THAT ENDING BATTLE    I love how she's come full circle and now is doing for HumanTwi what ponyTwi did for her, in teaching her to understand friendship and all   And tbh, unpopular opinion but that's why I actually DON'T want Sunny to go back to Equestria - she has a life and friends and a place in the group that I just can't see being the same if they inserted her back into the ponyM6 - only ponyTwi actually knows her. I think the human world needs her more than Equestria, tbh

I really don't like the idea of her alicorn'd at all, really...unless it worked like Rainbow Power, alicorn'd up temporarily, then reverting back to unicornhuman.

Not a fan of Sunny staying in human world, personally. If the mane 6 can have a long distance friendship with pony Twi, I think they can do it with Sunny, too. (Same could be said for the pony friends the mane 6 have made; Cheese Sandwich, Coco, etc) still friends, but they're all different places.

Hello there Shimmer lovers. I've noticed that some of you want our fair angel to stay in the human world but do want her to eventually return to Equestria but not as a member of the Mane 6. I just wanted to take some time and share my thoughts with you on that subject. I'd like to say in advance that if you disagree with me, just know that Sunny herself has realized that magic doesn't belong in the human world. She's even blamed herself for bringing it for Celestia's sake! You say "Sunset Shimmer has a home in the human world and she's made friends there. She can't just let all that go." I understand your point but I assure you that it's not over for her friends in the human world. Maybe Sunny can create a journal with the magic in the human world. That way she could have a way to keep in touch with the Humane 5 after she and Princess Twilight return to Equestria with all the magic in the human world. Speaking of Twilight, I'd also like to say that Sunny's role in the human world is basically over and should be given to Sci Twi. I'd really like to see where the writers take her story as the new member of the HuMane 6. As for our sweet Sunset, I'd personally like to her to become the 7th Element of Harmony as the Element of Forgiveness because that's what a good friend does: they forgive your mistakes so she WOULD in imo despite what people say. That'll be all. Stay Sunny my friends

This was my favorite part of the whole post.

If there's one thing this show's taught me, it's that friends don't have to agree on everything. As long as we love and support each other at the end of the day.

I just found this, so I may be a little bit late, but for those of you who don't know, apparently during "What more is out there" Sunset was supposed to have a part in that song...

that really grinds my gears. Not just because Sunset was cut, but also because it added a lot to the song, played more on the duality between Human Twilight and Sunset that was already present in the film, and also due to the fact I felt the movie didn't have enough Sunset in it. I'm really sad it was cut out. At least there is the animatic.

During the song she misses Equestria, which is even more exciting. That's what most of us here want, Sunset to return to equestria. Like, it doesn't even have to be permanent. I want that closure between her and Celestia so bad.

 

That song could've been fucking awesome. And that what really disappoints me.

NO seriously, that came out like a day or two ago and I hadn't gotten a chance to watch it yet. HOLY CRAP ON A CRACKER.

 

Based on the film's version of Sunny, I've been very adamant about her NOT going back to Equestria, at least not for any longer than a brief cameo, but woooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I can see why it was cut, and as a deleted scene, means that it DID NOT HAPPEN and IS NOT CANON, but holy damn that song.

 

I just... I don't... woooooowwwwwwwww

 

ALSO: when do we get the unreleased track version of that song? Because I need it on my iPod something fierce.
