I was watching ESAM's videos about his take on Smash Ultimate.

It's interesting that he's more impressed by K. Rool's crown throw than he is by the potential combos with his blunderbuss, but I guess I can see how it's good. It can zone and it can easily start combos. But the blunderbuss... You can grab with it (In his reveal he literally sucked in Kirby with it), you can start combos with it, you can edge-guard with it... There's just so much potential, and it deals freaking 40% with the second shot. That's even more than a charged DK punch... That I think is where his real power is.

Defrosting the freezer! (Well it's still going on.)

I've had the thing two years, only just found out it should be defrosted twice a year. I thought it was automatic, but no that's the fridge.

TBH it was getting quite Arctic Region in there - LO-O-OTTA frost - nearly needing a sledge and dogs to go in . . .

Also I moved it into the conservatory, got annoyed with it taking up a corner of the dining room (no room in the kitchen for it), so now means I can have an easy chair there instead.

Also means not hear it as much, if at all. Sometimes hear it start up in the night (there's often a massive 'clonk' when the relay closes, and makes me think WTF... ...? )

Wasn't 10 minutes ago, but 2am, but I nearly got up to type it here...

Counting the expansion joints in the M6 bridge over the river Esk - but not literally - when a semi goes over (and there are lots)  you get a sort of clonk-clonk noise from the tires. I think there's at least seven, or maybe eight.

Watching ducks on the river Esk. Jeez those animals are hardy - I don't fancy sitting in freezing water first thing in the morning. It is cold out there. And never mind sticking your head under trying to find something to eat.....
