Basically, in my backstory (which is complex as hell) The Empire used to have a Masquerade Ball every year where Zaros (the emperor) would invite the nobility of the empire, and some royals from other empires/areas (such as Celestia and Luna) as well as The Legatus (the 5 very powerful Generals of the empire) and other high profile military members etc.

 

I need a bunch of ponies to use in the picture, when it is done (Will be started on the 15th of Feb) you will receive an individual picture of your character dressed in masquerade attire, as well as the full picture being posted on DeviantArt with all characters credited.

 

If you're interestedin helping me out with this, leave:

• A reference of your OC
• A description of what you would like their suit/dress to look like (please give detail if you want it)
• A description of the mask they will be wearing (They NEED Mask, as this is a MASQUERADE Ball)
• Their cutie mark (if visible)
• Any accessories wanted (earrings, necklaces etc.)

The project will be started on the 15th of February 2017, so that is when this request will be closed until the picture is completed.

 

Upon completion you will be given

• Your own picture of your OC in Masquerade Dress from the main picture
• The link to the full picture on DeviantArt (which will also have the appropriate OC's from my backstory in it)

I love helping out for these things, here are a few ponies for you Zarosian to start you off.

 

Mentis

 

 

He'd be wearing a tux and a Moon symbol face mask, maybe a pair of crescent moons opposite one another. 

Sapphire

 

 

I think she'd be just wearing a mask (really up to you honestly)

Crystal

 

 

She'd be wearing some sort of dress uniform and a star mask possibly.

Soft Star

Battenberg would be wearing a frilly, feminine dress and would wear a large mask with lots of feathers and sequins on to hide her face.

 

 

Velvet would wear a shorter, tighter dress and would have a black slightly gothic style mask. As for accessories she'd probably just have her choker on as in this picture.

Well then here's my OC Techno!

I'll have him in his normal shoes, collar and crown that are pictured. Though his snout would be more like a stallion as I made this a while ago useing a Princess Luna base. I apologise that I don't have a separate image of his cutie mark but it should be visible on this image. Now his mask is going to look like black metal with a slight blue tint to it and with glowing blue circuit board patterns that are linked with his eyes and with the main blue glowing square on the centre of the forehead.

I'd love it if you could use my OC, Mystic Skies! She has no cutie mark, don't worry. The one preferred accessory would be to have a dark pink rose in her hair, but if you can't, that's okay! (And if you could sneak in a friend's OC, that'd be great too!)

Wow Zaro going for gold with awesome ideas like usual, same for OC's heheh awesome ideas. Welp I may as well apply King here eh? I enjoy his stature and height kinda matching the official event style.

A simple magenta style suit would suffice, I don't wanna ask for anything over the top heheh feel bad for posting him anyway.
His mask could be a pink and purple mask similar to the faces of tragedy and comedy in Greek theatre? That would make sense for his personality I guess.
Accessories aren't needed for me heheh and cutie mark of course nope
