The Mandalorian: so far so good. I like the pace and story so far and it's a LOT better than the newer SW movies.

Just finished watching new mini-serie adaptation of Agatha Christie's 'ABC murders'. Not quite sure what to think about it. Since the original book and the tv film from the 90's are timeless and iconic, I don't really feel we needed a new take on the classic story. If it's not broken etc... As far as I remember, original plot was completely different so this didn't even feel like something Christie would have written. Not bad, but still bit of a let down in some areas

Though John Malkovich was superb in the main role, as always

The Mandalorian. Just finished it up and I’m super excited about how they bought in the dark saber into the show! ( hence from the cartoon series) I don’t really like the idea how Disney changed the part about the Mandalorian not being a race but a creed... Mandalore is planet and people who lived and raise there are called Mandalorian. Unless they means by the warrior part being the creed but... these warriors goes by mandalorian. It’s like saying Chinese people who lives in China is not a race but a creed. Disney you’re confusing and yet trying for another attempt for force diversity.

Most recent thing I watched was an episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I always expect an episode of iasip to be batshit insane, and yet it always exceeds my expectations  

The most recent show that I watched all the way through was Mindhunter on Netflix. Fantastic show! I 100% recommend it if you like true crime or criminal psychology.

Still going through the X-Files. Started watching the reboot and there's some... far from exceptional episodes in the reboot. I mean there's one that's bad on TNG Sub Rosa levels. A good chunk of the episode was either pointlessly political, or about some sort of drug trip. I think it was called "Babylon."

Breaking Bad, an excellent show that's unfortunately not 10/10 material because there's just a few too many insufferable characters. Some of them have this sort of virtue-signaling self-righteousness about them that I just can't stand, oh and the all of the hypocrisies, that may make for flawed characters as every character should be, but they also make for downright irritating ones that at times I can hardly tolerate.

 

And some of the people who do this are called good characters, and as far as even the best in the show...

Tangled: The Series. I held off until season 3 was complete before watching, so i'm just now starting on the new episodes.

Oh my gosh, the opening episode floored me! 

I won't give any details in case others haven't seen it. And please don't give any spoilers to me either. I'm enjoying it waaaaaaay too much!

The... rather disappointing season finale of Picard. Not only does it rob itself of emotional impact, but it's clear the ending was designed to keep the series going. Almost would like it better if this was the end of a mini-series... It's going from an 8/10 show to a 7/10 or even 6.5/10 show in my book, and I'm starting to feel like the show's quite likely to further jump the shark. It's a shame because mid-season 1 was generally pretty solid, but episodes 9 and 10 both were at least a little disappointing.

Just finished The Mandalorian. It's probably the first Star Wars-related live action thing I really enjoyed, even though I probably missed a lot of references and easter eggs meant for SW fans. I like how simple it is, and the general atmosphere (I felt a vague vibe of the first two Witcher books for some reason). Looking forward to season 2.
