gaming Games you have NEVER finished

Here are some of the games that I never finished:

Grand Theft Auto IV :@ I just don't seem to have the motivation to complete it and I tried to play it on PC but the save system on that port is extremely volatile and you can end up losing everything because of it likely not loading the save file. I want to try V one day when the price is lower and more affordable.

Now for an obscure game that's proof why most licensed games at the time weren't good :@ the Game Boy version of Gremlins II: The New Batch. Sunsoft generally made good games in the late 80s:@early 90s :@ this is not one of them. It was obvious it was made because of Super Mario Land's success and tried to copy its formula. However, it ends up worse in every which way. There's a jump on stage 4 that has to be pixel:@perfect and the final boss from what I watched on YouTube is beyond unfair. You get projectiles rained on and have to dodge them with little room for error. Fun!

I actually finished MMX6 a couple years ago with Rookie Hunter mode. What a difference that mode makes.

(coming soon)

From recent Memory, i have never finished Batman for Amstrad, Batman - The Caped Crusader for Commodere 64, never finished Superman on Nintendo...and thats it, i think.

Oh wait, i have never finished Rage Racer, because it made so angry.

There are a few other Games, but i dont remember the Names anymore, except for Gost Master -  The Gravenville Chronicles, that game made me so angry, that i destroyed the Cd.

I also cant seem to beat the first Alone in the Dark game, because...i dont know, maybe my Version has a Glitch.

Im at the Final Boss, know what to do but it just doesnt work.

Heart of Darkness. A very fun and very cool game... but also very hard. As a kid I loved it but it was so hard I just couldn't beat it, lol.

If you don't know what it is, here's a video:

Demon's Souls, only because my PS3 broke before I could finish it

All the Halo games

Dishonored

Final Fantasy 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 10, 13

I could keep going on

  • 1 year later...

Chrono Trigger. Great RPG, but I never got the chance to finish it.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Never finished Ghostbusters on NES. One of the few games I've ever played that was so bad I legitimately refused to play it all the way through. :eww:

I've also never finished Unlimited Saga on PS2. I actually like the game and find it very underrated. However, after it took me twenty hours just to beat one of the seven stories (Laura's)...I got burned out.

I have Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon and played it for a while but then just left it be. It was pretty fun though so I feel like I should pick it up again soon.

Oh it's a long list (only counting ones I never finished the main game):

  • Final Fantasy (3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 12)- 3 and 5 because they're terrible, 4 because of a midboss close to the final boss, and 12 because I just never got through it. I never got through 6 because of problems with my emulator, and I never got through 8 because IT IS WAY TOO F****ING LONG.
  • Etrian Odyssey (2 and 3)- I was on the last stratum in both cases, but had issues navigating.
  • Halo 4- I didn't have an Xbox 360 for long enough, but I didn't like the campaign anyways.
  • Call of Duty: World at War- A bug where I couldn't trigger a cutscene that would finish a mission.
  • Dishonored- The game is just too freaking hard. I got roughly half of the way through, and then had issues.
  • Donkey King Country- Minecart levels. Enough said.
  • Banjo-Kazooie- Thanks entirely to Rusty Bucket Bay.
  • Star Fox Assault- Didn't get to play it long enough.
  • Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga- My emulator didn't allow me to press 3 buttons at once.
  • Chrono Cross- I never had the time to finish it.
  • Disgaea: Hour of Darkness- The grind gets really insane towards the end of the game. You literally have to grind 30+ levels from the 5th to last stage and the last stage. You start the whole thing roughly level 55. Do the math. Yeah, it's stupid, and one of the few blemishes on a great game.
  • Pokémon Gold- Most of the game was way too easy, to the point I got to the Elite Four about 10 levels under where I needed to be... Frankly, the difficulty was all over the place on this one.

Earthworm Jim comes to mind. It's been a while since I played it but I remember getting stuck on the level with the glass submarine or whatever that thing was. I still haven't finished Sonic Mania. It's a great game, just been busy doing other stuff.

I  never finish any of my games...I'd get bored from them easily.

I'm not very good at games – I have fewer games I have completed than those I haven't. :adorkable: The worst was probably Mega Man Network Transmission – I haven't played it in years, but when I last did, I couldn't get past the first boss. :muffins:

I've never properly finished either Dragon Age: Inquisition or The Witcher: Wild Hunt.  I don't know why I've never finished either of them.  I think W3 is a bit too challenging for me??  I have a hard time with the battles mostly so I pretty much ragequit often with that game or I keep starting new games.  Can't wait for Cyberpunk 2077 though!!  Hopefully I'll have an easier time with that one since I'm used to First-person perspective.  Anyways, I don't know why I never finished DAI, I think it's because I never leave the hinterlands and I just get bored of the game after that, not really having the energy to move on.  I kinda don't like how there's all this open space and nothing really going on.  It kinda makes the game feel like it's going by too slowly.  I kinda miss the way they did things in DAO, it was more singular, like you were going through a path.  Much easier for me.  Maybe I should take the time to try to finish it but I don't know...

Bloodborne - I admit, I ragequit.

Final Fantasy XIII - Overly tedious, a cast of unlikable characters, just no.

God of War Ascension - Wow, this was a big step down from God of War III. I'm yet to play the new God of War but I'm sure it's much better than this.

Ninja Gaiden (NES) - Making you replay three levels every time you die to the final boss is just cruel.

Friendship isn't always easy. But it's definitely worth fighting for.

Castlevania III Dracula’s Curse, and all classic Sonic Games in Sonic Adventure DX

oh, me forgets Pokémon G4. So damn slow, and the fact that I’ve never caught on on any Pokédex and the Mystic Pokémon made me lose morale in the franchise and never touched it ever since  :fluttershy:

Skyrim - Friend ruined the ending for me back on release, so I never did advance much beyond the things to do in Whiterun. Got into modding it a bit, but stopped playing years ago. Reinstalled it on this PC, but deleted it a while later due to needing the space. I love its world and soundtrack, but ehh, idk. Never got past the spoiled ending thing.
