As the title goes, What song did you like most when you where still a kid, be it a theme song to a popular cartoon , a Disney song or even one of those really niche bands.

My uncle used to play it every time we rode his car. It was EPIC. In fact, I remember the words by heart.

My favorite song from my childhood was Complicated by Avril Lavigne. I remember how in love I felt with that song when I first heard it. It was practically all I ever listened to over and over again! I also thought that I was so cool for recognizing all the words to it. Today... it's no longer my favorite song.

Not a single song, but a lot of Pink Floyd songs. Off the top of my head ones such as Echoes, Us and Them, The Great Gig in the Sky, Hey You, In the Flesh? etc... My Dad pretty much only listened to Pink Floyd, and I'd listen to his music whenever he'd play it.

My mother and father would listen to a lot of rock music. They would always tell me how much I would always listen to Red Hot Chilli Peppers all the time, but I can't seem to remember, haha.

 

On the subject of RHCP, this is a song that I loved as a kid, and I still love it to this day... yeeeah, I don't have good taste in music. lol

Yes, believe it or not, back in the mid-late 90s, I actually listened to and loved music contemporary to the time. This is especially strange considering if you asked me today, I don't really remember music from the 90s.

I have tons of them. One would be Shut Up by Sin With Sebastian...and no, at the time I had no clue what it was about. Another one is Tubthumping by Chumbawamba.

 

I Just Can't Wait To Be King was my favorite Disney song, and later, when I was around 11, I was addicted to Played-A-Live by Safri Duo and L'Amour Toujours by Gigi d'Agostino.

 

Slightly after that I listened to Come With Me by Special D all the time.
