I keep a back scratcher under my pillow. I have a persistent little itch just out of reach in the middle of my back that seems to be a permanent feature of my existence, and only a handy back scratcher can relieve it. So there it is. I sometimes keep some soft earplugs under there too in case the power goes out at night and my bedside fan stops giving off that lovely white noise. With earplugs I can at least focus on my own heartbeat or breathing as a steady background sound when my fan isn’t working.

I have one of those raised up cushions. Sometimes I get acid reflux at night and that's supposed to help with that
