Things that in media that scared you when you were young?

Regardless if it was really young ages or teen years. What’s some things in media that scared you? Please do NOT share any videos of incredibly graphic in any way content or get really explicit in details about it. If it’s highly graphic violence or whatever just sum it up in the least graphic way possible.

For me:

This one actually has caused multiple panic attacks ffs

Bonus:

An instrumental version of the first video

Listen to this late at night, when you’re the only one awake and it’s raining or just really cold outside with some good headphones at full volume. I swear when I do that I feel as if the chants of Are You Ready are something I’m hearing as if I was having the exact experience the video shows, as if they were legitimately asking me this not him. That sounds crazy though I guess.

That scared me? Hmm, I don't really know. I think salad fingers might of creeped me out when I was younger. Also, I was really into creepypastas and paranormal stuff back then (and still am to an extent)

That would have to be Wall Masters in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I have had so many moments when I wasn't concentrating, where one would come out of nowhere and scare the life out of me.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

That infamous scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark where they open the ark. Hard to be disturbed by it now, especially with it becoming a meme, but as a kid, I was just sitting there mortified thinking to myself, ".....This movie is PG?"

Those were kind of creepy to me when I was younger. But for Zelda-related horror, the Big Bots from Zelda II freaked me out way more.

I could never explain why they were so freaky to me, huge blobs in 2D games have always just been weirdly unsettling to me.

This game(and Splatterhouse 3) creeped me out as a kid. The enemies and music just got me.

I am surprised these games never saw a re-releases outside of the mediocre remake for the PS3/Xbox 360 as I would love to own these games again.

I think one of things would definitely be Michael Jackson's Thriller Music Video. It scared me for years.

What scares me is within the media itself.

When I was a kid, the first thing that scared me was this. The final fight against the Terminator in the original Terminator movie...

Especially that hallway chase scene from 0:49 to 1:05, roughly.

It's weird. Horror movie monsters and slasher film mascots? Never really scared me. But this did.
The CGI of the Terminator walking/limping through a hallway was not good CGI, even back then. But somehow, that made it look even scarier to me, like some kind of surreal super natural thing. Not to mention, once his fake human skin and clothing were removed to reveal the metal robot underneath, it was clear that this really was something that couldn't and wouldn't stop. It won't hesitate, you can't make it slow down, you can't negotiate with it. It was just an indiscriminate force of nature, or I guess in this case, of science gone terribly wrong.

But that was when I was young. Now I can just laugh at it. B)

Amusingly, toddler me apparently found the second one worse. Because I would still watch Beauty and the Beast, just hide behind the couch when Beast was being scary.

But Cinderella? Nope! Refused. Lucifer the Cat was too much for toddler ShadO.

My brother actually got in trouble for this. When I was little, he was baby-sitting me. He used to let me watch his sci-fi and anime videos. This time, it was the original 1958 version of "The Fly". The "Help me! Help me!" scene gave me serious nightmares for weeks! For the longest time, I was scared to death of flies. (Oddly, not spiders). I still have trouble forcing myself to watch this clip. It absolutely terrified me when I was younger!

Rugrats had its share of nightmare fuel, but one that always stood out was from one of Angelica's Nightmares, when she was scared about her parents having another kid, and the baby she imagines is ugly and tries to eat her in the end

I used (and still) to love STALKER games when I was ~6 and I played (well, tried to play because it was terrifying af) them, I scared myself to the point that I couldn't be alone in a room because I believed that there can be monsters from the game (especially I was terrified by the rake-like zombie with a gas mask)

Also I loved to watch creepypasta videos and "TOP TEN GHOSTS RECORDED" type videos

I always had to leave the room during the choking scene in Mrs. Doubtfire.

I need to see that one again  was too long ago for me to remember.

IT scared me, I had my first panic attack when that movie was on TV. Only got worse after that, and I stayed away from action movies for a long time. I got to enjoy them later though
