I have started watching an anime series called Rurouni Kenshin and I really like it, I was just wondering if anypony knew of any other good anime series I could watch ?

Might recommend this one, even if you don't like sonic, the anime is pretty good, yet underrated.

Extra note, try the jap version. It's way better than the english dub.

Samurai x is just the English dubbed version of Rurouni Kenshin. I think they should have kept the name Rurouni Kenshin. it sounds much cooler.

Well I haven't seen that anime, but my favorite series is Chobits and Tokyo Mew Mew. i think i spelled those right, right? Anyways, Chobits has english dubbed but not Tokyo Mew Mew. Oh and I forgot to mention my favorite anime of all time is Pokemon. sometimes its ridiculous however.

If mature content isn't an issue I would suggest Claymore, Elfen Lied, and Ghost in the Shell. They are some of my personal top favorites.

An anime series that a friend got me to watch was Wolf's Rain. Definitely think it's a good anime and one that I think is worth suggesting. I've heard a lot of people say good things about it and I don't disagree with them.

I just finished GJ Club on Crunchyroll. I think it's pretty darn good! It's only 12 episodes so it doesn't take to long to finish. :3

If so what do you like? Ive seen and liked Soul Eater, pokemon, Solty Rei, XXX Holic,Count of Monte Cristo:Gankutsuou, Baka and Test, Death Note,DBZ, and Naruto.

 

I enjoy the older stuff myself still today.

Things like the original Slayers, Neon Genesis Evangalion, Record of Lodoss War, BubbleGum Crisis, etc....

 

I find most newer stuff (most, its like finding a needle in a haystack though for the good clean fun) is far to oriented on the sexual side :/

I'm a guy, and as tantelizing as it may be to see such shows, i don't find them particularly entertaining when they ditch everything that makes a show a show with a story and characters, and start making them into not much more than a peep show.

Well its rather short and one season (12 episodes, not including recaps and bonus episodes), but I found it pretty cool.

I suppose at first its nothing more than cute anime girls doing something, but more into it theres flippin' tank battles and whatnot! I mean really! Tank fighting as a sport! I suppose its just me and my friends, but I enjoyed every minute of watching it. Cause tanks. So go look it up and see the tank fighting.

also theres no english dub. only Japanese with English subs...and a Russian song that was sung with English subs...

 

Though besides that one anime I am not into a whole lot of anime. I don't care for it all too much personally.

I've always been a sucker for Fairy Tail. The animation is kinda crap for a long-running shonen anime, but there's not a single boring character (or at least major protagonist) in that series. It's a shame that the anime ended a couple of weeks ago after 175 episodes, but if I heard right, I believe it's just a hiatus to let the manga get ahead.

I do like the art style of anime, but I've never enjoyed the writing. I feel like a lot of these japanese writers are afraid to go outside the box. Too often I see the same character types and the same plots.

 

There's really only two animes I ever fell in love with. The first season of Digimon, and Medabots.

Has anyone started watching Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Giant)? The first episode aired last week and it's pretty damn good.
