for the research of the griffin effect, plus an extra three hundred each time for your complete non-disclosure of my involvement in this. If you manage to complete the research and testing within the last two months of the three month installments, then consider the excess bits a bonus.

Make sure that everything is tested to be safe before telling me the product is finished too. Take an extra few months testing if needed, but make sure it works properly and safely. I will not take chances when it comes to Ch- my associate."

She took a step forward, and looked at Penny with a smile on her muzzle, but a brief, toying glimmer in her eyes.

"I am willing to put a sizeable amount into your research Penny, because the end product means something to me. Do this well, and I might have other things I could invest in, and clients of some value that would suddenly find your store and what you can do highly fascinating."

Scarcity liked to give some incentive to those she invested in to do things right the first time, and when it came to this, she couldn't afford to have it backfire even once. If Chow went out to use the chocolate, expecting to be a griffin for a while, flew out and then it ended with him high above a mountain... She had invested too much time in him already to have it end like that.

Zhu listened, but said nothing as they explained what they knew of when it came to the lifespan of Serpanthers. There was little he could say to it regardless, other than ask them more things that had troubled his mind a few times about them afterwards, which seemed to become a moot point as a figure appeared that even he, who knew little of their story, would know about.

"Khala."

The first, made by the Creator himself long ago, who now came to welcome his parents to the other side.

Truth be told, he had never been certain about the afterlife. He knew of ghosts, of resurrections and the usual idea of Tartarus for the worst kinds among the departed. Yet what would happen to those who did not do vileness to that degree, and whom were able to let go instead of clinging on to this plane? He had always assumed they were simply vanished, or at best reincarnated, but seeing Khala now made him think that perhaps, the blessed afterlife was actually a thing. There was something about her presence that made him think that, even after this time of doubt, and it made him feel at peace about his parents having to leave, because for once, he could believe it when he thought that they went towards a better place.

"I will seek what information I can about my sister, and when the time comes that my duty is finally over, and I can be allowed my peace, perhaps I can tell you all about it."

He went forth and gave his parents a last hug, whilst tears went down his face.

"May Khala watch over you both, and know that you will be remembered and missed."

When he finally let go of them, he looked them over well for the last time he would ever have the chance.

"Farewell, mom and dad. I will meet you on the other side."

The last part was more hope than knowledge. After all the things he had done, and all he had to do... Even if it were for balance, some of the things were undeniably evil, and whatever or not that could be forgiven when his time would finally come, he didn't know. He just hoped that wherever his parents were going, that they wouldn't be able to see any of it. They should not have to witness the atrocities that sometimes had to happen in the name of balance.

@Widdershins @Shineling

"You say threaten, I say playful teasing. Besides, look around you. Who do you really think is at threat here currently? Me or you?"

A weak laughter escaped his mouth as he carefully took another bite from one of the love muffins, still not certain if there were going to poison him in some way, as he had no idea how the hay anypony could bake love into a product and had to think this was some kind of sugar instead he didn't know. That, or just another freaky thing about Ponyville.

"And love energy ain't too far off from marrow really. It's an ingrained part of a being that us changelings have to get out through a good deal of draining, and it's pretty tasty. Though when I ate marrow back in the days, it was more of a treat, as it wasn't vital like love is. Haven't touched it since I became this. Kind of hard to feel comfortable sucking the marrow out of anything that you were likely talking with at some point, you know? Plus changelings can't really eat meat. Or well, I can't at least anymore. Makes me sick."

It was more the sickness than any morals that made him stop eating marrow here quite honestly, but that was a tidbit that he were going to keep for himself for the foreseeable future.

"As for the transformation magic, it better be good. I had to specialize a lot in that to look and feel right when I changed into a small pony like that. Felt all cramped for the longest time until I got it right. Especially with the whole *going bipedal* thing in the mix."

                                                =====================================================

@Widdershins @Twilight-Shimmer @Foxy Socks

Amazon wasn't even sure what to think anymore as Widdershins... Acted himself she supposed? All of the body manipulation, changing forms, shapes, sizes, etc. were still pretty weird to her, and she couldn't even tell at this point if any of what he did were something you could consider normal for the draconequus. After all, what is normal for a being that does most things at random? Well, except perhaps pancakes, but that might just be his shtick for the time being more than anything normal.

After a while of seeing Widdershins unfold, she finally let go of his ears, not sure why she had even kept on for this long, but feeling slightly disturbed that it had been something she hadn't really thought much on, considering the last time she laid hooves on a draconequus, she were torn apart.

Cursed be that floral freak-show of a chaos being...

She would admit though, that compared to that other one, Widdershins were somewhat entertaining. A little creepy and disturbing, yes, but he seemed to be more in the line of messing around rather than destroy, and a few times he could hit the head on the nail when it came to his comments and actions. Though as soon as she saw him wriggle around on Briar and talk about pancakes, she got a noticeable winch going over her face.

"W-Wait, check it before you give them any. Remember, bleach is bad for ponies."

Briar didn't seem to mind much as he started to get back on his hooves again, though the low voice of him giving some sort of prayer to the great trees about Widdershins not assaulting more of his senses were noticeable if you had good ears.

"I'm fine, just as long as that does not happen again. I'm not sure if my inner ear won't shatter if it comes to that, and that would mess up my balance for a long time."

