An army doesn't have to consist of people who kill other people, although if it comes to that, I am sure we would have no choice.

No, the army I am thinking of would primarily exist as a means of helping others, in a systematic, efficient, and ordered way.

 

The kind of Army (if it can be called that) is just not possible. Sorry if i burst your bubble, but this is the real world and this world can't live without evil and it can't live without good. There will always be something to fight about, even about the most silliest things. The human brain is very complicated constructed and if somebody actually manages to build some kind of country, i will bet a million bucks that one, probably even a few will start commiting crimes and if that happens, you're all dead.

Many bronies don't follow the idea of love and tolerance.  Not saying that all bronies are like this, but there are some that are homophobic, racist, etc. There is also no such thing as a 'perfect nation'. Besides, how would you get the funding for your nation? How would the nation work? Where would it be located? Why would all these bronies make their own nation just because they like a show about magic horse There are too many variables.  Honestly, it'd just be a complete and total disaster.

I was originally posting in this thread as taking it more seriously than what I thought I should be. But if this thread was actually to be taken seriously, starting new country is extremely difficult process to begin with and countries are extremely unwilling to cede their territory to anyone.

I think and feel that this is fully possible, and should be arranged and orchestrated with all caution and haste.

The world as a whole has been in its currewnt state of turmoil for far too long, and eventually it will reach a breaking point where many nations will dissolve, and chaos will be a large factor in the lives of many people. I plan to use this time to forge a new, hopefully (but really, who can tell?) better, nation. Probably in the sad, ruins of what used to be America. Just saiyan.

Actually, if to take it seriously (yeah, sure...), in theory NLR has a possibility to start as part of RF, located at the Northern parts of Siberia, and even can get support as a programm of "Populating of the Northern regions". But that would mean dependency on RF. And who the hell would like to freeze to freaking death trying to do that? I think almost noone.

Also. Let's assume that NLR did get its territory. It'll need to produce something to get money in order to exist, which would undoubtably be difficult (if not impossible).

You believe this world is in turmoil, because you believe everything that those fear mongerers tell you. We're actually in one of the most peaceful times, human history has ever seen. We have no sort of a world war, we barely have any civilwars in this world and people barely from any illness.

 

In the middleages, living was far worse. You where getting executed, if you only thought of overthrowing king, or if you would have different believes then others. Death was always a topic, because of things like war or the black plaque. These are very basic examples, but if we go through human history, we will actually be thankful, for what we have now.

 

If you want to build a nation because this world is so shitty, you should educate about the world itself first, because humanity isn't evil. We're just flawed, just like everything nature has to offer and a new nation won't change that.

At best, NLR becoming region within a country would be closest it can get to independence and international recognition.

I'm definitely not as pessimistic about this world as you are. Thing is, we are human therefore there will always be conflict no matter what. If world were to be destroyed, our hypothetical country would be brought down with it no matter what ideology its people may follow. I'm very certain that each country wishes that they could be best as possible, but then you must face reality and realize that there are limitations. For instance, if hypothetical NLR were a country so poor with poverty widespread, many people will commit crime because they're that desperate to survive.

I think such an idea of a Utopia on paper would turn out to be a Dystopia for the citizens very quickly.

not to say it has never been done - but it is like dropping a droplet of dishsoap into a greasy pan - the grease may separate in that bubble, but eventually the grease will simply try to overtake the spot.

 

Mind you, all change must start somewhere - but regardless of which way you go, the opposite force will pull on it - ultimate corruption has the seed of hope, and blind utopia has the seed of corruption. You simply have to be mindful of both.

 

Utopias become corrupt because people become so used to having everything they need that they forget what suffering is, allowing corruption to slowly infiltrate from within. Corruption eventually is overcome as people eventually get sick of being treated like sh*t and rise up and overthrow it.

Trump would pay people who don't want to be in the USA to get the hell off his continent. Esp if he becomes president (potential conflict of interest - america's a lost cause to try to reform) He is the expert in starting up ventures, NOT going to other countries and taking them over..

Remember that this isn't going to be huge, at least not to start. There will still be a lot of places left... unreached, by our new nation, and so migrating there from elsewhere would be a change for the better.
