Hi everypony!

 

What was your reason for joining this community/forum and being somepony in it as you are?

I decided to join the community en this forum in particular because I like interactin with folks and thought joining a forum was a great idea! And I have absolutely no regrets!

 

What about your reason to join the community/ this forum? and as a bonus, how active are you in the community?

Because there are a lot of nice people here . You can strike up a conversation with pretty much anyone, even when you are feeling a bit down. There is RPing and then there is the wonderful art .

My reason is in an effort to start becoming more active in the Brony fandom, I've joined in multiple pony websites, MLP Forums being one of them. It also turned out to be the pony website I visit the most thanks to how nice many people are here.

I was pretty big into MLP when I first got into it. A group of us were on the Cartoons & Animation board at Gamefaqs discussing the series when the forum was made so we all jumped over here. We got tired of boring sermons by non-bronies about why MLP is the devil and the strict rules of Gamefaqs.

 

These days I barely do anything pony related. I watch the show at the end of the season and then hermit away in non-pony areas of the forum.

my reason to join was that I need happy safe enviroment to grow and someplace where I can socialize with people without the fear of being rejected or attacked. I am very happy with the results that I've gotten here in this place so far and . it has made me a better person

I joined because I wanted to post something on a topic about G5.

As for activenes, if the forum games adds up the post you post I would probably have a higher rank... I started to wander out of the games after someone told me that I have a potential to be a good user if I don't only play at the games... So since then, I started to check the other topics and find them quite intresting. So I would like to thank the person who encourages me to check other topics. By doing so, I am now Muffin ranked!

I origionaly joined to try and discuss/debate about the ibw comic series, as non of my freinds who are into comics were bronies. I have still yet to have one of these disccusions! That's mostly because there are so many better things to do on here that i hadn't of thought of when i joined, and i think this forum has made me a better person because of it (cheesy and cliche i know, but the truth non the less).

 

My activity focuses around 3 areas of the forums: CtaM (but only whene i get a chance, or can be bothered to go through the 28 pages that was made in the hour i was away! ), ship the member above you (realy fun and I WILL OVERTHROW HER HIGHNESS(lease don't let her see this!), eventually ) and just commenting on peoples statuses (just cause! )

I joined the forums for the same reason I started watching MLP; I was feeling down and misanthropic, and I needed to surround myself with optimism and people I hoped would change that for me... it's working. :] Also, I could tell that I wouldn't be very social at all if I didn't join a community like this, and as introverted as I can be, this was pretty much necessary for me. x3

 

I'd say I'm fairly active, especially in PMs, Welcoming Plaza and replying to status updates, but I don't really do much posting anymore.

The reason I joined this forum was to become involved in the brony community. After about a year since I became a brony, I never talked to anyone who liked the show. Rather than finding the forum myself, I accidentally stumbled upon this forum when I asked a MLP-related question on Google. That was when I found this wonderful community. I remember when there was like 15-18 thousand members on here lol. Anyway when I first discovered the site, I didn't join right away. Rather, I was a longtime lurker until I decided to join in June, 2013. To this day, I have not regretted joining this place; for the members on here are like a second family to me. (:

I did originally to find a nice community of bronies. I did. But there are some ponies here that are a little... too into MLP:FiM. Some disgusting cretins, but mostly this site is good people.

Art. Tons of tons of art. And artists. It's been ~3 years ago, and I have a terrible memory, but from what I recall I've joined the community after watching a few episodes in order to check the fandom out. See what THEY are all about and stuff.

The amount of positive fanart/music/tons of other artistic creations; helped me in making my decision to stay. But in all honesty, I've met a bunch of very crazy people with an insanely positive mindset towards the world and very, but very diversified personalities. And I just enjoyed talking with them.

 

As for why I've joined THESE forums, it's because I was forced (yes, forced, I know what I'm saying and feeling and I remember everythin' from that day ) to leave previous forums. Why I picked MLPF? I guess I was somewhat called in here by a couple of friends from previous forums. Been hanging around ever since then.

I started watching the show in mid 2011 and at that point, I knew that Bronies were a thing on the internet but for the first few months I was a Brony, I was alone.

 

For some reason, joining a forum for MLP did not occure to me until much later in March the next year. I wanted to have a place where I could talk to my fellow Bronies and this was the first site that came up from the Google search results.

I joined this forum because, in my enthusiasm as a new brony, it was the first site that came up on a Google search, because its name is a search term.

My answer to this question is quite simple- I didn't want to annoy others with talk of ponies, so I found a pony-specific site.

 

Although, TBH it took up all the courage I could muster to sign up here, because the only person that knows I'm a brony made it clear I shouldn't be commenting on forums. But hey, it's my life not hers, right?

I found the forums by accident when I was looking up pictures on google images.... I decided to follow one to its source and I ended up here.... I thought this place looked cool so I made an account and I have been here ever since
