My all time favorite, like many others, is DBZ. That's the first ever anime I watched so it'll always hold a special place. Other than that, there is one other that really stands out to me.

Arguably Kill la Kill's predecessor. The downright Action-packed Gurren Lagann (So glad I came across this)

I'm not really a big fan of anime; I tried watching some a few months ago and I couldn't really get into it.

Just recently though, a friend of mine suggested that I watch Death Note. I gave it another chance, and I have to say that I really like it! :P The story is so suspenseful and it always keeps my interest. I need to find out what happens next :o

Finished Oreimo today! I thought it was great, personally, loved it from start to finish (that includes the ending)! Even ended up trying to prolong it by slowing the rate at which I was watching the episodes. Anyways, now I've moved on to the next two anime on my list:

One Week Friends. As I mentioned before I said I'd check it out, and I thought it was pretty good from what I've seen thus far (just the first episode)! I'm definitely gonna keep watching this one. :squee:

Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge. Saw a screenshot of it on FB and decided to give it a try. As was the case with OWF, I ended up liking what I saw, and will of course be continuing it. ^_^

I've already finished Sword Art Online, Black Bullet and No Game No Life this summer. Currently working my way through Log Horizon and Accel World. I also have Attack on Titan on hold. Maybe I should finish that.

I really recommend No Game No Life. My favorite I've seen this summer by far. Black Bullet is pretty good too, but I hear a few negative things about it. Not sure about SAO. I enjoyed it personally, but it also gets some negative reception.

I just finished D.Gray-Man the other day. It's such a shame they had to discontinue the anime before finishing it. Now I have to read the manga to make up what the show didn't get a chance to finish. 103 episodes was a pain to go through.

Next i'll either pick up Sword Art Online, Jormungand, Kuroshitsuji, or Ghost in the Shell.

Goddamn Kill la Kill was so good. Love love loved it, 9.5/10 would watch again! I will be HIGHLY anticipating the 25th episode/OVA soon. :D

Now I've been watching Gurren Lagann(amazing so far, finished episode 15 so I'm done with the 1st part but I hear it gets way better even), JoJo's Bizzare Adventure(good so far, not too far into it yet tho but it's certainly... unique), and Sailor Moon Crystal(it's alright, but since it's a remake of something older it's kinda old fashioned and cliché imo, but I'll stick with it since I've never seen Sailor Moon before and want to through it). :)

Imagine if you will being on your death bed – And standing around your bed – the ghosts of the ideas, the dreams, the abilities, the talents given to you by life.

And that you for whatever reason, you never acted on those ideas, you never pursued that dream, you never used those talents, we never saw your leadership, you never used your voice, you never wrote that book.

And there they are standing around your bed looking at you with large angry eyes saying "We came to you, and only you could have given us life! But now. We must die with you FOREVER!

The question is – if you die today, what ideas, what dreams, what abilities, what talents, what gifts, would die with you?

Those are all the show's I'm currently watching this spring season. Sidonia no Kishi (Knights of Sidonia) is my current favourite. I know everyone is fangasming over No Game No Life but I just don't think it's as interesting.

xD I was looking for images that showed up when I google my username and your image showed up...

Finally I get around to posting in this thread. I've known about anime for a long while now but I never really got into it, at least not until this past summer.  I did watch a few episodes of Girls und Panzer a few years back, but as I said, I did not really get into it. It was the same friend who got me into MLP that got me watching anime actually. :P

I've seen 2 movies and watched 2 series since mid-summer.

Movies:

Howl's Moving Castle: 8/10 - (I actually saw it a year and a half ago and I enjoyed it, but it did not spark a real interest.)

First Squad: 5/10 - While the basic idea was good, it really needed more meat on the bones, more development all around.

Series:

The Pet Girl of Sakurasou: 9.5/10 - My first real series, I really enjoyed it, the characters were great as was the humor.

Angel Beats! 9/10 Great characters, interesting story, good humor, and many feels to be had.

I'm about halfway through Aldnoah.Zero and Girls und Panzer. :D

Aldnoah.Zero caught my interest almost right off the bat (freaking giant mechs!- or, Kataphrakts, as they're called), while Girls und Panzer had a bit of a slower start (as in I didn't like it as much as I did the former at first, but I mean, freaking tanks!), but just a few episodes in I began to love them both equally.

After enjoying Clannad so much, I'm thinking of checking out the rest Key's visual-novels-turned-anime.

Air (the series) is totally amazing, but the ending is one of the most heartbreaking things ever. Be prepared to cry  :(  Kanon is very good as well, make sure it's the 2006 version you watch. And Angel Beats, is possibly in my top 10 anime shows of all time, it's that good. Had me crying so much...pretty much all Key stuff does that to me, but I never got into Clannad strangely enough.

New season has started and so far I'm watching World Trigger (I liked the manga so was always a must watch), Psycho Pass 2 (loved the first season so again a no brainer), Amagi Brilliant Park (2 eps in and I'm still unsure  , but I'm going to give it a while. I was expecting something like Arakawa but set in a theme park, not quite so far) and Ookami Shoujo. I'm planning on watching Kiseijuu and Sanzoku no Mumuse Ronja which is a series by Ghibli so should be interesting to say the least.

I plan on watching all of these. Kanon will probably be next. What about Little Busters? For some reason, it doesn't seem as popular as the others lol

Little Busters isn't as good. I watched the majority of the first season, but just couldn't hold on to it. I think it had one or two things going for it, but far too much against it in comparison.
