Do You get bitten by Mosquitoes?

Anyone here ever got bitten by a mosquito? If so, how often do you get bitten?

 

I always get bitten by mosquitoes, because I go outside to play basketball all the time and it's been humid all summer and most of fall so I'd come in with at least three bites. They get irritating, buzzing near my ears and giving me bites, no matter how many I smack or how fast I run they just keep on coming.

The mosquitoes are really bad in the deep south. I don't get bitten often tho. When I'm outside with a telescope, I usually have a powerful fan blowing on me.

The mosquitoes stick around but can't seem to land on me.

Maybe a few times in the past. I haven't gotten bitten that much. Last time I can remember them being a problem was back in June of this year when I was helping my father put up a swing.

In Hong Kong? Practically every time and multiple times when I go out on a hike. Here in Canada? Maybe once every half a year.

I don't see mosquitoes that much anymore, I'm happy about that.

I rarely get bitten, and when I do the bites don't itch. I like to go out into the bush and hike and have fires, and the wee bastards will swarm and be annoying (at least until tbe flames get going), but I usually come out of the brush unbitten, even without repellant.

I usually get bitten by them at least a dozen times a year but this year I didn't suffer any mosquito bites. That may have been due to the fact that this past summer where I live was scorching hot along with numerous forest fires resulting in mosquitos not having the right kind of environment with which to thrive in.

When I'm around mosquitoes or bugs of any sort, it's like ringing the dinner bell. There must be something about me that attracts the vile little monstrosities. It was at its worst when I lived in the Midwest and had to deal with ticks and chiggers, so mosquitoes don't seem as bad by comparison, but all biting insects seem to be a problem. I can't stand them, even if they seem to love me.

I can't go outside at all at my house during summer. Between my car and front door, I've been bitten up to 5 times. Bug spray works for a couple mins only.

I’ve never been bitten by a mosquito, ever. Maybe it’s because I was not much of an outside person but after going biking many times recently, I’ve never gotten bitten by a single one! But I don’t think it’s common where I live.

Most of the time I get bit is either mowing the lawn, or in the factory I work at due to the loading bay doors always being open. We're even stocked up on repellents.

I haven't really left my home besides watering plants or going to work.  I was pretty lucky this year, I rarely ever got bitten by a mosquito.  Most of the time I'm not that lucky.

Yes. The mosquitoes are especially bad at sunset in the summer time here.
