Well I didn't find it specifically to be an avatar on this site, but I like to make graphics using vectors and suchlike, and so I have a folder full of random pony stuff.  When I joined the forum, I knew I'd need an avatar, so I rolled through and chose the image I felt like using at that moment, and here we are.