As for the phoenix, she didn't (yes, canon it's a girl now) seem to bother much with the crazy goings on, as long as it didn't get too close, and just looked at Stardust as he rejected the worm. She didn't really understand what he was saying, but his movements away from the meal did speak volumes, and since it was a pity to let things like this go to waste, well... She ate it as he went on frankly, charring it slightly before consumption.

Her not understanding what Stardust were really saying right now would also make it kind of hard to name her anything that would help, though at the mention of the word Agni over and over again, she cooed a little, liking the sound of the word, even if the meaning were lost.

Hopefully she'd learn to react to her new name in time, though Stardust were likely gonna have to spend some time training her a bit with that in mind. But hey, they both had a seemingly eternity in front of them, certainly there'd be time.

Even if Kozaky couldn't really tell what a spa were, he would likely be able to read the sign where it said *Spa* in big letters and take that as a giant clue that he had found the place, though if he'd enter he wouldn't find anypony at the desk. Just a bell that could be rung to get the attention of the clerk that was apparently somewhere else.

That is, if he could read, and if he did, that he wandered inside. Othewrwise, he was going to have a fun night walking around.

Storm nodded, a small frown tugging at his muzzle. "Yeah, Blitzy has a small problem with remembering to stay safe." He poked himself in the forehead with a hoof. "Her horn was broken off by one of her explosives, she didn't add a long enough fuse I think it was." Storm shook his head, "Well her horn will grow back at least and I've been making sure to help her stay safe as much as I can. He smiled slightly,  "She's gotten a bit better about staying safe with her experiments though, so I don't have to worry quite as much as I used to."

Ancalagon chuckled and said with a bit of humor to it "Who says it's hers?" he chuckled slightly as he looked at the crystal castle in the middle of town. "Hmm let me guess a new princess?" he asked as his tail swayed slightly. He chuckled to himself as he looked to Canterlot. "Glaurung where are you my old friend?" he asked himself. "Did you perish to become that very mountain that those two sisters made their castle upon?" he asked himself but also slightly aloud. His voice held sadnss times of the old dragons were gone. These new dragons pa crystal eating schmucks.

Astral knew her father was angry when he suggested that, but he was likely to only let one slap go through. Misty walked slowly into the room, but then ran in, tackling Astral to the floor with a hug. "Whoa!"

"Seem's she's missed you, even though it's only been a minute."

Misty pried away from Astral, stepping away. "Well yeah." She stared menacingly at Astral as she stood up. "Even though what she tried to do was naive, as much as Warlock being freed wasn't her fault."

Astral scruffed Misty's hair, then reforming her braid after messing it up. "I missed ya too bud." She turned around to Chow. "You going to answer his question?" She said, turning her head over to her Iron Star, pointing to Chow.

"Oh right! well, I can't really." He said letting out a sigh. "Ponies have tried to free Warlock before, because he was evil. But being stone, that was hard to do. I stopped them of course. One of them stole his Element of Greed though." Eyes widened, Astral ran to the bookshelf, stopped by the book she was going to look for, floating in front of her. "Remember the Elements of Harmony? Well there's the Elements of Disharmony, which ponies think are only a myth as much as they did with the Elements of Harmony."

The book floating had the title. "Elements of Disharmony."

"Sapphire wrote it while studying where Warlock got his necklace. I found it rather fascinating. They exist to keep, ironically, harmony. Can't have good without evil." He used his hooves to demonstrate it, creating white smoke on one, and black on the other. "Cause without one, the other becomes dominant." He shook his hooves, dissipating the smoke. "Anyways, Warlock is complicated and I have no idea why you want to join him." He walked over to a teapot in the kitchen, pouring some tea, mixing tea into it. "You could have a held back desire to become evil, and you see Warlock as a way to learn even more dark magic."

Astral turned away from him to Chow. "Chow, about Scarcity, you really want to talk to somepony now that we're wanted?" She lowered her head. "You can't really help with defeating Warlock either way. Especially if simply being near Warlock causes those types of feelings. You'd have to stay away from the battle."

                                              =================================================================

Nectar let out a sigh. "Chances are they won't want to converse even if they are innocent. If we're going to lock them in a cell in order to do it, they'd try not to get caught." She walked back inside. "And I think keeping this a secret at this point is, well, pointless. We need to notify the public that something is going to attack Equestria or they might get harmed by it because they weren't prepared." She looked out across the landscape. "I know ponyville was just attacked a while ago, but making sure they know there's another attack coming is important."

                                              =================================================================

Warlock growled in anger, he wanted to level the forests, just to make searching easier and to relieve his anger. but he couldn't, ponies would know of his existence and would try to stop him, and in the high numbers that the royal guards were in now they'd likely succeed. He approached the two sisters old castle, wondering in his mind why they hadn't continued to use it. He floated over to the castle, landing inside. "Where is the dang thing!?" He yelled loudly, having enough of it. Swinging his hoof, yanking all the books off the shelves onto the floor, he swung his other one, even though it no longer existed, and knocked down the ones from the other shelves. He took deep breaths, sitting down on the ground. "Maybe a shop in ponyville has it." He floated up, instantly teleporting back to Ponyville, wandering around the rubble to find an intact shop to see if it had anything.

Lance figured at this point he had gone insane. Why he still talked to Happy without any enthusiasm was beyond him. He felt that he should be running or some sort of reaction, but he acted as if this was a casual conversation, with almost nothing out of place. The only thing that was different was the huge amount of suspicion that was present, drenching every word that Lance spoke with the stuff.
