GrimGrimoire 4,973 January 10, 2017 Share January 10, 2017 Considering some of the things I have seen people say on here, I would say there is a chance of it. cmarston1 5,959 January 10, 2017 Share January 10, 2017 that never happens on this forum! All the staff members are treated with respect! Wait... are you saying... It sounds like a juicy story anyways It didn't happen on these forums. People have been for the most part pretty cool here. I was talking about the whole Equestria Girls, Twilicorn, and even Pinkie Pie in Filli Vanilli controversies. Those weren't really pretty. Going back to the topic, while I don't know if the show made me more emotionally soft, it did at least allow me to be more open in watching other media, possibly. Because of FIM, I did give the 2012 Littlest Pet Shop show a chance, and I liked it.
Ganondorf8 11,314 January 10, 2017 Share January 10, 2017 Not really. I was already an emotional wreck long before I started watching MLP, though I will admit that it has made me more self-aware of some of my more troubling faults.

Techno Universal 2,575 January 10, 2017 Share January 10, 2017 Well not really but it's democratically changed my thinking and personally to the point where I now know the answer to fixing human society. PonyMage 228 January 12, 2017 Share January 12, 2017 I dunno. It kind of furthered the doubts I already had in my mind about how I was raised, especially during a time when I was prone to change. Honestly, MLP has made life more complicated for me, its narrowed my potential friends' list, and it's made me more at odds with my family. 1 This isn't pretty but it's what I am tonight. GoddessRarity 48 January 13, 2017 Share January 13, 2017 Before I watched and discovered MLP, I was very closed off to the world and about my emotions. I was once extremely depressed. I saw no real value in life, or why I was here. And while I still think much the same, I've allowed my quirks and passions burn brighter. I've stopped caring what other think of me, and now my opinions rush out of me(heck, count the amount of times that I use size 24 capital letters, and upwards of 20 exclamation points on both this and my other account). Maybe I have grown softer. Maybe I haven't. But I've definitely changed for the better.
Miss 6,229 January 13, 2017 Share January 13, 2017 MLP Makes me emotionally strong! I became sensitive when I was 13 years old and instead of trying to fight it I embraced it. Gave me a sort of new outlook on life and things I saw, did, etc. Emotions are awesome! You just have to learn how to control them. Then I find MLP and I cried alot and I still do. I cry mostly because of the beauty. If someone came up to me and was like "Misscellanio you're a little bitch and you suck dick" I would just be like "ok" and walk away. Not because I'm scared but because it's like "I'm not a bitch and I don't suck dick so...." and what if I did suck dick how would that even insult me. I've always been a sort of strong willed person. MLP did anything but make me more weak. It made me happier first off. I smile way more and just am like sad 0% of the time. All the morals in MLP I already lived by so when I saw the show it was like "whoa! The way I live my life is expressed in this amazing show!" and it motivated me to live the way I'm living times two! Much more prideful persona and much more positive. It definitely gave a much stronger appreciation of alot of things, especially friendship, even though I never really had a weak appreciation but just saying in general. I was raised in struggle and kind of overcame all of that so when MLP came around it was like "AYE!" added to my "aye"

Nerdy Luigi 2,065 January 13, 2017 Share January 13, 2017 (edited) I don't believe it made me much softer emotionally. I already started that way (though I hardly ever show it in real life, I really am soft inside). Though it did make me: *Strong-willed *More stable (yeah the risk of me killing myself went down pretty drastically) *Less negative (still am at times) *Probably a better person in more ways that I can't think of right now.
